The location was amazing and the view was just glorious! We loved swimming in the South China Sea and the infinity pool was very nice. Our room was very spacious and our bed was extra comfortable.

Our only complaint about the property was the restaurant and its staff. It was very expensive and it took forever for them to get our food to us. Most of the time 8+ employees were standing around in the restaurant as we were wondering what is taking so long for our food to be cooked. We were the only customers at times and it took nearly an hour for our food to come to the table. On one of our visits, after waiting 45 minutes asked if they could package our food and bring it to us by the pool. After telling us they do not deliver food to the pool area, they then delivered another customers food to the pool area. This restaurant was the only bad part of our visit. Everything besides the restaurant was amazing!

The scenery is breathtaking. Overall everything was fine only that our room, maybe there's something wrong with the aircond. The temperature of the aircond suddenly feels so hot at night but it was bearable. Nevertheless we still enjoyed our stay there. Their staff were friendly and we received excellent services from them. Tiptop.

I know this is an old resort since 1990 but its clean and modern after undergoing renovation. The hall is very spacious and windy. Is a good place for leisure and i could say it's worth the price. They provided welcome drink which is a bonus mark to our stay. They have a big swimming pool which is photogenic. We can have a leisure walk or swim at the beachside too. The breakfast is superb and would like to praise the staffs especially Mr Peter whom was helpful and attentive to us. Last but not least, i didnt know the resort is just next to the Sarawak Culture Village! You can straight check in to the resort after visiting Culture Village (a must). Will definitely come back if there is a chance. My parents love it so much.

The dinner was very good though we were one of only two couples in the restaurant. The teriyaki chicken burger was one of the best burgers I have had. The pizza was very nice too, but too big for two after the burger. So, we had to pack some back to our room. Breakfast selections were very good too. We were there mid week, so the place was very quiet. That's nice for us, but not good for the business.

A bit more attention to the cleanliness/tidiness of the quiet corners.

We had a wonderful stay at Damai Lagoon Resort. The breakfast had a large selection, the pool was huge and clean, the gym was well equipped.

The wifi outside the room (for example at the pool or beach) was not that good. The staff at the reception couldn't help us with planing to go to the Bako Nationalpark

Extremely friendly staff. Very friendly welcome with drinks, and small snack. Huge room. Nice view over the sea. Definetely the best option in the region. Breakfast was very nice, automatic coffee machine, espresso, capuccino....etc. Restaurant in evening served very nice food which was very well presented. Prices for wine not too high. Good parking options for cars. Extremely big swimming pool. Relatively clean beach, warm water.

Prices are high. Lacks a bit of "life", due to the fact that there are not many guest. Can improve regarding bar and evening entertainment.

The staff was very very friendly, the swimming pool was huge, and the views were stunning! The bed was super comfy and the television is amazing.

It's a huge resort but unfortunately there were only a few guests. When having breakfast and dinner, there were more employees than guests in the restaurant. We had dinner on 2 nights, the first night the food and service were great. The second night, they got our order wrong, and when we finally got our order, the food was cold. Also, we didn't see the waiter anymore after she took our order..... The resort has a lot of potential, but it doesn't show for the amount of money you pay. Staff is friendly, but the procedures and way of working need review and improvement.

Beautiful resort, great pools with warm water, a few steps to the beach. Very good breakfast. Close to Sarawak Cultural Village. Short distance to food court where you can buy cheap lunch and dinner.

Quite long distance to other attractions in Sarawak. I would recommended this place for a short stay, just to relax. But if you plan some trips, it’s better to stay in Kuching.

Lovely comfortable bed and beautiful view from the terrace. The swimming pool was exceptional and so was the breakfast. The hotel is located in a beautiful lagoon.

The hotel requires 200 ringitt of deposit for each night - we stayed here 4 nights and we were required to give 800 ringitt of deposit on the top of the room cost. This was not included in the room description when I booked, which I found a bit annoying.
