The TV set does not work efficiently,it goes off and on intermittently and international channel is only one,BBC. Additionally,the penthouse open lounge is not free for guests in the evening.

The view is very nice. Convenient location. The staff are great, kind and extremely helpful. A good price relative to the rest of Beirut. A great hotel if you are the type that wants to travel around the city and spends a lot of their time outside.

The building is a bit old, so the facilities are not the best. It is still good, but not ideal. For example the wifi sometimes had some issues. No pool or gym. However this wasn't a particular issue for me because I didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel. So it is not the best option if you want a resort type of hotel where you spend a lot of time there, but overall still a great hotel. Highly recommend.

The location. It's very close to downtown, with many restaurants. A very lively neighborhood The staff were very polite and helpful by all means Beautiful views of the Mediterranean from the balcony. The lounge where we get our breakfast is on the 7th floor with gorgeous views in the morning. The room and bathroom were clean. It needs renovation, but it wasn't a big issue

Even though this particular issue is not caused by the hotel, but it's the hotel's problem. Across the street there is a restaurant that plays terribly loud music till late at night. I stayed on the 6th floor, and still the noise was too loud at night. If you're planning to stay up late during your stay, then you may even enjoy it, but if you're on a business trip like me and need a good sleep then this is something you need to consider The other thing is the TV system. It's terribly outdated, with very small screen and limited choice of channels. One last thing. The AC thermostat does not work. Even though I lowered the fan to the minimum I still had to cover with a heavy blanket to stay warm. Of course if you turn it off it will become terribly hot in the summer

The Breakfast is so delicious , the staff are so kind and cooperative and responds to any comment or request very quickly, location is in the middle of everything , cafe, restaurants , and transportation ,the view i can't tell anything and describe how beautiful is , you should go and be one of the guests in this fabulous hotel .

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The view from my room was fabulous AND I had a balcony. The breakfast is delicious and served on the roof which has a BEAUTIFUL sea view.

Smoking - all rooms are smoking rooms. BUT I had asked and had confirmed to me that I had a non-smoking room. When I asked about this they offered to change my room but when I viewed the other rooms they were all the same and smelled of years of smoke. The answer to me when I asked was, 'the last guest who was here for 3 days did not smoke'. I counted 9 ashtrays in the room. The balcony doors were opened and that helped but the smell is in the carpet and furniture.

The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with comfortable and well-appointed rooms that provided a relaxing and enjoyable stay. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the room, from the cozy bedding to the sleek and modern amenities. I truly felt pampered during my time there. One of the standout features of this hotel is undoubtedly the staff. The team at Bayview hotel went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met and that I had a memorable stay. They were always available to answer any questions I had and provided excellent recommendations for local attractions and dining options.

Location, restaurant view 👍🏻,staff (thanks to Mr. Omar for the very fast check in and his kindness👍🏻), near major amenities (money exchange, supermarkets, pharmacy, coffee shops, restaurants especially the Indian restaurant near the hotel), near Zaitonah Bay and Beirut bay.👍🏻

The bed and it’s location opposite to the door, sharing the balcony with neighbors. 😞

Breakfast has amazing view, but the food choice is very limited and same every day. We stayed for 6 days and this was a big problem for us. I would kindly recommend to add variety and some healthier options like avocado, tuna, salmon, vegetables, granola, plant based milk etc. Room sea view is great but windows are dirty so it is not a full experience. Rooms need maintenance and deep cleaning

The location of the hotel was great, close to restaurants, shops, markets, and with a lovely sea view. The breakfast restaurant had an amazing view too. The beds and pillows were excellent, super comfortable and cozy. The staff were all very helpful and kind. The room was spacious and the sea view was excellent. Kettles, slippers, and all were provided on request!

The cleanliness of the toilets could be improved, as well as the curtains and towels. Overall it was clean and nice but more detail needed as dirt in toilet was still clear. Also, the WIFI was absolutely terrible. The worst we have experienced. You need to connect via username and password for only 72 hours, but it kept disconnecting as it had 4 networks with varying connectivity, and the username/password only worked for one.
