We give this a 5 star rating mainly because of the front desk manager Sai. He is the friendliest, most helpful kind person you could ever want to meet and has phenomenal customer service & people skills. He makes you feel like your family and that this is your home away from home. He truly gives a white glove service and is available for all your needs 24/7 and speaks excellent English. Nothing to complain about.

・It was very conveniently located near the night market, morning market, and currency exchange. ・If there was a problem, the staff responded immediately. ・The air conditioning worked well and it was easy to spend time. ・The rooms were clean and comfortable. ・The reception area was built so that we could see all the rooms from the reception desk, so we were able to contact them immediately if we had any questions and felt safe. ・The water pressure in the shower was fine and the hot water came out quickly.

・The key that locks from the inside was made a bit insecurely and uneasily.It was also a little difficult to lock the door from the outside. ・The safety deposit box in the room seemed to be broken and could not be used.

Loved this place. I will stay here again. Everything was great. Shower had consistent hot water and excellent pressure. Young man at the desk is so helpful and speaks excellent english. I was amazed at the big breakfast menu with various choices, all very tasty. Great location right by night and day markets and river restaurants but down an alley so it's very quiet. There is a little wooden sign at the end of the alley on the main street

This is a lovely, well-kept, and well-run property. The architecture is also lovely. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was nothing wrong with the property itself except its location. It's located down a dark alley that leads from the main street. That said, it was only footsteps from both the night market and the day market. Step outside and turn right on the alleyway, walk about a hundred feet to the day market. Turn right at the alleyway and walk about a hundred feet to the night market.

Property is not located on the main street but down a narrow dark alley. This was not clear in the description.

Great place, located in central area in a quite road, very close to the Mekong river and night market. The owners are a sweet couple, and they're always happy to assist and share great tips (where's the best exchange rate to change your money, great prices for bike rental, how to get to places, etc.). The rooms are tidy and clean, they look even better in reality. Highly recommended.

Nothing not to like. Superb place.

Marvelous small guesthouse steps from the morning and night markets, Mekong river, temples, and more. We reserved for two nights and stayed all four nights of our trip to Luang Prabang. The room was very nice with great water pressure, both hot and true cold water (a real bonus in Southeast Asia). The staff were very nice, the young man managing is multi-lingual and happy to help with anything needed.

Just a note, not a dislike. Be aware the guesthouse is 70 meters or so down a side alley that is too narrow for cars. The alley is paved with brick so it was no problem at all for wheeled cases. However I’m confident that if you need help with luggage arrangements can be easily made.

Location hard to beat, between morning and night markets. The manager was fabulous, so lovely and helpful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Even though so close to markets was down quiet laneway so very quiet at night.

Be better if door to bathroom area. There is a door to toilet and shower but sink area in open. Meant you had to change in shower area for privacy. Some rooms lack a bit of privacy. Rooms on 2nd level better, particularly those with balcony.

The location is very good,very near the night market. The room is very spacious so you don't feel cramped.

Hot water system, seems the hotel uses central hot water system, so when there is a lot of hot water usage ,the hot water will alternate between hot and cold. Can you imagine taking a hot shower and suddenly it changes to a very cold water ?

Very close to morning/night market, Alms. The festival of lights was on so that was an added bonus. Restaurants within walking distance. Sai was above and beyond helpful. Nothing we asked was any trouble. He organised tuk tuk for us and our bus to Laung Prabang. Sai is an asset to the owner of the company. Thank you so much for a great stay!

Great location, facilities and staff. Everything was as advertised on booking.com English speaking front desk legend, your new best friend Lee. He's helpful and resourceful. We stayed in room 008, first floor with balcony. Facilities were good, room was very comfortable. Courtesy bottles of water every day (ikea style 750ml transparent bottles). Breakfast was always solid and reliable (we had banana pancakes, ramen and fruit and yogurt, different smoothies. Self service hot coffee/tea) We stayed 3 nights, wanted to extend a couple of more days, but this property is fully booked!! You have a sneak peak at the mountain from here (balcony from room 9). Very close to night markets, but without the noise. Lee arranged our train tickets and transports, very handy as previously mentioned. Bathroom facilities in great shape. Delightful shower. A/C was powerful and silent. Wooden floors and ground to ceiling glass doors to your room. Heavy curtains for privacy and keeping the heat out if not using the A/C. If you're into ruining Monks' breakfast between 5:30-6:00am, lucky you: just walk out go left out the cozy alley 10-15mts to the main road and you will see them there. There's space to park your rented bikes or use the ines provided by the property. Note that QUEEN'S is not located on the main road, but on a cozy side alley. You can bike/scooter your way in if you like. Can't imagine how to park a rented park near this property. Next time in Luang Prabang, we will make sure to stay here at least a whole week. Plenty of things to do and see.
