An unforgettable and simply magical stay at the Dinarobin, I actually cried in reception when I was leaving. The hotel is kept in an immaculate condition, the staff are exceptional, they really can’t do enough for you, the spa is out of this world, we spent a good 4 days in there, food is also excellent, wasn’t sure what to expect but was vey pleasantly surprised - Japanese Umami is great, does lack a bit of atmosphere but food is so fabulous you kind of don’t care. We also went to the sister hotel Paradis (transported by a buggy) and had some lovely dinners there, Blue Marlin and La Ravanne are particularly good and not to be missed. Beds are amazing and I loved the pillows (subjective, my husband thought they were far too soft but I loved melting into them). The special mention of course has to go to the location of the place, because it takes your breath away, I’ve travelled extensively but I’ve never seen such beauty as the Le Morne, it is really something else. The beach location is unsurpassed also. Make sure you go on some trips, like a 5 island hop boat day, you will remember it forever. A special thank you to Joel, Agen and Berty (wish I remembered all the names) who were at our beck and call when whenever we wanted them, the team are really customer service at its best and what customer service should be (and that’s coming from someone who can be a tricky customer at times). All in all, we really had the best, most special time and are forever grateful to Dinarobin and Mauritius for making it one of the best trips we have ever had. We can’t wait to be back!! From the Walkers xx

It rained one day so we had to go to L’Harmonie restaurant for lunch and the food from the a la carte menu was poor, we mentioned it and it was taken off our bill entirely without any issues. Definitely needs work on.

The view we had was beautiful, the room so spacious, super comfortable bed - the dinners were amazing and loved the different themed dinners that the food did not become boring. Wonderful choice of food with the buffet. Strongly recommend booking half board basis. Staff super helpful and friendly nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Absolutely loved this place and would go back in a heart beat.

No milk in the fridge in the room for tea in the morning - coffee creamer does not go well with tea. At the buffet in the evening we did find the waiters not listen to our drinks orders properly. We were there 3 nights and on 2 of those evening the drinks orders were incorrect. Minor issued however you did ask what I did not like. Other than the above the place is absolutely faultless. The most beautiful place I have ever stayed.

The location is great with views on Le Morne, a huge beach.

The room decoration was a bit dated and would benefit from a renovation. No towels nor water service on the beach (bring from your room) which other 5 star hotels provide. No a la carte options for breakfast which other 5 star hotels provide. Restaurants and drinks were overpriced.

Absolutely amazing place to stay with everything you need at the hotel, including all the types of water activities! Green territory with direct access to the beach from our room. It was on the 1st floor (above the ground floor) and was perfect!

The staff was very helpful and enthusiastic! They made great room decoration for our honeymoon. And they were perfect in the first 3 days of our living. However, the last day (7th of May) likely the whole team was changed, they seemed not happy especially in breakfast, I witnessed one staff had horrible attitude towards a Chinese or Korean couple when he served them (although the couple was quiet and well behaved). It was a big contrast with the last three days. Maybe because of the pouring rain that day, the vibe changed a lot.

Gorgeous suites, large rooms and well laid out facilities so that one area never feels crowded, even at full occupancy. Concierge, housekeeping and front office staff were AMAZING. Went out of their way to celebrate birthdays for two members of our family with gifts and treats. Small issue occurred and the speed with which it was rectified and the warm apology we received was amazing. The location is 100% but he majority of the team and the level of service received is second to none.

Service and staff at main buffet restaurant were less than warm. We wanted to sit at a specific table and then another and we were told no and that when celebrating a birthday they designate a specific table for use, which is utter BS and ruined the surprise. Brought the cake out at the end of the meal and didn’t bother to sing with us. Lacklustre. This hotel would be perfect if the rooms were refurbished.

The beach and location is gorgeous. The staff are incredible, I felt safe and well informed throughout my entire stay as a solo traveller. There was an instance one day where I needed to drive down south for an experience I'd booked but was told there was a road closure. The guest services team enquired about the closure immediately to check that my journey would be fine. Parking was very straight forward and the welcome team were very well informed of when I was waiting for a driver for an excursion. I loved the care and attention they gave me to ensure I had a safe journey/day. My final bill had some drinks on there for £80 which wasn't purchased by me. This was immediately taken off and dealt with swiftly by the team.

A small point but water is free for hotel guests we get 4 bottles topped up each day, I don't understand why there's a need to charge guests £4 a bottle at the table for meals. Would be good to have this removed for hotel guests or alternatively provide them with the water provided for the rooms.

Location, and facilities could not be beaten, we went out of season so hotel and grounds were quiet which was perfect. Food and service was excellent. Loved the fact you could snorkel from the beach and see the sealife. The fact that you not reserve sun beds. Loved the bar area and the beanbags on the beach.

A little more information about the history and culture of Maritius. Education on how to conserve and treat the sealife (Turtles and Coral) and how to treat them i.e. do not get too close do not touch or feed the turtles. I saw other guests chasing the turtles and stroking them. I am aware that there is suncream that does not damage the coral and this needs to be promoted.

beautiful beach, very good restaurants (especially umami), delicious breakfast buffet, and spacious rooms. attractive activity programm and mostly very friendly staff.

make sure you do not (!) get a room in a house where there is a room adjacent (except for families and parties traveling together), you can hear every word of your neighbours… poorly soundproofed

The concierge, especially Joel and Agen, deserves a lot of credit. Exceptional hospitality from Joel, who went out of the way and got arrangements done for us.

They should have had at least one restaurant where dinner could be had in casuals

Great location. White sand

The only thing is the entrance to the sea is not ideal everywhere. I advice to take swimming shoes with you
