The Summer View is a basic budget hotel delivering exceptional value for the cost. It is situated in Brickfields, near to KL Sentral, giving access to transportation for KL and all of Malaysia. The area is populated with an unbelievable number restaurants and hawker stalls so food is always available.

Nothing! If you understand that is a hotel that is providing basic, safe accommodations, not a five star resort, you will enjoy your stay. The staff are beyond helpful and friendly.

Best hotel in the area if you don't want to spend stupid money on Marriott, Ascot, Meridien etc.. I looked at all comparables in the area and luckily I did. All the others that matched the price had reviews regarding no windows, bugs, stuff broken etc. And when I went around the area all the other comparables were super busy, run down and you could just see the difference to this one. If you ever need to stay near central station choose this hotel. It's only ten minute (maybe less) walk away from the station and comparable with a European four star hotel all day long. All the staff were also super friendly and in comparison to others, this one was cleaned on a daily (including towel change, bedding etc). Super satisfied and highly recommended

If you choose to be near central station do pay the extra for this hotel or further away as the area around the station (little India I think it's called) is packed and super busy. I am super glad I did my research and it didn't disappoint

the location was in the heart of little india but it is very close to the KL Sentral so it was easy to get around. The staff was 24hrs, friendly and the room had pretty much everything you would need apart from the hair dryer (which you will need to remember to grab from the reception). The hotel is although old but it is spacious, clean and confortable. I would still stay there again.

The hotel doesnt have a designated area for Grab/car to park outside of the hotel (but this was a minor issue).

Convenient if you need to catch an early train from KL Sentral. It’s just a 15-min walk, and I found that it’s easier to walk there through NU shopping center. The area on the way from KL Sentral felt safe late in the evening, there were still people in the outdoor cafes after 11 pm. Reception is open 24 h, late check in wasn’t a problem. Spacious room, clean. Overall, it was fine and I stayed here twice for 1 night.

The hotel is by a busy road, there is some traffic noise but not too bad (I was able to sleep well). No mini fridge. Shower is fixed to the wall. They ask for a 100 rm cash deposit, but staff accepted Euros instead. The air conditioner is rather loud, I switched it off for the night.

This is probably the best budget hotel in KL Sentral area. The surroundings were quite lively and noisy but the soundproofing of the room was quite good, I could sleep in peace. One thing that I would like to comment was the exceptional services from the staff. All of the front desk staffs were very accommodating and friendly which made me feel safe. They were also attentive towards the guests.

The location could get a bit unsafe at night; I would recommend to not wander around past 9pm.

Well done, the whole front desk team was fantastic. My appreciation goes to the friendly gentleman at the front desk. He was the same person who checked me in last year during my stay, very courteous and professional. He was training another staff this time while checking me in, but the process was smooth, absolutely no delay. Summer View Hotel: This guy should be promoted and given a significant pay raise, if haven't done so.

I've stayed here several times already. I appreciate the great price for a quiet hotel in such a centralized location. The desk and chair in the room were spacious and comfortable to use, which matters to me as I have a lot of work to do on my laptop. I have stayed at other hotels in the same area, a bit cheaper, but too much in the noisy monorail/busy streets/back alleys zone, and lacking a decent table and chair in the room.

I think HSV is the best choice for the people who often travel Kuala lumpur, for tourists, visitor with family. It’s really the exceptional place to stay, the view from window is stunning, breathtaking. Food is available nearby at low cost, and quality is much better. This place is also called as Little India. My four days stay there was pretty good. Got satisfactory services 24/7.

Good location near KL Central. Great value for money as well and perfect for a quick business trip. The staff at the front desk were helpful and accommodating and made the building feel safe. Check-in and check-out were smooth.

The hotel is advertised as having a restaurant, but I didn't actually see the restaurant open during my stay. The bed was very firm. I could tell some of the furniture and hardware in the room are aging.

It is indeed a very clean hotel. Staff members were very friendly and helpful. We had room key card problem that was resolved immediately. Worth the time and money for its situated very near to KL Central station. We took the monorails and LRT to travel throughout the days.

Probably need to invest on a better quality pillows. The pillows were too soft and it doesn't give much of a good night sleep support. Doable yet could do much better.
