The location is within walking distance from the Borneo Cultural Museum and Sarawak River. Many eating places are nearby including shopping malls. The place has unique vintage vibes and the counter staff are ever helpful. Overall we had a fun and enjoyable stay.

There are no lifts. There are up to three flights of stairs to climb if you stay at the upper floor. There are no rooms on the ground floor. There's no shampoo or body wash provided, only two pieces of hand soap. There was no drying mat too so the floor would be wet when you come out of the shower. I hope they can provide it in the future. We were given the attic room. There's only one charging point at the attic. I wish they could install one more at the lower level. This is an old hotel so be prepared to expect some things to breakdown. We had a leaking wash basin but they fixed it promptly.

Location was excellent, just opposite the river, near to a shopping mall yet in the center of the old town with many eateries around the corner. We liked the communality of the hostel: the availability of a hot water fountain on our floor and common kitchen on the first floor with plenty of space to sit. The interior is beautiful and cozy, with eye for tradition and the beauty of the structure. A staff member helped us organizing transportation to Singkawan.

The lodge is installed in a typical old Kuching building decorated with many traditional items and in the core of the old town. Many of the buildings and places that a traveller should visit in Kuching are an easy walk from Waterfront Lodge. Very friendly staff; and a great plus is the car park.

One should be honest and not ask from an accommodation more as you should expect from an establishment of the category you have booked.

The location was perfect. It's right smack in the middle of the waterfront, making it so easy to get to all the attractions. There was so much good food nearby and shops that sold a wide range of products including souvenirs, traditional clothing, spices, local food, gorgeous wood carvings. Our room was really clean and the bed was really comfortable. I liked that was could see the waterfront from the window and people watch. I was worried it would be noisy but because Kuching's music scene at the waterfront usually stops by 1030, it was very quiet There is a very clean shared kitchen where you can refill filtered water and make your own coffee and tea. There is also a shared refrigerator.

Frontal counter staff Awang is exceptional friendly and helpful in everything, greeted us on the first day when we checked in, gave us information on where to go What to eat, when we extended our stay, changed us to bigger room because we have young children ...listening to all my adventures in kuching

When we requested new towel on second night and extra pillows on third night, the night duty staff told us only the house keeping lady have the key, we can request the next day. I only get extra pillow when I insisted.

The Logde is located in a old Chinese house just in the Centre of Kuching in the main Bazar road on the waterfront. Very easy to reach a lot of places do the position and nearby many travel agency for organize tour around Kuching or in Sarawak like Niah Cave or Gunung Mulu National Park. The Lady at the reception give a lot of information where I can taste the real local food. Thanks once again

Great location! Water music fountain and Darul Hana bridge right exactly in front of the hostel. Restaurants, convenient shops and souvenirs shop are within walking distance, super convenient! The staffs are friendly and helpful too.

Building is old. Lightning not bright enough! No hair dryer provided!

It’s in a very charming building which I’ve been told is 200 years old. Theres a shared space on the first and second floors where one can enjoy an amazing view of the riverfront. Just behind it is the Chinatown with some amazing food and cool hipster type bars and very cool graffiti and vibe.

It’s very basic. But I didn’t expect or looked for more so this is not a complaint.

Across the street from a great waterfront walkway. Surrounded by several interesting shops and restaurants. Close to a mall and museums.

Room is a little cramped, fixtures a little old, but great value for the price. A food court is close by so there is some noise from there at night.

The staff were very kind and have given us numerous tips on which museums to visit, where to eat, and even called an agency to check for us whether Raflesia was blooming. The building is neatly decorated and stylish, right by the riverfront. There is a shared kitchen with a fridge, a water heater, and basic utensils. Reading the comments of other people who stayed here, we requested a quiet room and were very happy to stay in room 213 facing an inner courtyard.

During our stay, there was a group of school children visiting for a few nights, so it did get quite loud at times.
