The location was great. All the hotspots were within 300 meter radius. But the extra bonus was a village-feel pathway so narrow it could not be used by motorised vehicles but only by pedestrians. all the flowering plants hanging over oneself. I had good luck to be placed on the second floor. corner room, the best possible one they have. Nice intimate views around from there. Tables with chairs outside the room, there on the second floor, on the balcony, to sit, read or drink 24/7. The best of all: me, one of the grand daddies of travellers (62,5 years of age) managed to commit the cardinal sin of leaving my CC in the local ATM. The manager mister took care of that and on Monday whisked me to the bank office in question, where they spent about 8 seconds checking my CC, passport and the ATM receipt I had magically managed to find at the ATM, 45 minutes post factum. The superb riverfront is not 45 minutes but 45 seconds from this hotel. The best mangoes at breakfast so far, after one week in the region, late Nov.

Do I really need to waste my time trying to imagine something that does not exist???

The location is really close to the night market. The woman who runs it is very welcoming and accommodating, I would often get up late for breakfast and she would make it for me anyways. It has a family feel. The rooms are really good value for the money and they usually give you the nicest option they have available instead of whatever you booked. Would recommend for anyone looking for a simple, cheap, and private room with breakfast.

They offer to clean your room everyday which is really nice but the bathroom could use a deep clean.

The woman working on the front desk was lovely and helped us with everything we needed while staying here, even the bullet train tickets which where very confusing to try and do online, washing service was cheap and breakfast in the morning was tasty

The only problem we had here was that the rooms are quite outdated and abit dirty, this was not the cleaners fault though, because they did the best they could and made sure our sheets where clean and towels where changed regularly, it’s more the rooms in general could do with a lick of paint and a makeover

Super friendly woman who runs the place and can help with scooter rentals, bus tickets etc. It's a little out of date but very clean, it's what you'd expect for this price! The place is located right by the food market and while it's a maybe 15-20 minute walk to the other side of old town, I really liked the location and it was very quiet. Wifi also worked great and free breakfast was a big plus!

The beds were a bit harder than I like. Like previous reviewers said, the rooms are pretty dark. It's possible to open the window panes but then you're letting in all the noise from the outside, plus I struggled to close the panes again once I opened them.

Comfy beds, hot showers, nice AC, breakfast was good and staff were really nice.

Shower holder was broken so had to hold the shower. Ridiculously overpriced! We paid $92 for 2 nights, the most expensive place we've ever stayed in our year of travel. But it was the first weekend of Luna New Year in high season and everywhere was fully booked so guess they could charge what they want - bare in mind the price changes by the hour.

This house is located in a quiet neighborhood in narrow alleys, which gave the place complete calm at night, away from the noise of cars and the disturbance of motorcycles. At first I booked for only one day, the owner of the house thought the Vietnamese lady...she was really wonderful..I extended the stay to two or three days. These days here...she is a truly wonderful lady in every sense of the word. She was very welcoming and her smile was amazing.. She caters to all your needs.. You feel as if you are with your family.. The house was very clean, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the wifi was fast, what can I say, everything was perfect.

I think the owner of this house is a Vietnamese lady. The house is very clean. The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Also, the Wi-Fi is fast. You can rent a bike from here and change the currency. Everything is fine.. Of course this house is my favorite choice for the next trip. I will not hesitate to book here. I feel like I am at home. really it,s my family, the Vietnamese lady was very wonderful and helpful with anything you wanted. She speaks English fluently. I am really happy in this house.😘😘

The host is incredible - she helped us organise our visit to “The Living Land”, booking train tickets and transport to the station. The room was quite spacious, with a working AC, and private bathroom. Surprisingly, the monks walk along the neighbouring street during the almsgiving, and you would be able to see them while there are not that many tourists already.

Highly recommend Nocknoy Lanexang Guest House! The lady owner of the the guesthouse was so friendly and helpful. She always went out of her way to make us comfortable and answer any of our questions. She always had a big smile on her face when we spoke to her and made us feel very welcome. She helped arrange everything for us including tours, transport and scooter hire. The location is excellent too and we were happy with our room. On another note, one thing to keep in mind about scooter hire in Laos is that they ask to hold your passport while you rent the scooter. My partner and I will never be comfortable with this, but the only reason we went ahead with it was because of how much we trusted the lady owner. She kept the passport safe and secure until we returned with the bike in the evening. We heard this is quite common in Laos, and if you are a traveller that isn’t ok with parting ways with your passport then hiring a scooter might be difficult. My only suggestion with this would be to only part ways with your passport to the owner of your accomodation (if you feel like you can trust them).

The location was perfect, just a few meters from the night market. Phuong was an exceptional ans caring host! My boyfriend was sick and she was worried about him, giving me advices, showing me where the pharmacy was, etc. The room was big, AC worked great, warm water for shower. Came with soap, shampoo, towels. At some point there was construction and it was pretty loud but I think it's everywhere in Luang Prabang. BUT Phuong nicely offertes us to switch rooms to the quieter side so it was perfect. Thank you for the stay :)
