Location was excellent, felt like a 5 minute walk to everything! The staff were all really friendly and super helpful (big shout out to Derek) and handled everything really efficiently. Breakfast was delicious and catered to everyone. The room was clean and a great size with lovely wee details that just gave a nice touch (eg super tasty complimentary coffee machine in room).

We had a new group move into the room next to us halfway through our stay which we unfortunately had to complain about because the noise travels extremely well between the rooms. There are multiple signs in the bathroom saying that towels can be hung up if you don’t need them washed. Our towels were washed every day regardless. The ground would become extremely slippy when stepping out of the hot tub so perhaps some sort of mat would be helpful as my partner did slip and hurt himself.

Absolutely fantastic stay at a fabulous hotel. We were excited about staying due to the great reviews and were thrilled to find we had been upgraded on arrival to a room with a hot tub! The staff were really friendly and attentive, and sorted two small issues out very quickly. The bed was super comfy, plenty of storage, fabulous shower and lovely temperature. We loved the roof terrace with the plunge pool, perfect for chilling out and cooling off. It was always tricky to get a lounger in the afternoon but we had the place to ourselves in the morning. Breakfast was brilliant - loads of choice. You can choose one dish each from the a la carte (eggs, cooked breakfast, French toast (sweet and savoury), omelettes etc) and then the self-serve buffet had bread, pastries, cakes, fresh and dried fruit, cheese and meat, yoghurt and cereal. Plus a great selection of jam. There was a choice of about 9 different fruit juices, but we really loved the freshly squeezed orange juice so had that most days! We enjoyed sitting at a table in the furthest room along, nice and peaceful. The fitness room was good but all the walking we did meant I didn’t have the energy to use it! The location of the hotel is perfect - extremely walkable (although some roads are very steep, factor this time in!) for all the bars, restaurants and attractions. It was our first visit to Malta and we will be back. We adored the laidback nightlife of chilled bars with live music. Highlights to visit: - Mdina (30 mins on the bus), especially the Dungeon Museum. - Birgu for a ride on the gondola boat, - Sliema on the ferry. - Valetta for Fort St Elmo, well worth the money, a great insight into the history of Malta. We also loved Casa Rocca Piccolo house (definitely do the guided tour) and Mysterium Fidei underground monastery. Upper and lower Barraka gardens are also worth a look around. Food: - Ta’Kris in Sliema for delicious rustic Maltese food - Trabuxu wine bar for stunning food and wine

The location was perfect. In a quiet part of town but very close to the town centre and all popular sites. Easily walkable to all. All staff were very polite and helpful, especially Lejla who was particularly kind and helpful, with lots of information that made a big difference to our stay. Thank you! Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choices for everyone, buffet and a la carte. The only small issue was space - it's not a very big room, but that was not really a major issue. Our room was a great size and the bed very large and comfortable. The bathroom was excellent. Plenty of space and a great shower.

More space for the breakfast area. Everything else was superb.

Super location in the heart of Valletta. Beautifully restored old townhouse with comfortable rooms and modern bathrooms. Breakfast was a great mix of buffet and à la carte, so we ordered something different each day. We didn't use the spa or the pool, but the roof terrace was a nice place to sit and read in the February sun. I will be recommending Palais Le Brun to my friends.

They knocked on our door twice to ask if the room was clean and once before breakfast to ask if we wanted the room cleaned early. We could have done with a hook in the bathroom to hang clothes. The plug socket nearest the mirror did not take the hairdryer. These are tiny niggles and only mentioned as a way to improve. None of them would stop me recommending this hotel to others wholeheartedly.

Excellent breakfast, very good sound insulation of the rooms. We appreciated the front desk open all the time, and the adjacent salon.

Room on first floor (101) was rather dark and not very suitable for reading (some people still read). Room on fourth floor (46) was great with wonderful terrace (for additional money), but construction work outside with heavy cranes and concrete mixers went on every day, including the weekend, making the terrace very noisy. Of course, the hotel has no control over this but some warning or a small compensation would have been welcome. The bathrooms are nice but there is no counter space for toiletries.

The property was in an excellent location in Valletta. It’s a 5-10 minute walk from the famous St Lucia Street and was close by local bars and restaurants. The hotel room was pretty, spacious, and clean. The bed was so big, it fit three of us, so we didn’t have to use the pull out sofa bed (which was also huge!) Staff at the hotel were so attentive, polite, and kind; they couldn’t do enough for my group! The rooftop pool was extraordinary and had lovely views of the sea. The breakfast, baguettes, and drinks were great and if I went back to Valletta I’d stay there again. Also! The street next door to the hotel, Eagle Street, was a filming location for Game of Thrones! Our bedroom looked out into the street that was used for King’s Landing in Season 1!

Great location, spotlessly clean, great shower. Breakfast staff were friendly and attentive and breakfast selection was excellent with good choice of freshly cooked dishes. Due to layout of breakfast rooms it could get crowded especially around buffet table. Would have been good to have tea/coffee served at table rather than guests queuing for one self service machine. Bedroom was lovely with large bed and lots of space. Unfortunately we were on ground floor of annexe so room had very little natural light and required lights on at all times. Overall good hotel with great location close to centre but perfectly quiet.

Poor breakfast

Bonus was a balcony with a Jacuzzi hot tub on it which was lovely after a long day walking. The staff were very helpful. The location was perfect and easy to find even in the old town with lots of narrow streets. The breakfast was great even if the breakfast area was tight and needed a bit of manoevring to navigate from the different food offerings. The weather was not warm enough to try out the rooftop pool and leisure area, which would be great in good weather.

The room was fine for me since I was on my own , but two people might have found it a bit tight around one side of the bed. The breakfast room was also a bit meandering and not easy to get around.

Location was good just a short walk from the town center but far enough not to be noisy.

Staff were Very polite and it was very clean.
