very nice staff who took care of my special needs, Nice cafe, great location, comfortable bed, great showers

there was a ceiling fan on high speed that we couldn't control. the wind from it disturbed my sleep. I was too cold and felt the fan even in the bottom bunk. no privacy curtains on the bed or light.

I liked the rooftop area, spectacular view of KL high-rise lights. Mozzies tho. I liked the flexible check-in time and location I chose close to KL Sentral station, as long as the mall is open it's an easy walk with wheeled luggage. I liked shoes off in bunk room. I liked meeting people, especially the young man I kissed on the rooftop :)

Would have appreciated curtains on the bottom bunk - there was a bit of ambient light thru the door I am sensitive to. Someone turned all the lights on at 5am to check out, and left them on!, a sign to be considerate of that would be great. Shower bathroom was perfunctory but I travel 2star so used to it.

The location is close to KL Sentral. The staff is helpfull. I stayed here many times. I asked for lower bunk bed and they gave me, even it's not exactly right hahhahaa..

They didn't provide towel for Dorm. And in the afternoon, the air condition was turn off. But it's okey. I just back to my room to put my shopping things.

The best aspect of this place is how close it is to NuSentral and KL Sentral stations. You can take a short walk and get anywhere in the city on any line. I booked a private room and it reduced the chance that others would disturb from moving around or being noisy. Luggage storage service was easy and reliable.

Don't expect anything more than the basics. As long as you set your expectations understand: the room lighting is bad, there are no "views", the bed mattress was thin, the rooftop space was run down and not well kept, the shower water is cold, the internet is so/so, and the kitchen sink nook is small and disorganized. You want a budget stay, you will get it here.

The receptionist seemed pretty cool and spoke good English. It's located walking distance from the central station and a mini Hawker Center. The showering was really comfortable, as it was spacious and gave a lot of water. There is a cosy roof terrace to hang out at where from a specific point, you can even see the 2nd biggest building in the world!! The sleeping room offers a lot of space to pack and unpack.

The beds are basically just cheap plain wood frames without curtains, which does the job, but doesn't offer any privacy. There are no locks provided for the lockers.

Have stayed here before when in transit...conveniently close to Sentral for bus to airport. basic but clean affordable hostel. Have only stayed in private room so can't comment on dorms. Lot's of good cheap eats nearby in Brickfields.

Be sure to specify room with window when booking: the cheaper rooms don't have any!

I booked this hostel because of its proximity to KL Sentral and therefore easy connections to the rest of the city and the airport for an early flight. Initially I thought the hostel looked quite stark in terms of the dorm rooms but after my initial thoughts I really liked this hostel. Plenty of hot water to shower and the cafe is a really good community area with the hosts/owner extremely helpful about how to get to various places etc. in fact one night we went on an impromptu tour of the night market together. The cafe has hot and cold water for drinks etc and a fridge for the use of the residents. The Owner is constantly trying to improve his hostel and asking for opinions of guests on what they think. I’m intending to back in KL in May and will definitely stop here and I suspect it would have improved more by then. Definitely value for money and you can’t get a better location for links to The Petronas Towers, Batu caves and the airport links.

The AC was set a little cold for the dorm

For the price you are paying at the location of the hostel, I'd say there's pretty much nothing to be unhappy about. This literally is the BEST place to stay overnight if you are doing an overnight layover in KL when taking trains that stops at KL Central railway station.

I am a soldier so I am just very thankful to be walking on solid hard ground all the time. But the experience may be different for civilians. The showers are not the cleanest, but again as a soldier, having running water is already a blessing.

The vibe was very chill. The cafe downstairs is the perfect place to write post cards or plan the next steps of your trip (both of which I did). Which, by the way, there's a post office just around the corner, super convenient! I'm a solo female and booked the 4 female dorm for 2 nights. The dorm had high ceilings (heat rises) and a big 5-speed fan next to a cooling vent. If you're looking for frigid temperatures, PODs aren't it. But it's cool, and I was comfortable under a blanket. In the dorm, there were decent lockers and a provided pillow/blanket. Plus, a trash can. The facilities were cleaned every day. The shower/bathroom has a little porch with a drying rack. It also has wash basins for hand washing clothes if you have your own soap. The showers are roomy with 4 hooks and a shelf. The toilets are toilets. I think there's a rooftop? I didn't take the elevator all the way up, so I'm not sure if it's open on weekdays or only weekends. Ask the staff! The entrance/ elevator is shared with other businesses in the building. So your key card works on the PODs door on the level you're roomed. Key card for main entrance and physical key for your specific room.

On my second night, an older woman on crutches checked in. I'm sure she made sure the hostel had an elevator for her ease of transport. However, there are steps leading up to the elevator, which I'm sure were hard to navigate and may not be advertised. So, for anyone who's injured or needs a ramp to an elevator, either have someone with you or choose another hostel.
