I like location, service, great staff, special thanks to Mr. Mahmoud & Mr. Maher.

The room was comfortable, the view incredible, and the staff exceptional. They were so attentive and helpful, and went above and beyond what was expected. The hotel is perfectly located. It is right across the street from the American University of Beirut, and there are restaurants and grocery stores just down stairs. There is a good gym (with trainers) on the second floor, and a pool on the fifth (though it was closed when I was staying; apparently, it wasn't the season yet). The internet worked great and I was able to have online work meetings at any time of the day. I would highly recommend staying here, and I would definitely return on my next trip to Beirut.

Hotel Review: 1866 Court & Suites I recently had the pleasure of staying at 1866 Court & Suites, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The location is absolutely perfect, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The hotel itself is impeccably clean, with a stunning view & all amenities were available in the room. What truly stood out to me was the exceptional customer service & room service, The staff, particularly Maher and Mahmoud, were incredibly helpful and responsive. Every time we needed assistance, they delivered instantly with a smile. Their excellent communication made our experience even more enjoyable. Overall, 1866 Court & Suites exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again in the future! Thank you to all.

They advertised on Booking.com that Molton Brown soap and shampoo would be provided, but this was not the case. I booked two types of rooms, and neither had these products. When I raised the issue, the hotel stated that Molton Brown amenities are only available in the suites—despite their listing suggesting otherwise. This felt misleading and unfair. Additionally, some of the housekeeping staff did not meet expected standards.

1866 provides to its clients exceptional amenities: parking spots, access to a pool and to a wonderful gym with its classes! The location is really suitable especially for students like me who have to attend AUB university as it’s facing the hotel. The staff are amazing, always ensuring their customer’s wellbeing and fulfilling their needs! Finally, I highly recommend this hotel for short and long term stays and will surely be back soon!

I have nothing inconvenient to say about the property. It is a safe place with all the services you need from the comfort of your room!

Room as shown in the advertisement pics, which is not always the case. View from the room even better than the photos. Size is adequate and bed is comfy. Staff were very helpful at all times.

Access to the main lobby/reception is a bit unpractical from Makhoul Street as stairs are in the way. Entrance from Bliss is also not practical because of the mall shops and escalator not working.

How serviced it is, there is a gym, barber, ladies salon and plenty of restaurants and super markets around plus its super safe area near AUB.

Noise is horrible! We were on the 8th floor and we would be up from 6/7 am from people honking and not able to sleep at night from people yelling down the street. Something has to be done with the glass doors

A view of the sea from those rooms will leave your mouth wide open. Unbeatable sights of snow capped mountains, sounds of the bustling Beirut streets and laughter of the AUB students until the early hours of the morning. Beirut despite the volatility has character like no other city in the world and the hotel is an exceptional location.

Towels, carpets and the television all need to be changed. It’s time a small investment that will only drive value to the hotel.

Truly worth it just for the amazing view straight out of bed. Probably one of the best views in Beirut. The room was very clean and well equipped, staff professional and patient and I really liked the fact that you had access to a proper gym, not just a stuffy small room that you usually find in hotels.

The pool was still closed in may, even if temperatures allowed for it to be open. It could have been stated before booking more clearly.
