Rooms & beds really really good. Service was good. Everything was clean. Thank you. Ideal location in Camden.

Bar in the evening. We asked for two beers, the person said the bar was closed, so no tap-beer, but we could have beers in bottles. That was ok, but we had to pay by card at the reception. Two minutes later, three other persons arrive at the bar, order tap beer and pay by cash.... That was silly from the bartender! To add to that the beers in bottles were quite warm. Bad experience at that hotel bar.

I've been traveling and staying at hotels for over 40 years. I've never experienced anything like Holiday Inn Camdentown. THIS location should be the benchmark for all Hotels. The patience and courtesy of the staff MADE our stay! Usman, Rohit, Burhan, Jasmine,, and Sadaqat are all outstanding. The level of teamwork was incredible - seeing managers pitch in to help bus tables so that guests didn't have to wait to sit down for breakfast. I told them, they should write a book, make educational videos that all hotel management/staff could learn the best techniques for making guests feel like guests and no inconveniences. If I could, I'd give them 20 stars.

What a fantastic hotel. Paid for a room with a view over the lock and it was most definitely worth it. Spent so much time looking at the view which changed throughout the day from quiet and empty first thing in the morning to packed with people and full of loud music in the evening! Ear plugs provided - possibly necessary if you try to sleep early but we were out until about 1 and it had all quietened down by then. Room was a bit dated but spotlessly clean. Lovely comfortable bed. Breakfast was great. Staff were so friendly and could not do enough for us. Special mention to Prerna, Shrijan and Jasmine - helpful, smiley and just lovely! I will definitely be back.

Location was absolutely superb - right next to Camden Lock and the markets, but away from the main roads and therefore very quiet. There were all the facilities you could need (Gym, restaurant bar etc) and the rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. The staff were absolutely great (I left my driving glasses behind and they sent them on straight way - many thanks), helpful and welcoming from Reception to breakfast staff. Particular thanks to the restaurant that rustled me up a really tasty late meal. At the moment there is a great deal of refurbishment going on, but it didn’t impact on me at all, but just be aware that some facilities may not be available.

I had a fantastic stay at Holiday Inn London Camden Lock from late Friday, February 28th, to Sunday, March 2nd. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their polite, friendly, and helpful attitude. A lovely touch was the gift bag offered to the kids at check-in, which they really appreciated. The rooms were spotless, with extremely comfortable beds, ensuring a great night's sleep. The breakfast selection was excellent, offering a variety of fresh and tasty options to start the day. The hotel's location in Camden Town was perfect, with plenty of attractions nearby while still providing a quiet and relaxing environment inside. Overall, I highly recommend Holiday Inn London Camden Lock for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in London.

I can only make a suggestion to add a second toaster for the mezzanine dining area (i.e. breakfast rush)

Our stay at the holiday inn Camden was excellent . This was a trip as part of my husbands 60th birthday celebrations and it did not disappoint. Very clean and a Perfect Location. Big shout out to the staff especially Qureshi who gave us a free room upgrade and organised the decoration of our room for my husband - it was a lovely surprise and a lovely thought . At breakfast my husband was wearing “it’s a good day for a Guinness “ T-shirt and the staff came along with a small Guinness for him 😂 the staff at breakfast Prerna and Shrijan were amazing where my husband was also presented with a small cake with the plate decorated with happy birthday - the thought again was lovely we would definitely stay here again.

Staff were very helpful and attentive, and this is a great location overseeing the lock and right next door to a very cultural Camden Market .

The room was very basic , and not very exciting and inviting, and I and this wasn't that cheap I feel , there also is work on the outside of the building. Breakfast was nice, but the bacon was hard to eat, and the hash browns were luke warm .This was disappointing as I do like my breakfasts , shame I did expect better . I don't feel it rates the 4 star rating as I have been in better rooms with fewer stars . Pictures are of their standard room.

Location is what makes this hotel special. It is in the heart of Camden Town - it is worth it (although pricey) to ask for a room with the Camden Lock view. It wasn't even very loud on the Friday and Saturday nights we stayed there although we were expecting to hear the sounds from the clubs and bars nearby. The room was clean, the hotel has had a good breakfast, and it is only a short walk from Camden Town Underground. We enjoyed being able to walk straight out to the food and other stalls of Camden Town Market.

We had to ask for a fridge, which was promptly supplied, but the fridge was essentially a freezer and froze all the food we put in there. No other complaints.

Comfortable bed! We had a good sleep. The room had a good view of the canal. It was also helpful that the hotel offered us a late check-out and luggage storage. After the check-out, I worked in the cafe on the ground floor, where a few desks with lamps were set up. Friendly staff overall.

The room was smaller than other holiday inns we stayed at. The half-board food package had limited choices on the menu, with many fried/ baked items and not many vegetable options. However, it was convenient for one night, and we did not have to leave the hotel to search for food.

I've stayed here before a couple year ago and I think the rooms have been updated since then. Everything looked very new and clean. The bed was so comfortable - and they even let you switch out your pillows if you want a different type. The AC works well which is important because outside can get a bit noisy if the window is open. The staff is super helpful and friendly.

The breakfast is expensive for what you get but what was on offer was good and the staff was great.
