Location of the hotel is very central. It's a busy street but despite this we found the shutters on the windows were good at blocking the noise (and sun!) so weren't disturbed. Room was a good size and the bathroom was modern and clean. We had great views and a small balcony, which was nice. The roof terrace was a bonus to get a bit of respite from the hustle and bustle if Valletta!

The breakfast isn't in the hotel it's a short walk away, which was clear prior to booking. It was sufficient but not especially impressive. There is no concierge after 9pm. We had an issue with one of keys not working when we arrived, it was a bit difficult to get hold of someone which was not what we needed after a long day travelling. But it was sorted eventually.

Excellent location and the breakfast was exceptional, the room was also very comfortable. Unfortunately during the night of the 20/12 there was a power cut and my friend was unable to use her CPAP machine which she uses for her sleep apnoea? She reported this to the hotel staff who recommended reporting it to Booking.com. This would however have to be done myself because I booked the hotel. I have done this but Booking.com has advised me to contact the hotel! I guess this will necessitate some form of mediation in order to resolve this.

The lack of compassion regarding my friends severe headache following the electricity failure.

Location was really central. Roof top bar was handy and the room was lovely. The staff on the front desk were so helpful as well. The breakfast was AMAZING. Such a great selection to choose from and although not on site was really close and a nice walk to it. The staff were great there also.

The door/ window in the bathroom was broken and couldn’t be closed properly, so you could hear everything on the street outside which was loud til 2 am and then again at 6am when the refuse collectors came. There was a code to get into the building past 9pm but people that wanted access to the rooftop bar hung around outside and it was uncomfortable arriving back at 10/10:30 to a group of 8 men asking us to let them in. No staff from the roof were there. We did tell the lovely lady at reception and she was going to speak to them but I think that could maybe be managed better.

We appreciated the room size, facilities, comfortable bed, room layout, bathroom size and cleanliness. Tea and coffee making were great too. Staff were excellent, especially Joanna on reception. We experienced one or two small housekeeping issues which were quickly fixed, relating to the bathroom lighting and the TV. Breakfast, although a short walk away in another street, was well organised and delicious.

Saturday after 11pm there was a party on the roof terrace. Our room-401 was directly underneath the sound system, and every boom and footstep echoed through the room until well after midnight:(

The room was spacious, the balcony overlooking the street was great. I also liked the Maltese sweets upon arrival and the slippers were handy on the cool floor. The hotel is very central and as such it is very noisy around the building at night but the windows and shutters keep out a good bit of noise. Staff in the breakfast location were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast wasn't half as bad as some people commented before. It is a small buffet and you get to choose another cooked breakfast dish. The coffee was quite tasty.

Immaculate room. Little details such as a robe and quality coffee. The bed was so comfortable. The staff were lovely. And the location was unbeatable. Right in the thick of things but still quiet in your room. Some of the best bars and restaurants right on your doorstep too. Honestly can't recommend enough. Plus breakfast in The Gut was delicious.

The rooftop bar wasn't open every night but i did go in January so I'm not surprised. It was lovely when I did get the chance to try it Friday night.

Perfect location in Valletta. The staff were very friendly and room 404 was spacious and airey. We had a large balcony which I had requested but we were at the the back of the hotel so had a partial view over to Sliema rather than the city streets, although it was lovely and quiet so definitely not disappointed. I enjoyed relaxing and reading out there as the sun was setting.

Our balcony and furniture was a little bit dirty, we were given slippers but towards the end of our stay. The hotel has a great roof terrace which could be utilised so much more with a limited bar service(?). We went up there to take photos of the Theatre dome, there are sun beds and tables and chairs but all were quite sadly quite dirty. Roof terrace photos shown are not really correct and do not have the view shown on booking sites.

Its is very well located in the old section of Valletta, short walk to the various attractions around the city and also close to lots of restaurants. The main bus station is not far away either. The room was quite large and bed comforable. The staff were very helpful and to have breakfast had to go for a 5-10 min walk to a small restaurant and it was very good.

Room didn't match the photos at time of booking, looked a lot more luxurious than actual.
