Great location in the city centre.

Elevator was out of order from days and there was an issue with a hot water.

I think it's the best choice in terms of location and comfort. The staff is very nice and helpful, the breakfast is good (just regular breakfast - with options available) and you're literally in the city centre, everything is within walkable distance. The room was quite big and quiet (with the occasional noises from the hallway). Parking is also available and convenient.

There's some room for improvement in terms of hospitality (maybe add more than 2 coffee pods for an entire stay, and the baby highchair in the breakfast area has seen better and cleaner days), but nothing major.

It was a good hotel. The lady of the night shift(she wore glasses)was very friendly and did her best to smoothly check us in. Also she helped us find a near by fastfood (it was 02:00 am). Because of her friendly service, i am giving this review. The room was clean and very comfortable.

When i went for the payment, they told me that either i will pay with card or in Denar (an information that wasn't neither in booking, neither when i spoke with them on the phone, neither was inoformed on check in). And i had only euro with me (and the exchange rate was like half price, which i think is too much). It is normal to have a lower rate exchange, and it is totally another thing to exchange at half rate. Also, i would recommend better offer a dental kit than espresso in room amenities.

The staff is really lovely and helpful. Hotel is small and cosy, yet modern. Location is excellent (Ca. 3 Min walk to central square + next to a taxi rank), yet the Hotel is well sound proofed. Very good beds and a pillow selection is very good (my favorite are the feather pillows).

The breakfast room is a bit gloomy and the breakfast did not include much for special diets. Also, dishes that were supposed to be warm, were quite cold (fried eggs) and again, dishes that were suoopdednto be cold were room temperature (yougurt and juice). The bread selection was quite poor). However, there were cheeses and cold cuts and fruit and cereal, so you can fill your tummy.

The location was great - the breakfast was fine as was the room. We booked one with a balcony with a view down to the main square. The staff were super-helpful and the minibar was at 'normal' prices (not the usual over-charged nonsense). A great place to stay if you want to explore Skopje from the centre outwards.

Nothing, to be honest. We had a fine time. And they safely stored our bags when we told them we had a bus back to Sofia after checkout time in the mid-afternoon. All very close to Skopje's museums, galleries and the Albanian charsija.

We wished to stay 3 nights in Skopje and chose the Alexander Square Boutique hotel based on its location, ease of driving access, price and car parking - we certainly chose well, for we doubt we could have found a better hotel. This hotel is ideally suited to explore on foot the old centre of Skopje, and particularly the old bazaar. The reception staff were excellent throughout our stay Our room was spacious and well appointed - the bed was very large and very comfortable. The bathroom was exquisitely fitted out. Breakfast was taken in the underground cellar, which was well appointed. The breakfast was a running buffet with Western and local tastes all being catered for, including a very wide range of deserts and fruits - well done! The breakfast room can also be used as a restaurant in the evenings, but the hotel normally limits this use to special events as it cannot complete with the extensive range of restaurants available around the adjacent Macedonia Square (and its impressive Alexander the Great statue). We used a variety of restaurants each night - the nearby Star Ocean Chinese restaurant (and we can confirm that the very negative online reviews for this restaurant are totally correct - be aware!), a Turkish street restaurant in the old Bazaar and an up-market restaurant in Macedonia Square itself. We recommend this hotel to travellers wishing to stay in Skopje.

Nothing of any note - any small anomalies on the first evening were quickly sorted out by the reception and house-keeping staffs - well done again.

Fabulous location, perfect for walking to all the main attractions. Very helpful friendly staff. The bedroom was a good size, lovely bathroom and everything very clean. There was a mini bar, tea/coffee making facilities, a couple of bottles of water and a safe provided. The breakfast was good with plenty of options. Very efficient air conditioning.

Specifically upgraded to a superior room for a super-king bed which was very comfortable, but the bedding (top sheet and blanket) was too small, length and width ways, so did not sleep well at all. Although room booked for two people, an extra temporary bed was made up which made the room very cluttered. Tea bags and milk never replenished by housekeeping, although supplies available from reception. Terrible coffee at breakfast.

A perfect 2 days stay, in a very comfortable room. Central AC worked just fine, there was an electric kettle in the room, with coffee and tea available. Complimentary bottled water. Safe guarded parking for my motorcycle on the back. Great location to walk to the bazaar, old city, bridge, museums, etc. Very kind and helpfull staff, and elevator in the building. Very good breakfast, with great variety.

Hotel u centru. Ima mogucnost parkinga. Sobe velike, krevet udoban. Cisto. Доручак квалитетан разноврстан. Hotel in the center. It has the possibility of parking. The rooms are big, the bed is comfortable. Clean. High-quality and varied breakfast.

The staff is friendly and helpful. They supported us in every way. The breakfast buffet has sufficient variety, and I can say the taste is good. The location is right in the center. The sound insulation is very good; even though there were construction machines working outside, not the slightest sound can be heard from outside.

The pillows are very thin, like paper. Higher quality pillows could have been used.
