I am staying at this hotel for the third time in the last six months and I plan to stay at this hotel in the future... everything is great in this hotel. The hotel is clean, the rooms are comfortable and clean as well. The location of the hotel is simply wonderful... near the hotel there is everything you need, shops, restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, hospitals, the promenade for walks - all this is at a distance of 1 to 10 minutes on foot... The staff from the reception to the restaurant - all without exception wonderful people, professionals in their field, polite and friendly.

Everything was perfect

The staff were very friendly and personable. It did take a while to communicate and confirm a pick up from the airport but it was arranged and I was collected by the owner/manager. Their breakfast was rather delicious with the aubergine Arabic curry and some deliciously fresh baclava. About a 20 minute walk to the Kuwait Towers walking along the promenade along the coast. The hotel is very near a large supermarket and nice restaurants . They have a small pool which is pleasant to sit near. A little dated, but comfortable well priced hotel. The staff make you feel very welcome.

I booked this hotel as it was in an ideal location and had great facilities. I was revisiting Kuwait with my daughter after 45 years, having lived there as a teenager myself with my parents who lived and worked in Kuwait. "M" the Hotel Manager communicated exceptionally well before, during and after our visit and made my daughter's and my visit the most memorable experience. Thank you to "M" and his staff, the owner and rest of the crew, you were brilliant. I would highly recommend if you are visiting for pleasure as well as business.

Nothing!...everything was in great order. I guess only thing I did not like was not being able to stay longer!

Friendly staff, great facilities for a work team including a lounge where you can sit and work, conduct meeting. The room was spacious with a sea view. Easy access to the city. Good place to an evening stroll by the sea.

After a while you get fed-up with the breakfast but this is an issue with most of the hotels.

I had a pleasant stay at Al Salam Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short visit. The bed was cozy, and the Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay. The location is convenient, close to shops, restaurants, and main roads. The staff were polite and helpful, and check-in was fast and easy. It’s a good option if you're looking for a budget-friendly and quiet place to stay. I would consider coming back.

The location was great. Staff is very friendly, Ayesha from reception went above and beyond to accommodate me and my 3 year old son. I will definitely book again. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Only the first night, the room temperature was cold, and it didn't seem to work properly. However, reception went and purchased a small heater and notified maintenance to rectify the situation, so thank you for the wonderful service.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. Relatively cheap compared to kuwaiti standards, but offers all comfort. The hotel is run and managed by very kind people from bell boy to hotel manager. Always helpful with advice getting around, and arranging extra comfort while at the hotel. Since we were with kids, they allowed us to use the rooftop pool while the other was being renovated. We received room upgrade upon checkin, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was nice, the only thing I missed is some freshly brewed coffee. Special kudos to the hotel manager who was always around to help us with anything.

There is nothing bad about the hotel. The only thing I did not like is the lack of restaurants nearby. There are takeaway options, but for sitting down in a restaurant, we had to go to the souq area (whuch is an experience on its own).

The hotel was much above expectations due to its staff (from reception and restaurant staff to the hotel supervisor). We felt welcomed from check-in to check-out. The staff was trying to accomodate all our needs(early check-in, guidance regarding the city etc). We've appreciated the café with the pool at the ground floor and the one at the last floor. Both were in very good condition. The breakfast was typical for Middle East, having a lot of options we could chose from. The room was well maintained, with an amazing view, non-smoking, well cleaned. I'm sharing the pictures with the pool and part of the view from the room.. We wouldn't hesitate to book again when coming back to Kuwait.

The breakfast was very good and the staff was super friendly. There is not much to do in the area but that´s Kuwait :-) Although the rooftop bar was under reconstruction we were allowed to enter the mini - pool.

The main pool was closed because of a reconstruction. It would be nice to say that in advance because the pool was a main reason why we have chosen this hotel. The rooftop pool was very, very small, just for 4 people max and only for a dip, not for swimmimg. But it looks soooo big on the picture :-)

My special thanks go to Ahmed Abdel Aleem the receptionist who has done all efforts to make my stay comfortable, helping in every details even the dry clean from outside. The property exceeded my expectations,very good price quality,room good size ,comfortable,clean with nice sea view and morning sunlight…bathroom good size with strong water pressure ..
