What I liked (loved) most about this beautiful property was the wonderful staff before anything else. Sarah, Ousama, Sally, Cinderella and Ali displayed world-class customer service and truly made our stay comfortable given the family health circumstances that we were dealing with during our 2-week stay. The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive for whatever we needed and above all they all were showing up to work with a big smile on their face even though all of them and their families lived in areas that were being bombed daily — in a sense they risked their lives driving to work every day, worried about their families and homes yet never wavered from their commitment to a 5-star customer service. The property itself is clean, new and conveniently located in the middle of Beirut.

There aren’t many things that I didn’t like about the property besides the parking situation but honestly that is a problem in almost every building in Beirut. The other and probably only issues is I wish that smoking is completely banned on premises. Even though there are designated floors for the smoking rooms, you can smell it sometimes in the hallways or by the windows, but again smoking rooms are very common in Lebanon and is not exclusive to this hotel.

Staff were excellent, they helped on a number of things I needed including facilitating dollar conversion (thank you, Sara), and making an important international call (thank you, Joelle), although the international rate was expensive at $2.2/minute. Location is superb, plenty of places to eat and shop nearby. Room was clean, looked like it had been refurbished recently, and the WiFi in the room was great. I didn’t avail of the breakfast but it looked to be of a high standard, and good value.

The pool was so small.

The staff is what makes Royal Tulip. Osama, Samir and Cinderella I will mention again, they are all supportive of whatever is needed throughout the trip.On this occasion I was unwell, Osama was incredibly thoughtful, I advise people to return to Beirut it’s an amazing place and make your stay at royal tulip

Had a great stay at Royal Tulip. The room was very comfortable, room service was kind and punctual. Price was very reasonable for the position and service offered. Staff was very kind and always supportive. Would choose it again.

Please improve the free wi-fi - it works, but it is slow and unstable.

Overall it was brilliant and met all of our needs. Room decor minimalist and modern, very comfortable and spacious (though I think not all rooms are the same layout). Staff lovely.

Didn’t like the use of disposable cups in the room for coffee. Additional coffee/tea would have been great. WiFi sometimes poor.

Very friendly staff. AC very good when it works. Comfy bed. Nice safe neighborhood. They upgraded me to a lovely corner room with nice views of Beirut.

When there’s a power outage, the AC turns off and has to be manually turned back on.

The oustading and friendly staff and location. All the staff have this causal, friendly but professional attitude which makes you feel welcome and at home. To name a few few sally, Cinderella, Sarah , Samer , the night time manager , and all the restaurant/ bar.

Maybe additional space and facilities for workouts using floor mats (non machine or weights based).
