Good guesthouse. I rented a family room, and it was very spacious. The staff arranged a scooter for me. Breakfast is served in the restaurant opposite the guesthouse. The location is good, close to the market and the Mekong River.

Only one staff member speaks English, and he wasn't always available. No soundproofing; there is a lot of noise during the day starting from the morning. If you need a quieter place, it's better to consider guesthouses that aren’t on the main street but a bit further back. The room was a bit dark. There’s no balcony, but there is a shared terrace. Breakfast is very basic and small; you can choose fried eggs with bread, boiled eggs with bread, scrambled eggs with bread, or one of the local soups.

It is very clean, perfect location! It is right next to the Mankong river and lots of restaurants with fair prices nearby. The owner speaks perfect English and Chinese, and he is trying his best to maintain this hotel. Breakfast was ok, but you get the awesome view during the breakfast. They have a beautiful little yard where you can sit and have a cup of coffee and tea and relax. They offer free coffee and tea all day, which is very nice!

The shower isn’t too hot, the water pressure is not strong enough. If you want hot water, you have to turn the water pretty small to be able to get hot water. It is ok in summer, but during December, it was a big problem for me. The bed isn’t too comfortable, my bed was a bit damaged, and my friend’s bed is in a better situation. I didn’t sleep the best in the evening but I would accept it since it is not too expensive for all the services they provided.

Very close to the night market and temples. Lots of places to eat.The mekong is just across the street where you eat your breakfast.Great place to eat and enjoy the sunset. You are at walking distance to the main morning street market and food and night market .They can order a taxi for the airport. The room is a bit small but the aircon was great. It s a cosy place , not busy like big hotels. If you want to do the monks alms at 5.30am , it is just 2mn away. I will definitely come back. The reception staff speak Chinese, English.They are very kind and polite.

The exchange rate used when paying in kip was above the normal exchange rate. When asking for a reason of using this rate the manager explained that they have charges to exchange, which we didn't understand as we paid in kip...

location was directly across the road from the Mekong, the room was pleasant enough and clean, I was asked every day if I needed the room cleaned. staff were very nice and arranged a scooter for me although there was some confusion when I returned it, but this was quickly resolved as I had kept the paperwork. Lovely hotel and I would stay again

The room was great

Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I initially had issues with the AC, but they helped me with that. Overall, just a very warm atmosphere. Room was plenty comfortable, and I didn't feel like I was uncomfortable or noticing excessive stains/dirtiness.

N/A I feel like for the price, it was well worth it and did what it was supposed to do: provide a place for me to sleep and had a decently comfy environment for some TV watching at night.

The staff at Chidlatda (Dear Villa) were absolutely amazing. The man on reception was insanely helpful and helped print off a copy of our passports and got us mopeds to hire. We checked in easily and the room was very comfortable with the air con! The shower was hot all the time and the bed was comfy!! We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend it to anyone!

Small thing - more of a recommendation, there is no bedside light with would have been nice to read next to before bed! But not really any issue! Also something in the bathroom (maybe the sink) was a bit leaky. Still not really an issue at all. Would stay again despite this.

The property was in a great location and was comfortable and clean. All facilities worked well and we had a very comfortable stay. The staff spoke great English and went above and beyond to help with information and anything we needed. He also arranged for us to get the bus to Dien Bien Phu (Vietnam) with his brother and even sorted us to stay at his brothers hotel where the bus left from the night before. Thanks for a great stay and all of your help with onward travel.

The location couldn't have been better. You are a short walk to the morning and night markets, mt. phousi, and main temples. Breakfast is included and across the street along the Mekong, a great way to start each morning.

Be prepared for small rooms not an issue for us but if you have a lot of luggage there's not much space for it.

Great little guesthouse with super nice rooms, helpful staff and awesome location. It felt very privete, since it was a stair up from the busy street. Would have loved to stayed longer!

Only thing was that it said on Booking that breakfast was included, but because of the recent move of the hotel, they couldn't arrange breakfast. However they ran to a shop nearby to get us coffee, and they printed our visas for Cambodia for us for free, so that totally made up for it! :)
