Omg I can’t describe how beautiful this hotel is. The location is superb (5 minutes walk to grand master palace). We stayed in room 2 (duplex suite) and it was stunning. The gorgeous stonework, opulent bed, modern bathroom and balcony far exceeded our expectations. We even had a private entrance. We chose to stay in most of our stay in the evenings and bring food back/cook as we loved the room so much But what makes this hotel is the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and my mum loved the flowers I asked to be put in the room (yes she cried). The little things like when walking into the lounge and the staff asking how we were enjoying our stay, asking after my mum, giving advice. Can’t praise them enough The little things like umbrellas, fresh filtered water, free wine and nibbles, just outstanding and great value for money The continental breakfast was fantastic, so much variety, no cooked option but that didn’t bother me at all due to choices on offer. They also provide free wine and nibbles early evening!

The hairdryer!! The only thing I can fault, as I hate hairdryers attached to the wall as they don’t give enough power and hard to use if mirror steamed up from the shower. Please change these! We didn’t really use the mini bar, but some fresh milk and teabags would be good in the room as a kettle is provided. I know it’s free next door, but no point providing a kettle if there’s nothing to use it for 🙂 Also the TV is described as cable channels, we couldn’t get any other than subscription we had to sign into These things didn’t impact my trip at all but this would have just elevated it

Lovely small hotel down a quiet but central street. Room was spacious and clean and smelt gorgeous, with a Juliette balcony and an enclosed balcony. We had a side sea view, which was a pleasant surprise. You can't drink the tap water and so free water was left in the room each day. The room had a large, comfy bed, and we slept brilliantly. There was a good continental breakfast that kept us going, and complimentary drinks and cakes are available in the evening for a couple of hours. Staff were lovely. We would definitely recommend 19 Rooms and would stay again if back in Valetta.

Only very small things to mention here, but tea making facilities in the room would have been good. Although you can help yourself to tea and coffee in reception,you don't really want to be wandering around the hotel in your pyjamas. Also, an ironing board and iron in the room would have been helpful. We called down for them and had a 45 min wait. It was also a shame the roof terrace was closed whilst we were there, despite the weather being nice.

We always love when our rooms are spacious with enough storage for our clothes and toiletries especially when staying for multiple nights. Our bedroom had that and more. We also appreciated the Maltese balcony to open the windows for fresh air. As this property is on a quiet street without traffic, it was ideal for our stay. The location, just a few blocks from the main pedestrian streets is also great.

Climbing the stairs to get to our room after a full day walking, which would not be an issue for anyone young and fit. The bathroom space was rather tight as we had to step into the shower to close the door.

Location was ideal, easy access to bars , shops and restaurants. However the city of Valetta has a lot of steep streets and steps to climb everywhere you go so would be a challenge for someone with mobility problems. The duplex apartment was beautifully furnished and decorated and bigger than I had expected, with a side sea view. Again it is probably not the best choice for anyone who struggles with stairs as they are steep in the apartment from the lounge to the bedroom and in the bedroom itself there are additional stairs to the toliet and shower. The duplex had it's own front door and was self contained but no lift if you need it. It is probably better to book a room with lift access if you need this. The staff were very friendly and helpful and replenished our drinking water on demand. The breakfast was plentiful, great quality and lots of choice from the cold buffet but no hot breakfast available.

We could not get parked anywhere near the hotel with our hire car and drove around for 45 minutes searching for a space and then had to walk a mile and a half from our parking space to the hotel. I must stress that this is not the fault of the hotel. 19 Rooms situation in the old town does not permit it to have it's own car park. In addition parking in Valette is a challenge for everyone, locals and visitors alike. Consider using taxis or public transport in Valetta or be prepared to spend a lot of time looking for a parking space.

I visited Malta in March 2025. the hotel location was very easy to reach. I took bus from the airport , that took 20 minutes , to the hotel. then walking for three minutes. The hotel in just in front of the sea (dose not have a sea view in my room) but I used to take my coffee to the near street and enjoy the view. Also it is 10 minutes walking only from the center of the city where most of the attractions located, in addition to many attractions around it (with 1 or 2 minutes walking) . staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was rich of verities and they consider my allergy to gluten by baking special bread for me in the morning. also traditional wine was available for free in the evening hour

But I didnt like that the tea, coffee and kettle were available at the dinning room only, they were not provided in the room. I did not like the idea and would prefer more privacy. in addition to that, my room did not had a sea view and the room lights were faint so I couldn't know when the sun raises and felt sleepy .

An amazing stay! By far the most comfortable beds we have had on our euro trip. The room was beautiful and despite being an inner city building in Valletta, the sun still streamed into our room on the 3rd floor in the afternoon. The bathroom was spacious and really clean. The roof top is incredible with 360 views to watch the sunset. We loved the wine & snacks hour and took our wine up to the rooftop and watched an amazing sunset. The location is perfect, just a few minutes stroll to the shops, restaurants & a lot of monuments/city walls and loads of history to see. The staff were very helpful in booking us taxis & assisting us with reccomedations. Couldn't recommend this more! The breakfast was fantastic with so many options and super fresh foods.

The only improvement for this hotel I could think of is a better hair dryer! Otherwise everything was perfect.

The hotel was brilliant and the staff were super helpful. The hotel itself is in a really good position close to both the city centre and the ferry over to Siliema. We were lucky enough to have a room with a sea view from our little seating area. The breakfast each morning was spot on, coffee available all day and cakes provided in the middle of the afternoon. There was even complementary wine between 6 and 8 in the evening! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, well decorated and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly, professional and bent over backwards for us. Cannot recommend the hotel enough.

Exceptional hotel. The location of hotel is great, only few minutes from city centar, very close to public transportation (bus and ferry) and close to shops, bars and restaurants. The employees are very attentive, friendly and helpful. Due to our flights, we arrived very early in the morning, so we were allowed to store our bags for free until our room was ready. Also we departed very late, so we were allowed after check out to store our bags until we left for flight for free. The room was very spacious and it was spotless. Breakfast was great, many options to choose.

We loved everything.

Loved the cosy and personal feel from the moment we arrived. Our flight arrived early and we were able to leave our bags while we explored until our room was ready. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Room was great and loved the old school radio style Bluetooth speaker. Breakfast was a lovely spread of local bread, cheese, meats, along with a good selection of fruits, pastries, breakfast cereals and local delicacies. Loved the free coffee and cakes mid afternoon and pre dinner wine and nibbles. A lovely touch that really added to our stay. The location was amazing and very central for exploring Valletta.

19 Rooms is an amazing place not far from the centre of Valletta. It’s worth staying for the rooftop area where they provide free wine from 6-8pm! You can get a nice view of the harbour and also the cathedral. Room was spacious, and had everything you need. Breakfast was great and contained local food which is what I always want when travelling as it saves time trying to find certain foods when you can just have it at the hotel! The staff are really friendly and it’s that good, we’re staying there again for another night on this trip.
