We had a very good time at Promenade. We loved the location, enjoyed swimming and our room was nice. Our view was oceanside and wonderful. The extras was the Ocean view and the campfire (s'mores) Customer service was excellent especially Paul. He was great and kept us informed during the tsunami scare. His customer service is excellent! Victor was great too!

Will be glad when construction is done as it was noisy. Would have liked a place to put clothes like a chest of drawers . I didn't like living out of my suitcase - too messy!

Perfect location at the Turnaround in Seaside, close to shops and steps to the beach and Promenade. The balconies are very well weather protected.

It’s worn out in a lot of ways. The management is obviously addressing this with construction but the room we stayed in was still rough, but comfortable and clean. Our balcony view was blocked when seated by a wall (second floor). The outside garbage cans had flies and a smell all the time. Our outdoor balcony door didn’t lock, and instead had a broom handle there to block it from opening.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating when we checked in and needed an adjustment. It was obvious they had a lot going on and still they took the time to help us without making us feel rushed or problematic. The pool/hot tub hours were the biggest perk as well as the opportunity to do a late checkout for only a small fee. The location was amazing and the partial ocean view room was way better than expected. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. I'm sorry. I didn't take good pics but the rooms were clean and comfy enough. The towels and paper folding added a cute touch and our kids were blown away by their balcony room with a fireplace.

Small things. A shower in one of our rooms had totally awful output and pressure. The other room was perfectly fine tho. The cleanliness was just above acceptable in the kitchenette but it wasn't gross. Biggest complaints: lack of a good table in our rooms. We like to play cards and dice while on vacation and there wasn't really a place to do that in ours. The pillows. They looked so nice and fluffy and supportive and comfortable and were weirdly the absolute opposite of that 😭. I usually bring my own pillow and I was just sad that I had not this time because they were so uncomfortable and just went totally flat when laid on.

The employees went above and beyond in every aspect even checking in to see how we were doing a few times. The 5th floor loft with chairs is so relaxing if ur looking for relaxation and location overlooking the beach this is the best. Very clean and most of all you don't hear staffs carts slamming around so u can sleep in for once !!! The pool is massive with a huge chandelier over the top and a hot tub also very clean.. The managers went above and beyond and even helped me carry my bags.. I have never felt such relaxation so far from home we will definitely stay here every time!!

Only complaint is no air conditioner.I am also 6ft7 300lbs and they have 2 box fans in the room so they did the best they could!

The view and location are priceless. The cleanliness and quality of the staff and service cannot be overstated. We appreciate Ellie at the Front Desk and the gentleman at Concierge so much. My husband and I, and little girl, were so blessed to be assigned to Room 524.

We didn't need anything to be better, knowing this is a property under new ownership and undergoing future renovation, there will be updates made. But the current charms are so delightful. Every facility worked perfectly, for us. Don't have a single complaint.

Room 318's history. My Beautiful Mom is one of the 1st women commercial fisherman in the USA. When Dad died, his son stole the insurance $ (funeral and our eating $), and showed up to the funeral in his brand new trans am causing my Mom such a financial struggle for years. In 2012 Mom got cancer from dentures. My Mom Never complained, nor asked for anything, ever. She always took stray "broken family" children in...giving them her dinner (without me knowing), when Mom was hungry :( The all knowing, know nothing drs said we had 1 yr. but Jesus gave us 4. We were so Tired. Just TIRED. I packed bags, & told Mom we were going somewhere for a day. We played 20 questions but I wasn't going to tell her we were going to go stay at the beach....ON the beach, the Shilo Inn on the Promenade. :) Our confirmation email said room 226. In 2015, I surprised her with 3 nights at the Shilo Inn which we couldn't afford. With her limited eyesight, she walked in the room and saw her beautiful ocean she fished for 17 years, selling to Star Kist. She had an absolutely complete FIT of Happiness to think we were going to stay for the night...and couldn't believe we were staying for 3! In 2016, I lost my Mom, my best friend,....and it nearly killed me. I've been wanting to go back and stay in OUR SAME ROOM. To confirm we stayed in 226 like the prior-stay confirmation stated, I called the Shilo, but they said their system didn't go back that far. I was so distressed. I would just die if I got there and it wasn't our room full of our great memories!!! I emailed manger Clayton pics I had taken from our room. He went FAR BEYOND my expectations by actually going in rooms with my pics in hand, and emailed me to say Mom and I had indeed stayed in room 318 & that he had Secured it so not be given to anyone else! Oh how I felt to turn the handle of the door, seeing Mom and me,.......and the vase of GORGEOUS flowers waiting on our table.

Our family loves The Shiloh Inn at Seaside! It is located right on the beachfront & immediately adjacent to the famous Seaside turnaround, thus both the beach/promenade and downtown shopping/restaurants are all just steps away! I thoroughly enjoyed my morning coffee on the balcony, "people watching" those already on the beach & promenade as I contemplated our family's plans for the day. Our family also enjoyed the Shiloh's sizable & kid friendly pool, plus hot tub, and sauna! Staff was very helpful and always courteous. I'd recommend the Shilo Inn as a clean, safe, affordable, and convenient place to stay in Seaside, especially for families!

I took one point off for facilities because 1 of the 2 elevators was out of order for the entire 10 day duration of our stay, with apparently no plans or attempts to fix the broken one. This resulted in sometimes a VERY long wait for the 1 operating elevator.

Everything was clean. Overlooking the beach. Conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. When we arrived parked my vehicle and didnt have to drive anywhere. Had a problem with the toilet in the bathroom of first room. But the staff found us another room so it all worked out. And me and partner had a great weekend.

Can't really think of anything we didn't like.

The ocean view is perfect! The staff was incredible. Bailee at the front desk was such a wonderful person to work with, even before me and my family arrived! She really went above and beyond to make sure our experience at the pomenade was top tier. Shout out to her and Juanita for setting up a little birthday surprise for my daughter !!!

The staff was amazing!! So kind, so thoughtful, so hard working, and they all had such great attitudes! The room was nice and had a wonderful loft with chairs looking at the ocean. Great spot to watch the sunrise and

The bed was so soft and conpl worn out. I am 5'5" 140lbs and it was so soft I literally couldn't roll over without completely lifting my body. My husband also couldn't move and sleeping next to him caused me to call into the middle since he made a bigger dent than me. It was so bad we had to call our last day short and leave because our backs hurt so bad. Our sink also wouldn't drain. But I want really worried about that. Our shower and toilet worked fine so we still had water and a place to spit toothpaste and wash our hands. And the did send a maintenance man up to fix it. They weren't able to but, it wasn't a big deal.
