My family and I have been traveling to Ensenada for over 30 years and walked by El Cid Hotel many times. We would always say to each other (El Cid Hotel) but never thought we would ever stay there because we own a house in Ensenada. We started to stay at the Holiday inn because it was a new Hotel but one night they were booked. We walked to El Cid and there was Vacancy so we booked a room at El Cid. We now only stay at El Cid every time we visit Ensenada. I love staying at El Cid. El Cid has a unique look and it is also clean.

The Parking is a little tight but I understand the Hotel was build a long time ago. I am sure there is reason why the parking was build like that.

The location is perfect for dining, shopping, and bar hopping. The hotel is clean and the staff are very attentive to their guests. I enjoyed a week with my fur baby in a safe and comfortable place what a pleasant experience!

The hotel is an older hotel, but the renovations were excellent. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The location for our family was perfect.

The outlet to the mini fridge is in a bad spot. It can be repositioned to a better spot. This is minor to our overall experience.

They’ll be authentic. Nice, great hospitality.

Somethings can be updated like especially the computer system in the front when they’re checking in people maybe even get two of them so two people who can do it at once

The room was quite comfortable and super clean. The colonial style was nice. Coffee make and fridge appreciated

Nothing significant. There was a bit of trouble with the wifi initially but it was promptly fixed

In heart of tourist area, easy walk to bay, shopping, dinner, bars. Secured parking. Clean.

Been here many times, older property, an unglamorous but safe choice. Rooms facing popular tourist street can be noisy with traffic or party people.

Good location for purpose of trip

Fridge didn’t work even after new notifying for more than a week….. unreasonably noisy at the weekend….. if you are staying Friday and Saturday you will def need earplugs.!

Our family loved our time and stay at El Cid! The proximity to shops, restaurants, and harbor life are perfect! The room was spacious, and the cleaners were fabulous!

It would be a nice touch to have some type of continental breakfast and decent coffee for guests to enjoy. It doesn't have to be elaborate, just something better than what was offered.

It was really clean and comfortable service staff are fast and polite , even maintenance staff are very helpful rooms are pretty big , I would stay here again

Plenty of parking , space is really small, need to have family get out of the car before parking , remote on t.v. hard to control need updated, buffet food was not that tasty

We have always booked our hotel at best western del cid hotel for years and I love how clean the hotel is . The cleaning crew are amazing and great costumer service .

Our room was 509 and the air conditioner was leaking water .
