Spacious bedroom! With bath tub

Breakfast not really appetizing. Quite expensive for what I paid for

Situated directly on the beach, the location is unbeatable, with the bonus of being on a high floor for even more stunning vistas. The breakfast exceeded expectations, offering various delicious options to start your day right. To top it all off, the nightly fire show adds a unique and memorable touch to the stay, creating an atmosphere of excitement and wonder.

While the stay was enjoyable overall, there were a few areas that could use improvement. The room's interior design felt a bit dated and could benefit from a refresh to match the otherwise excellent amenities. A small inconvenience was the need to request sunbeds and personally manage carrying them to and from the beach, which detracted slightly from the seamless experience expected. The internet connection, though functional, could have been faster to cater to modern connectivity needs. Additionally, the towels provided were a bit on the thinner side, which may not align with the preferences of guests who appreciate a more plush and luxurious feel.

The facilities are very nice and the rooms are very spacious and comfortable. They have beach access just behind the hotel. It was a pleasant stay and family friendly. Most of the tourist spots are nearby but you have to use a cab. Overall highly recommended for family trips. The breakfast was great and I really enjoyed the selections offered.

It's a little far from George Town and if you are not renting a bike or car it is very expensive to have frequent trips to the town by Grab. Suggestion is rent a bike or car from George Town to have ease of access.

The ocean and beach view from this hotel was amazing. We enjoyed it so much and that's why we stayed 6 days here. The beds comfortable. The pool was lovely. Breakfast ok with attentive efficient staff.

Hotel is a little run down, but the view and beach side position compensated for this. The Laguna restaurant downstairs on the beach has loud music till midnight every night which can be heard while trying to sleep

This hotel have been my fav hotel since childhood. I don't expect more as it is an old hotel. The room, balcony & toilet are clean. there are no unpleasant smell at all. spacious room,balcony, beautiful partial sea view too. tv is working. breakfast is not that bad. basic breakfast & the staff will top up the food.I had a good meal. I hope the hotel will be upgraded in the future. worth the price. My hubby and I are happy to stay here again..

No small towel provided in the bathroom. the shower, cold water handle is broken so the water is slow. only the hot water is working. the kettle need to be manually shut off or the water will spill all over the place. the kettle also need to be wash twice bec is a bit dirty inside. Don't put yr room card near yr bank card bec the door won't open and u need to go to receptionist again..

The 2 deluxe bedroom is nice, comfy n spacious.Can enjoy seaview at the spacious balcony.There are 2 toilets .There is a sitting place for us to relax n a small kitchen.The breakfast is good n tasty.Nasi lemak sambal is nice n also the scramble eggs with baked beans.The staff reserved parking on site because my brother is handicapped (leg amputee.)Thumbs up!!!

The hallway is dim n spooky.My room is right at the end so long walking for us.The furniture in our room is old.The balcony railing needs to be painted to look nice.The room doesn't smell nice.

Spacious rooms, excellent view (5mins walking distance to the beach!) & nice pool. Kids loved it!

Expected the breakfast for a hotel of this stature to taste better, but alas..the foods prepared were average & below expectation.

Wonderful top floor room with a stunning view of the sea and mountains - facing Flamingo. Loved having a daily bath! Being beachfront was a blessing. The staff were great - housekeeping crew were so friendly and attentive. Reception staff helped us call Grabs and a private driver to Kota Bahru. Restaurant staff were so helpful and friendly. We loved the Vampire fireshow and we saw it 3 times. The Laguna staff were wonderful - especially Herry and Hakim. Live music in the weekends was a great mix of music for all tastes.

Really huge spacious room, wonderful beach bar, and nice swimming pool. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice, i really loved that food. The bed was very very comfortable. After i read many negative comments, this place was a big surprise in the best way.

Unfortunately not everything is perfect, our room was a bit run down, the balcony doors need real power to open or close, we didnt have any hot water, and the safe was unusable. The elevators are quite fast, but sometimes need to wait a lot, because its busy.

Nice big room with a verandah and ocean view. Comfortable bed. Lovely swimming pool. Good restaurants close by. Bath and shower. Tea and coffee making facilities. 24 hr reception.

The pillows were yellow and sweat stained need to be replaced. Just changing a pillowcase is not enough. Water leak through the ceiling from the floor above made the bathroom floor wet. A bit run down. Loud music noise from the bar downstairs ruined the atmosphere around the pool. No sun lounges or comfortable chairs around the pool. Beach is ok but the water is brown and polluted. Not safe to swim as there were jellyfish.
