Casa Royale is a fantastic boutique hotel in centre of Valletta on the Il Republica, a great location to explore Malta and it’s capital. It was exceptionally clean, easy access with a lift or stairs, it’s on the Main Street but you never feel like you’re in the centre of a bustling city. We stayed in Ruby room, which had a traditional Maltese balcony, spotlessly clean with a maid service everyday if you wish, to clean change sheets and towels etc, also 2 complimentary bottles of water a day to restock the mini fridge, regardless of whether you had room service or not, and nothing was ever a problem to sort, of which we had none as its a fantastic hotel, with faboulous staff, breakfast was great, Marina and her colleagues gave you any choice of cooked food everyday, to compliment the varied traditional continental breakfast, they spoilt us everyday!!!

I had my stay here jul 18-22 and I could say that it gage the most comfortable stay. Thanks to the staff for making our stay comfortable and with utmost quality service. I’d like to thank Marina, Maricar, Jane for an awesome and heartfelt service they gave to us. They made sure our beds are changed everyday with new sheets, provided new towels and bottled water everyday. They greeted us warmly everyday and prepared our breakfast that really filled our stomach with care and love. They are the loveliest hotel staff that I met and they felt like family! The room was very very clean, bed was so comfortable i didn’t have any difficulty to sleep and rest, the aircon and tv was fully functional. :)

nestled in the centre of Valletta it was ideal for our short stay. the staff were excellent, arranging airport pick up and drop off as well as being very attentive. Rooms were large, clean and very comfortable. Although you’re in the middle of town, the noise levels were non-existent and we had a quiet comfortable sleep every night of our 4 night stay. ideal location for browsing the town and only a short walk to both the Slemina and Three Cities ferry’s (3.80 Euro return each!) Would definitely look to book here again!

Town centre location did mean that the airport taxi had to drop us off a couple of streets away (no big deal really). Pick up was easier as traffic allowed into the town centre up till 0900hrs.

Great location in Valletta and great communication from the staff regarding instructions on how to access the building. We were a family of 4 and we enjoyed our stay. However, both beds were in the same space and sleeping with the kids was a bit of challenge compared to place we stayed at in Pisa before flying here. Accessing the elevator with strollers was a challenge too. I think this is a good sport for couples without kids or with kids who doesn’t need push chairs or strollers. Shoutout to the beautiful and kind ladies at the breakfast buffet desk. They do an amazing job at serving and making you feel welcomed! It was close to groceries shop that closed at 11pm, which was really ideal.

The location is perfect! It’s in the heart of Valletta. Very easy to access any tourist destinations. A lot of lovely restaurants around. The hotel is in the city centre. Cooked foods is freshly cooked as you enter the breakfast room. You will be greeted with such welcoming staff of the hotel. Always smiling people. The hotel is always clean and smells nice. Very secured hotel. Room is perfect for my whole family. Comfortable big bed and even the sofa bed. Bathroom is really good size. The room is always being clean. We have been looked after very well. There was a personal touch as well when they put a balloons and happy birthday on our bed! That is for me an absolutely 5 star! They have all you need to have a memorable and relaxing holiday. Thank you so much for taking care of us my family.

The location is amazing, right in the heart of Old Valletta, which is pedestrianised, and an easy walk to most of the historical attractions of Valletta, the bus station to get you elsewhere and fab bars & restaurants. Also, the staff at Casa Reale are terrific - helpful, lovely to deal with. Nothing was too much trouble and they even let me use a towel and a hair dryer and get changed out of my wet clothes after I'd checked out and got caught in a sudden downpour. Lovely (huge) room, with a bath, and good, ample breakfasts. I would definitely stay again.

I would have liked to have known beforehand that it is in a pedestrianised area so a taxi can't drop you at the door. As a woman travelling alone, it was a little disconcerting at 11 o'clock at night to have to try to find the hotel while dragging luggage.

The location was superb. One of the rooms fronted onto the main pedestrian walkway and it was nice to have a chance to open a window and the noise was deadened when it was shut. The location meant we had excellent access to everything that was going on in the city. One room was of a very good size and ditto the ensuite. Plenty of hot water and a good sized walk-in shower. Comfy and large bed. Very good room service. Fridge, hairdryer, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, water daily in room, all very good. Air conditioned room too. Good wi-fi. Staff very friendly and helpful.

There wasn't any natural daylight in one of the the rooms we'd booked. In that one we could also hear the noise and smell the cooking from the kitchen below as it permeated into the room. The breakfast offered choices but the cooked breakfast wasn't always hot although the staff were very happy to warm it through again. The orange juice wasn't of a good quality. The bells were very noisy and took a bit of getting used to. Sunday was the worst day. They started early and finished late. The downside of being in a pedestrianised area is that the taxi cannot drop you and your cases to the door or collect you. The bathroom was a bit tired looking and could do with a spruce up. There were no drawers to store folded clothing.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel in Valletta, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. A special mention to Jane and Marina, who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference. The room was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with high ceilings, creating a comfortable and airy feel. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was another highlight. The hotel offers a set menu with delicious options, freshly prepared and a great way to start the day. Considering its prime location and the quality of service, the price is very reasonable and well worth it. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Valletta—you won’t be disappointed!

Hotel was in a central location in the heart of Valletta. Highly recommend the Diamond suite with its own private hot tub and terrace. This hotel is a hidden little gem. Despite being in the middle of the hustle and hustle, once you step inside, it's peaceful. Staff are friendly and the breakfast was lovely. Can highly recommend the Maltese breakfast.

Considering it was March, Valletta was very busy. The evenings were a bit too cool to sit outside, so you need to book restaurants if you want to sit indoors . As for the hotel, no complaints.

One of the best stays ever in some accomodation. Let's start from the position that is in the center of the center, the room was beautiful with a big enough bathroom and a comfortable bed, equipped with everything you need. Unlike most places in Valletta, you can't feel the humidity here! The staff is sooo wonderful, friendly and helpful, the breakfast they prepare is perfect. Some people here in comments complain about music in front of restaurant downstairs, but the truth is that they finish by 10 pm, and let’s be real, who goes to bed eariler?! I will be happy to come back here in the future! :)
