Location: The homestay is conveniently located right next to KSL City Mall—just a one-minute walk away. The mall offers a wide variety of eateries and massage shops, making it a great place to relax and enjoy local offerings. A highlight of our stay was the night market (pasar malam), which takes place just in front of the homestay. It was one of the most vibrant and interesting night markets I’ve ever visited. Damage Deposit: Initially, the online damage deposit felt a bit suspicious—almost like a potential scam. However, as stated on the Booking.com page, the deposit was indeed refunded within a few hours after our checkout, just as promised. This was reassuring and appreciated.

The location is next to KSL City Mall, with sheltered access to the mall (after you get the tap card). The apartment is comfortable, well-lit and generally clean. Good WiFi and smart TV. Came equipped with kitchen but did not use it (aside from the fridge and water boiler). The bathroom came with the shower curtain and a 2-in-1 shampoo/soap is provided. All in all, very value for money.

The electric stove is chipped on one end (might need to replace in case others want to use it). Although the bathroom came with shower curtain, water still leaks out to the floor, might want to provide floor mats. The Aircon remote control display has some issues, unable to see the temperature (Aircon works fine, just the remote control display has issues). The ceiling fan is a bit low (taller people will have to be careful) Generally clean but found a white teeth floss stick on one of the beds (probably missed out by the cleaners).

The bed and mattresses were clean and so are the bed sheets. First thing I normally check for in a room. The toilet was spick and span and the pantry was usable. We were there for one night so did not have a chance to use the kitchen but I guess it was useful to have. Overall, very cosy for a family of 4. The location was also convenient to go from the checkpoint and back.

The corridors were quite dimly lit and the fact that some units attracted unsavoury characters but I guess it is unavoidable since it is an open system. We just minded our own business.

The location was great! Super convenient to shop around, finding food at KSL was a breeze. The aircon was great too, cold and important it works.

Firstly, 10 mins after checking in we spotted a cockroach roaming around the kitchen. Shortly after, a lizard. And sadly again, another cockroach appear at the living room area. It was quite disturbing and disappointing as we wanted to relax but had to anxiously try our best to “kill” the pests. Also, the master bedroom toilet ceiling was scary. It wasn’t completed. We could see the wirings, everything was out in open. I don’t think it’s generally safe.

The bedrooms were very cozy, there were extra bedding n pillows..the bath tub was very nice too..the house is overall clean, aircond n heater worked just fine..the swimming pool was spacious n the rules were not too strict..there's a mall right next to the apartment building, very convenient..the host was friendly n very helpful..

The streets were packed with hawker stalls during the night but they're not halal..there's only one halal restaurant in front of the apartment building..the others were located a bit far from the building..the road was busy n quite jammed during the day n early in the night..there's also no prayer mat provided from the host even though we already requested for it..but its no big deal, just remember to bring your own if u come here..

The dinning chair is not cushion. Haha purposely look for non cushion chair due to hygiene purpose. If the sofa is wooden type or just plastic chair with backrest even better. Very simple room to have a short stay.

Mostly about the toilet. There is no shower curtain when shower the whole floor end up with water, no indication of hot or cold water is which direction end up turn left and right. and only have shower soap no shampoo. The fridge have a plate that previous customer have left inside. Show that the fridge was not clean/checked.

One of the dining chair is faulty and found behind a see through door at the balcony. Will be good to replace it as only left with 1 functional chair. Bed a little on the soft side, can consider getting firmer bed. To remove the bath tub as quite worn out. Good view feom balcony. Overall, the apartments is well maintain on the cleaniness. Thank you!

The place is clean and quiet. The room smells fresh. Good view from the balcony. Easy access to many shopping amenities.

The number lock is too small and faded. Toilet doesn't come with toiletries. The shower is not fully functional. The curb outside the main door posed a safety hazard, especially with children. Can't get into Tower B main glass door during check in.....got to wait for someone to open.

The location is great, high level, just next to KSL with lots of eateries around. The apartment is brightly lit with natural lights, clean and comfortable. Contains all necessary utensils. Comes with a smart TV. The owner also changed the air-conditioner which works well. Check-in was fuss-free and quick.

No shower curtain so the floor gets wet but there's an anti-slip mat. The base of one of the single bed was faulty and had informed the owner abt it. Hopefully that will be changed in my next visit.

it is the best accommodation i ever stay.Super super clean ,clean beds ,clean toilets .No ants at all ,very impress everything is properly furnished as per description.Definitely i will choose them again for my next trip.Instructions given is very clear & precise with detailed pictures attached.All was smooth.Thank you Summer Homestay for the great stay.
