The are no words to express this fantastic experience. I was traveling alone to a country I had never visited before and it was as if I was visiting family that I had not seen in a while. The staff were the best!!!! They cared for my every wish and organized everything for my arrival, stay and departure; they even managed to check me in earlier than agreed. The communication had started via emails and I felt safe and happy, even before my arrival! The room was beautiful, spacious and very clean; it was kept clean every day with fresh towels and new/clean of everything that I had used (glasses, mugs, tea).

Beautiful hotel, so pretty. Room very comfortable with mini fridge, hair dryer, tea/coffee making facilities. Etc very clean and great house keeping. Friendly helpful staff. Easy check in. Great continental breakfast including cereal, toast, pancakes, yogurt, meats/cheese, fresh fruits, selection of pasties and fruit juices- hot drinks. Only short walk to harbour, the square shopping area and bus station. Roof top terrace and bar with hot tub. All this right in the heart of Valletta with lots of old narrow streets, filled with restaurants bars and cafes to explore. I would definitely stay again.

Nothing all perfect

Everything the staff were so helpful and kind and happy always there when you came in or out except after 20pm The room was fabulous the bed was good. We will go there again. It is positioned just right so we could walk a short way for a meal or shops. When I asked for the room to be made up at 11.00 it was so we could rest at the hottest times. Very quiet and private the little balcony was a bonus as you could see part of the old part of Valetta next to the new. There is so much to do in Malta I belive the hotel is a great base to do it from

The shower floor is wooden and needs refurbishment. I would like a person on the desk at night.

The location of the hotel is excellent, tucked away in a quiet area just a few steps away from the bustling, lively streets which ensured a peaceful nights sleep. We booked a deluxe room which was nicely furnished and included a Maltese balcony; air conditioning ensured the perfect temperature, bedding and towels were good quality and the bed was extremely comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard and included a bottle fresh drinking water. All the staff were extremely competent and accommodating, offering advice and shortcuts to getting places to improve our stay; nothing was too much trouble and we were always warmly greeted. The roof terrace is fabulous and we managed to spend a few hours each day soaking up the sun and atmosphere while enjoying the outstanding views. It was great having the outside space to relax, plan our days and enjoy a glass of wine. Valletta is beautiful and we would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel for it’s location, wonderful team of staff and great views from the terrace, everything was spot on and we were made to feel very welcome

Charming boutique hotel, very friendly and welcoming staff who were available at all times and very helpful. Stayed with my sister and requested twin beds which was accommodated. Pillows were a bit hard for my liking but fine for my sister. The room and bathroom were kept spotless. Tea/coffee facilities were provided in the room and small milks (not powdered) which was great. We liked having the balcony and semi-open seating area. Wi-Fi was fast and had no issues.

No conditioner in the shower, just shampoo and shower gel. The bathroom sink was quite slow to drain. Breakfast was continental and certainly enough to fill us up however no hot items and not much variation. The breakfast room was also quite small with limited seating which meant sitting quite close to other tables. Delicious cappuccinos and pastries!

Got a lovely welcome email from Gita which also asked about our arrival time so that would try and have our room ready before the usual check in time of 3pm…We arrived at 10:30am and our room was ready! Towels were changed daily! The views on the rooftop were fabulous. On the last day we checked out and left our luggage there and were due to collect at 4pm however while we were out a waiter accidentally dropped a whole Aperol spritz all over me. We came back to the hotel and the staff arranged for me to have a shower and get changed even though we had checked out. I was really impressed with their kindness.

Everything was amazing! From the very moment that we got until we left! We came pretty early due to our flight and the hotel staff made a huge effort to prepare everything for us so we could have our room ready as soon as possible! Our penthouse was amazing! Absolutely loved it! Spectacular view onto the surrounding area and the jacuzzi on the terrace! It was so great that it was difficult to leave it! Last, but not the least, hotel staff was amazing! Always at our disposal! And many thanks to Gita in particular: professional, kind and friendly, all at once! Definitely contributed to our staying and made our vacation as memorable as possible!

Nothing that we disliked! We loved absolutely everything!

The staff made my stay outstanding. Archie and Gita went out of their way to make my stay something that I will cherish. They could not have been more welcoming, attentive, and accomodating. Thank you so much for allowing me to check in early. It meant a lot to be able to have more time in the Penthouse suite my first afternoon in Valletta to soak up the view of the Grand Harbour. What a view from the terrace. It was outstanding and exactly how I wanted my first time in Malta to start. The hotel facilities were fantastic. Breakfast was excellent and I am so pleased that I was able to have it brought to my room. The rooftop terrace was glorious with an incredible view of Valletta and the Grand Harbour. The staff made certain that the absence of the rooftop bar was a non issue providing an excellent drink service when I needed it. Thank you so much. I could not speak more highly of Palazzo Ignazio and would have stayed longer if there was a vacancy. Believe me. I tried.

The hotel is a central location to Valetta. We came in on the ferry from Gozo and it was a 5-minute taxi ride to the hotel. You could have walked it but Valetta is quite hilly. We had three rooms booked and all of us thought our rooms were excellent. The hotel very kindly upgraded me to a suite which was lovely with a small balcony overlooking the street. The beds were firm but comfortable, breakfast selection was very good and you could order it for the roof terrace which was a lovely way to start the day. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

The roof terrace has great views but it's not fully serviced by a bar/food options. It would have been nice to have that available.

Really enjoyed our 3 night stay. Brilliant location for Valletta city centre and the ferry over to the 3 cities. Room was very good with a lovely terrace and the jacuzzi was much appreciated after a hot day sightseeing. Beautiful roof top terrace with stunning views over Grand Harbour. Lovely breakfast with option to have it in the room, on the rooftop terrace or in the breakfast room. Staff very friendly and helpful

Minor issue but towels were changed despite us not leaving them on the floor to be changed
