The property is located ideally in the heart of Valetta. The rooms are small but cosy and had everything we needed. Clean, fresh, with a courtyard view. Comfortable bed, handy coffee station and bottle of water. Amazing friendly staff, looking to help if needed. It was a really great overall experience. If I need to point out the only thing that would need to be looked at is breakfast, limited choice but still very tasty. Coffee was really good and strong.

We stayed at Palazzo Ignazio the last week of February 2025. This was our second stay here at this wonderful hotel. The rooms were spotlessly clean, well appointed and quiet. The services provided were perfect throughout our stay. Everyone on the desk were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Rowena in the dining room deserves a special mention in that she was the perfect dining host. The breakfasts were plentiful with a full range of offerings setting us up for the thousands of steps we were to take during the day. The carnival in Valletta was an unexpected bonus … absolutely fabulous. We shall be returning to Palazzo Ignazio. Thank you everyone. Steve and Steff

Staff were so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was nice and varied, and the room was a great size with a good shower and amenities. The location was ideal, easy walking distance to absolutely everything.

We booked this hotel partly because of the facilities and so it was disappointing to find that the spa was not open and neither was the rooftop bar (one of the specific reasons we chose this hotel). Staff were very apologetic but it was quite disappointing and if we had known these things were not available, we might have booked elsewhere. Also, there was no mirror in the room which was odd and a little annoying.

The staff were amazing - friendly, helpful and professional. The room was a good size with a spacious shower room. Good drinks making including a Nespresso machine. The breakfast was fresh with a wide variety of choices - cereals, meat, cheese, crepes, pancakes, fruit etc. Barista style drinks also available.

I sleep well wherever but for my other half the street noise disturbed her a bit - our room was at the front of the hotel. A sleep pack was provided with earplugs and mask.

Central location with easy walking distance to all shops, restaurants and attractions in Valletta. Rooftop terrace with great views across the harbour.

Arriving at the hotel to be told we were not expected until the following day - this was despite previously receiving an e-mail from the hotel confirming the dates. Receptionist seemed unable to resolve this herself and we had to wait about 30 minutes for her to get assistance - fortunately a lower grade room was available for one night.

We loved this hotel for its location and the welcoming staff and their enthusiasm for helping us have the best time in Valletta . Excellent restaurant recommendations. Lovely clean room with the best wonderful views to wake up to ! Fabulous rooftop terrace to relax on too, with drinks from the lovely in house cafe.

Hard to find any faults at all , but perhaps the breakfast could have offered slightly more choice as hot items were limited. The sweet pasties and cakes were of course delicious and there was a good selection of fruit and cold meat & cheese. So only a minor point.

Room and facilities were excellent, hot tub very relaxing, staff very helpful.

Bathroom could have more space to store toiletries, there was only a small soap sized area. Also the shower could do with something to stop water spilling out onto the rest of the floor, so the mat gets wet, and floor remains wet. The pillows were too hard, but personal preference maybe. The outdoor deck area, with a great view, while nice having a hot tub, the only chairs provided outside are really only good for sitting to eat and drink, plus they're metal and burn you if not careful.

Cleanliness, reception staff very polite and friendly, good size room and nice rooftop. It is right in the centre of Valletta but still quiet and you can walk everywhere.

The breakfast is ok however dairy products should be kept in the fridge or in a bowl with ice. Staff serving breakfast can make an effort to be more friendly and at least smile. The breakfast room was boiling in the morning as they put the heating at 25 degrees and I had to ask them to turn it off in many occasion. I also had to ask to turn it off in our bedroom as it was too hot .

Stylish room, great location - 10 mins walk in different directions to main tourist spot including ferry and bus terminals. Room was very stuffy and AC didn’t work. Breakfast was nice - classic continental, but a little chaotic, probably need a bigger space and more staff for all the guests, does fill you up before a day of walking round the city. Sam was very sweet on main desk. I’d recommend to stay here.
