We had a fantastic stay in Tano's guest house. Even though we arrived after midnight, we had a code to enter and clear instructions to get into our room. The room was very spacious, spotlessly clean, and had a small balcony. We had tea/coffee facilities. Breakfast was very good, especially the croissants! And the rooftop breakfast area was a wonderful place to start the day watching the activity in the harbour. It's a beautiful building and we especially liked using the original stone spiral staircase to get to breakfast, though there is a lift as well. The staff were so friendly and helpful, Carmela went over and above to give us an amazing stay. The location of the hotel is perfect. Five minutes walk to the harbour and ferry stops. In the other direction, round the corner and up the buzzing side street and you're into the heart of Valletta.

It was occasionally hard to find staff during the day.

Lovely room, comfortable bed enjoyed our stay. When windows are closed we found the room quiet despite being on a busy street. Breakfast was very good with nice choice of freshly prepared food. It was so special to sit out on the breakfast room balcony. The staff are an asset to the accommodation being friendly and helpful at all times. Clean room from start to finish of our stay. The lift was a bonus and much appreciated. Thanks to Tano’s for a great holiday.

Nothing much we didn’t like, nice to see a new bar area is being constructed which will be great to have an area to sit for an evening drink.

Very cozy hotel, right in the center. It should be noted that the streets are narrow and if you rent a car, parking will be difficult. But we used the services of a taxi, which was very convenient - arriving both to the airport and later on excursions. Breakfast is delicious. All this can be enjoyed on the beautiful roof terrace, admiring the beautiful landscape. The landlady is very nice and accommodating - we arrived very early, but she hurried to clean the room after the previous customer, so that we can settle in the room faster. There is an elevator.

Since we arrived at the end of November, it initially seemed that the room would be cold and damp, because when we arrived, the room had just been washed and the air seemed humid, but it was wrong - we turned on the heater and the room warmed up very quickly. We were a little disappointed by the fact that we really wanted to use the jacuzzi, which is beautifully visible in the pictures, for one evening - we reserved a time for ourselves, but we did not manage to use it, because the water was not warm enough - max 28 degrees, but outside at the end of November the air was quite chilly and the water at such a temperature did not encourage us to enjoy the jacuzzi .

Loved our stay at Tano's. Breakfast on the outside terrace was delicious, and we managed to get some time in the Jacuzzi on the roof in the sun on one of our days. All the staff were lovely and super-helpful. Bed was comfortable and we slept well - it was quite chilly outside at night, so we didn't keep any windows open overnight and we didn't hear any noise at all from any of the local bars. Even though we were only on the 1st floor, we appreciated the elevator for when we had luggage.

Tano's is not alone in Malta in having quite subtle signage, so not very easy to see the entrance if you arrive in the dark! Stairs to reach the jacuzzi were a bit of a challenge and it would be a problem for anyone with mobility issues to get to it.

Great location, beautifully renovated building, amazing views from the roof top. I came with my mum and our room had two single beds, the shower was powerful, we had a lovely traditional balcony. The pistachio croissants were lovely! Each morning you could order a custom made coffee. We loved it and my mum and I would definitely recommend to family and friends!

Only thing I could suggest would be to have fresh fruit salad with breakfast and also I would have preferred a duvet cover rather than just sheets around the duvet. Just note that you need to be okay with stairs as despite a lift you still need to do a few steps.

Superb location - as close to the heart of the city without being there - within 10mins you can reach the main bus station near the city entrance, parliament buildings, St John's Co-Cathedral, fast ferry port to Gozo and other central sights. Coffee shops, bars and restaurants outside and around the corner. Breakfast patio with fantastic view of the harbour (excellent croissants). Room with balcony overlooking St Pawl's street - great view of the typical enclosed balconies found in Malta. Staff lovely to talk to and supportive. We will definitely stay there again

Proximity to local bars can make it a bit noisy

A very welcoming small boutique hotel with 6 rooms and a lift 👏 just tucked behind the Main Streets this place is brilliant and very quiet as soon as you shut the windows, room 32 had a lovely small balcony with amazing views the rooms are large with comfortable beds and aircon with wifi works very well ,the continental breakfast was perfect on the 4th floor terrace with spectacular views of the harbour . Loved our stay ,thank you ! PS now very much addicted to pistachio croissants !

Our whole experience at Tano’s was first class. On request Noemi arranged transport from the airport for us. On our arrival Dennis was at reception, he was welcoming and engaging. A very good start to our visit! Room was spacious, bed was comfortable, very clean, enjoyed the traditional design and colours. Breakfast was excellent with both European and North American breakfast foods offered in a buffet style - fruits, sliced cheese & meats, croissants, raisin brand cereal, eggs, yoghurt, and more. Breakfast on the rooftop patio, views of the harbour. The host for the day also prepared the buffet, greeted guests and served cappuccino and other specialty coffees. An historical building with the requisite staircases if you might enjoy the exercise but also has a lift! Super location, laundromat across the street but more importantly steps away from the heart of Valletta while seemingly not being there! Particularly pleased with the cheerfulness of the staff and their willingness to be helpful. Special acknowledgment to Dennis for his graciousness and humour throughout our week long stay.

Malta, Valletta, Tano's Boutique Guesthouse is a miracle. We stayed 4 nights at the guesthouse, a cosy family run guesthouse in the centre of the city. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped rooms. Kettle, capsule coffee machine, freshly made every day. Hair dryer, fresh towels. Rooftop terrace with indoor/outdoor breakfast area overlooking the sea, plenty to choose from. Sliced cheese, butter, boiled eggs, vegetables, fruit. Coffee, tea, juices. Biscuits, honey, fresh pastries, bread, croissants, muffins, milk, oatmeal, yoghurt. .... The staff are very friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Zsuzsa from Hungary who gave us lots of useful advice. Central location, restaurants and cafes close by. In November we had almost summer weather. We had a wonderful 5 days full of experiences. 🥰
