Very friendly staff and delicious restaurant with fantastic view. The pool next to the beach was great. The upgrades to the finishes were nice too. Kailey who worked there was especially impressive with her attention to my 4 yearbook old daughter and her inquisitive mind 😊 Restaurants, ice cream and conscience store/pharmacy in walking distance. Even though both elevators stopped working it was very considerate of the hotel to give us restaurant vouchers as a nice gesture for the inconvenience.

Loved the view. The suite was spacious. The maintenance person, Shaun, was a great help, informative and a pleasure to talk to. While sitting on the balcony, watched a satellite shoot in the sky. Looked like a giant fireball. Was amazing!

Got locked out on the balcony. Sink leaked in the kitchen. Was charged 5 days of parking but was only there 2.(Was corrected after I noticed)And why do you need to pay to park, you're paying for a room already. Do many walk there? Use to free continental breakfast but paid what seemed too much.

The view was beautiful. The room is laid out weird but understandable so that every room has a view.

I booked through Booking.com and it quotes one price, when we went to check in it was almost and additional $70.00. It is very deceiving. I understand that there is tax added but then there was also a parking fee, etc. that was added in. We found an AirBNB for quite a bit less a night the other nights that we stayed in NSB. (of course, we did not have the view but were still within a short walk to the beach)

The mini suite is fantastic. The couch is not very comfortable. It would be nice to get a more comfortable couch. I do know it’s a sleeper sofa, but they do make better ones while you’re doing the renovations. And umbrellas for the tables would be a great option as I don’t like sitting directly in the sun, but I like sitting at the pool however, I didn’t get a chance to experience the pool as it rained most of my time there the view is fantastic overall a great experience and wonderful staff.

No tables with umbrellas at the pool. I wish the restaurant was open for more hours and wish it had a bar by the pool.

I cannot say enough great things about Best Western S. Beach. It is the best spot. The staff, the wonderful vies, the great romm with the balcony is only someone from Boston and the cold can dream of. I hope to come back here again next Feb. for my school vacation and I look forward to it. The staff at the front desk are so friendly and helpful. The ony thing that may be nice is some pastry in the morning to go with the great coffee they had in the lobby.

Entire hotel exceeded expectations. We spent a few days at a Orlando Universal Resort and were very disappointed in the hotel. We wanted to to go to the beach next and picked New Smyrna at random and thought the Best Western sounded fine for our wants. It SAVED the vacation! The room was clean and comfortable and had a great view. The staff was so friendly and helpful. At one point, our microwave wouldn't turn on. Maintenance had a replacement in less than 10 minutes. My kids' hot pocket emergency was saved! It was a fantastic stay and we'll definitely return.

Access to the beach was limited but that was no fault of the hotel - simply aftermath of a hurricane.

I loved the ocean view suite with the awesome balcony to sit and watch the ocean! The pool was gorgeous, and they have a lovely sun deck connected to it. The hotel staff were so sweet and promptly got us whatever we needed for the room.

The hotel’s direct beach access was unavailable due to current construction but they did notify us of that ahead of time. The balcony door also didn’t lock in our suite. We didn’t think it was an issue since we were on the 6th floor but it may have freaked other guests out.

Very nice breakfast. The staff there was very on top of refilling. Scrambled eggs, sausage, cereal, pancakes, pastries/bagels/toast, Juice.

Disorganized! Pancake machine placement was the cause. Maybe clearer signage would have helped. Guest entering did not realize that the line was only to the pancake station and not to the rest of the items on the counter until they had almost reached the pancake station. Of which the pancake station takes a bit of time. This was not in any way the fault of staff! As I said before, they were very on top of it.

The room had a nice view of the beach and ocean and was close to several restaurants and shops. There was adequate parking, and the location was just south of the main pier by about 3/4 of a mile so it was nice and quiet.

Nearly a year after Hurrican Ian the hotel still hasn't repaired the wooden stairs leading directly to the beach. You need to walk down to one of the street access points. Not a horrible walk but honestly, nearly every other place along the beach has repaired the stairs.

Staff very helpful. I let them know about my pet coming and the pet fee wasn't very expensive would stY again if needed to when down this way ,,thank you best western for one of the best sleep on a trip,

Parking garage could be a little bigger but wouldn't let me stop staying here in the future
