The hotel is a 5 min walk to the water front. It is a 20 min walk to the ferry terminal in Sliema. There are plenty of little cafes, supermarkets, restaurants and shops in that direction. Mainly Italian food food but does have a few fish restaurants , burger bars and Asian style food too. The executive suite has a balcony with a small table and 2 chairs but was too hot for us to sit out. The air conditioning was great, the kitchenette had everything we needed and the bathroom was good too. TV channels, Netflix and YouTube were good. Rooftop was spectacular viewing during the day and evening. Both the restaurant and bar served lovely food. Didn't use the spa. Hotel kept our bags on check out day and provided a changing room in the spa for us to change in before leaving for the airport which was great. The staff were lovely, friendly, courteous, helpful and professional. I definitely would return.

The sunbathing area on the rooftop had very little space between the sun loungers which personally I was uncomfortable with, so we didn't use them. I had read previous comments from travellers stating the walls were very thin and you could hear conversations in adjoining rooms. I would agree, however, we were very fortunate that it was only occasionally and for a short time. It didn't hinder our stay or sleep at all.

We really loved the mini kitchen in the room and the coffee machine was a pleasant surprise. The infinity pool and bar on the 11th floor was pretty much perfect, well perhaps a little bit cold, but for grown ups it was very nice to chill. Also happy hour was one more pleasant surprise! Also the food in the restaurant is really good, big portions and I wouldn't say that it was expensive.

The cleaning stuff, well it depended on the day. No refill of coffee tablets for the coffee machine, no clean kitchen towels. There was this cleaning lady Marie, she cleaned and prepared the room for us nicely, but it was already our last day. Well the street and hotel noises were pretty hearable as well.

I had a wonderful stay at this spa hotel in Malta. The facilities were excellent, with clean towels provided daily and an extra towel always available for the spa or rooftop pool. The rooms were spacious, modern, and spotless—perfect for relaxing after a day exploring. The standout feature was the café by reception, where the service was consistently warm and the coffee outstanding every time. The hotel offered a perfect blend of comfort and convenience, with staff who genuinely cared. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to unwind in style and enjoy top-notch service throughout their stay.

Good location near restaurants and the front, as well as buses to Valletta. Very clean and well staffed, with cleaners coming in every day. We were given an upgrade to the Presidential Suite which was excellent. Good view of the harbour and Valletta from our room and from the rooftop infinity pool.

The roof top pool is slightly confined by its very nature of being a rooftop pool, but good for cooling off in and chilling looking at the view. The one bedroom suite that our sons were in had quite a confined balcony and the bedroom had no window, but other than that it was good.

The entire place was well-equipped. The room had its own kitchen, towels were changed daily and there was a shared laundry area available for free (you just need to bring your own detergent). They also had a recycling room per floor. A great outdoor pool on the top floor and an indoor pool on the ground level (-2). There is an on-site restaurant that you can book. The area is very quiet, with nearby restaurants, a pastry shop and convenience stores within walking distance. The entire place was clean and modern. Perfect place for families! I highly recommend this place.

Everything was great just a heads-up: I was informed at the last minute that there’s a €100 deposit and they only accept card payments for it. The amount is refunded after your stay.

We had a fantastic stay at Grands Suites Hotel Residences and Spa in Gżira. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff impressed us with their friendly and efficient service. Communication was always quick and helpful, both before and during our stay. Our apartment was spacious and tastefully designed. It felt more like a high-end residence than a hotel room. The kitchen was well equipped, making it easy to prepare meals when we felt like staying in. The entire hotel features modern facilities that are clearly well maintained. Overall, we were very happy with our choice and would definitely return. A great option for anyone looking for comfort, style and convenience in the heart of Malta.

A minor note: there was some construction happening near the entrance, but this didn’t affect our experience and was clearly outside the hotel’s control.

From the very beginning, the hotel impressed us with its warm and accommodating service, even before our arrival. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to reschedule multiple times, and the staff showed nothing but understanding and flexibility. Their kindness set the tone for a truly enjoyable stay. The hotel itself is fantastic—our room was spacious and well-equipped with everything needed for a long stay, including a fully stocked kitchen, a large shower, and a huge balcony. The two pools were spotless, with plenty of seating available for relaxation. The spa, though available at an additional charge, was a pleasant and worthwhile experience. Breakfast exceeded expectations, offering a rich variety considering the price. The location is also excellent, with a bus stop just a short walk away, a 24-hour grocery store nearby, and plenty of great restaurants along the promenade. Overall, this hotel provided a wonderful experience, and we highly recommend it!

The hotel has everything you could need, the pool area was great as were the spa facilities. The staff were friendy, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants and bars and is close to a bus stop to be able to access other areas of Malta.

There seemed to be either multiple or a very large group of kids/teens on some sort of school trip who were not the most respectful of other guests (especially in the pool). I saw on multiple occasions members of hotel staff having to talk to them, but didn't see any teachers keeping an eye on them.

The installations are great (Pool, restaurant, gym, etc…), breakfast has everything, rooms are comfortable and close to the sea front with lots of restaurants and stores (24h store just around the corner). The personal was always really friendly and helpful :)

The cleaning is every 4 days, the rest of the days they just make the bed. They could do the deep cleaning every 3 days, but at least every day take the trash out and fill up the coffee supplies. The biggest problem was the constructions work behind and in front of the hotel. We wrote them a week before arriving about the noise -Since we read the reviews here complaining about the noise- and the gave us a room in a higher floor. However, from 7am to 7pm there was construction work and it was loud.

Cannot fault the Hotel, we had a one bed apartment, spacious, clean & modern! Staff & facilities were excellent, especially rooftop pool area! At least that was a godsend as we were unable to use our balcony (see below) Location was also useful for the promenade & buses. We had a lovely time in Malta anyway!

Our only concern was roadworks & construction work going on around the street our balcony overlooked. Hence we could not use it, as it was so noisy & dusty! We realise there was nothing the staff could do, neither were we prepared to pay extra to upgrade to the higher floors more out of the way!
