I primarily came to visit family and friends, so I spent my time going out with them. I didnt spend much time at the hotel and didn't use most of the facilities. I appreciated the wifi in the evenings, and watched some streaming TV on my phone, so the wifi connection was good. More important, the staff from the front desk to security and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. I want to specifically acknowledge Gigi, who checked me in and followed up a day or two later to make sure I was comfortable and if I needed anything. The location was personally convenient to me, being near family and friends, but it is also right next to the large Del Amo Mall, as well as other strip malls, banks and brokerages, and a full-size grocery, from as short as 1 minute walk away. So convenient.

I felt the decor was a bit dated, but otherwise comfortable, and I received good value. The room was large enough to accommodate a small seating area with a coffee table, from which you could relax, snack, and watch TV, or in my case, streaming TV on my phone. The bed and pillows were comfortable, there was a dresser and a closet with hangers, and a mini refrigerator for your personal items. The bathroom had generous counter space.

The hotel was clean. My room was clean.Jacob in the bar was AMAZING!! He made me feel very welcome, super attentive, and professional. The cookies were hot and fresh as usual 😁!

Parking was super expensive per night. Channels were not working on TV but were quickly fixed upon calling the front desk. The room was small, and the bathroom was super small. I was not offered water as a Hilton Honors member. Other DoubleTree hotels gave me 2 waters when I checked in

Good location and close to shops

Lack of communication with staff between departments having to tell the staff every single time you went to breakfast that it was included in our stay and they even rang the front desk to confirm to be told it wasn’t included even when it was

I really enjoyed the breakfast - coffee was very strong just the way I like it'!

Some slices of the French toast at breakfast were hard (difficult to chew) The air extactor in my bathroom wasn't working Water bottles were limited to only the first day of my stay

Amenities, fitness center and pool. Good staff. I saw some security personnel. You may want to explain what they do. I would like it if they watched the parking lot because I could not see my car from my room.

Parking costs $30 to park. I stayed over night. Too expensive fee for parking.

Quick check-in at the front desk, and of course, the fresh warm cookies! Plenty of free open parking. Beds and pillows were comfortable and we slept well. Friendly staff

- Old cabinets/drawers for fridge - Room was tight/small-ish - They started charging $3 per bottled water (starting Sept 2023, per accounting office)

The staff was excellent room was ok. It's was clean, food was good. Loved the cookies.

Bed was hard. The shower had awesome pressure but was kind of narrow, and the rail in the shower made it more narrow. The door to the shower was hard to open and close. Overall, it was ok, especially for the price.

Like most Hilton Hotels this place made me feel special. Hot cookies on arrival, nice entrance, decent pool and gym, bar and restaurant nice etc. Its also a great spot - nice and safe - 5 minute drive to golden beaches, across the road from a huge shopping complex.

I was a little annoyed that room service came with an extra charge (on top of what was quoted on the menu). Is ts a bill shock especially when I also paid a decent tip. So a 15 buck said cost me 22....

Staff was great, bed was comfortable, room clean. And the cookies were fabulous.

Unfortunately the towels were stiff and scratchy and the bath mat was shredding. I was disappointed there was no microwave. All in all I did not feel it was a close to $300 a night room.

Great location and property. Staff are great.

charging $30 a day for parking (was free until several months ago) is ridiculous. Rates way too high too
