I liked pretty much everything except one thing which I will mention below. Great thanks to lobby, reception staff, even the waiters are so active in the breakfast

Well, the coffe machine was almost out of service or not working properly during our 9 nights stay which is not acceptable at all for a 5 starts hotel!! I really wonder if the GM was aware of that ? Because if he was not aware then this is a catastrophic .. we never had a good coffe in the morning as we are not Local we do not eat local food, coffe is our breakfast. When I complained to someone he said if you want coffe pay extra and get it from lobby coffe station! . I Complained to others as well but FnB Supervisor or Managers seemed like they do not care

The staff are friendly and accommodating. The bellboy was also great to talk to. THe Curve mall is still a walking distance, so its okay. Location-wise, this place is very near IPC mall also where IKEA is. The bed was very nice, although the hotel is old maybe 15yrs old or so, so expect a more spacious room but older furniture. I would also like to extend my thanks to the front office, for accommodating our special requests!

The hotel is old, there are just some cracks (here and there) esp inside the room, the toilet, etc, and our sink drains very slow, but it is okay. The location, i was not aware that the link to the The Curve and the ice skating rink was not accessible anymore, this is a dissappointment. For the breakfast, the food is okay. There is indian and malay food combination. I suggest that they expand their selection to more western food or other asian food, because some of us dont really eat this malay-indian cuisine.

Dear RCD, I used to stayed with RC such as in Cherating & Seremban.. My previous stayed at Royale Chulan Damansara on 9th December 2024 was great. Unfortunately, the room on 18th April 2025 not that great. The TV is not working and I did lodge report twice via operator but no one from maintenance team came to fix the tv. So disaapointed. Room number 1038 if im not mistaken The good part, Haikal and Front office team did well. Due to no TV, we came down to Camelot...it was fantastic.. super friendly F&B team. I did try their couple of snacks...fast service..good taste. Tasty. During morning, I order room service , also good and very fast. Great F&B team Well done lads ! Regards, Aizzare

Location near MRT and short walking to The Curve. I reserved 3 rooms and requested the rooms nearby if possible two connecting rooms. Hotel granted my request. Thanks. Breakfast standard menu and variety ok though limited but it was convenient to have breakfast at hotel.

Initially i wanted have fruits before my breakfast but only watermelon left so i skipped it. Porridge was too watery and not enough condiments. No complimentary parking. Subsidised parking charged per day. We came in two cars so had to pay for both cars for two days parking.

Spacious and clean room. Friendly and helpful hotel staffs. Great food variety in the buffet breakfast. 15 minutes walk to Kidzania. 15 minutes taxi ride to Tropicana Gardens Mall (to visit Just Farm) 20 minutes taxi ride to 99 Wonderland Park 40 minutes taxi ride to Petrosains Discovery Centre

I like the hotel. It's just that currently the link bridge to the mall (The Curve) next to the hotel is closed. Hence you have to exit the hotel and walk to the mall using the street's sidewalk. It would have been great if the link bridge is open for the public again.

Front desk staffs are kind and helpful . Security, housekeeping and breakfast staffs are also kind and helpful too . The lobby and walkway to the lobby lift look nice . 😍 The room is spacious, clean and comfy . Room also has a nice royal colour and concept . The room amenities and toiletries are enough . For breakfast, there is a variety of nice foods . 👍 Swimming pool is great too . There is also a walking distance mall nearby the hotel . Overall, it have been an amazing stay here @ RCD . Will be back again next time . 💙

Some parts of the wall need to be repaint .

They really did well with the staff training, They are courteous and very helpful. The facility overall is in good condition except for some very small maintanence concern i.e. wall, plasters etc. Due to the closure of E-Curve shopping mall, the connecting walkway indoor is closed and the outdoor covered walkway is available. But if it rains heavily, chances of you getting drenched is quite high as I've experienced. Other than that, if you need quiet but accessible place to stay, this facility would be perfect.

All has been mention above. Nothing much, only small, minute improvement here and there. Taking in consideration of post covid's impact on the industry.

I love the accessibility of the hotel due to its strategic location at PJ, easy to commute to KL and PJ. Besides, I love the room because it is spacious and cleanliness is well maintained. Furthermore, I love the art of building as it maintains the art of Malay culture.

I hate to say the food here is terrible especially breakfast. The cooking is not perfect, probably no experience chef working here to supervise the newbie chef. Please improve your cooking especially breakfast as it is such a waste of money to have meal here.

the room and overall place just nice

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the bed was very welcoming. The minibar was not very interesting but for a short stay, it was ok. I did not have much time to make tea or coffee either. However the room service was fast and the taste was good.

The breakfast was not up to my expectation. I stayed at Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur before and their food spread was so much better. The ambiance was also not as good as the KL branch.
