Pros: The hotel is beautiful. The location in the city center is convenient for tourists. The beds were very comfortable. We had a small balcony to look out onto a side street. We were able to watch some TV shows in english. The food at the restaurant is tasty. Portions are not large but that is to be expected for a nicer restaurant. Everything is reasonably priced.

The restaurant staff is not great. For example, my food was brought to the table but I didn't receive a spoon and the waiter never came back so I had to use the small coffee spoon. When waiting for our bill, I decided to stay at the table and let the rest of my family go back to our room, and I sat there alone at the table for over 10 minutes before I finally flagged down a waitress and asked for the bill. There is a lot of street noise so take some ear plugs for when you want to go to bed, if you're sensitive to noise. We kept the balcony doors closed and didn't think it was a problem during the daytime.

Morelia is a beautiful city and the hotel has a perfect Centro location. Our room was lovely and the check-in staff were welcoming and helpful.

Checking in we were told that water was available but we weren't sure where to find it. My friend who speaks spanish well went to reception to ask. The man at the desk ignored her while on his phone. After 5 minutes she asked where to find the water and he very rudely told her she should go to a store and buy it. The concern was more his attitude than the situation. Our first rudeness in our week in Mexico!

Great location being almost next to cathedral, staff was professional and helpful.

Our room (220) was facing a back parking lot and busy road. It’s downtown so excepted it a bit. My only problem was that the bedroom was upstairs, had to take this spiral tight stairs making it inconvenient. If you desire to use bathroom had to go up and down and in the middle of the night it makes it kind of dangerous as you can stumble … not a big deal but just inconvenient

Beautiful building and lovingly decorated for Day of the Dead. Very practical location in the middle of town, with only a short walk to everything. Very friendly staff.

Our room was quite loud at night (also given the festivities for Day of the Dead). The staff helpfully showed us another room option but this did not have much natural light. There is not much that can be done about this; it is the downside of a great, central location.

What I really liked about the hotel was the Architectural aspect and the decoration as well as the food. I also thought the staff was very courteous and professional.

There was four roaches spotted in the bathroom one at the beginning of the night and 3 more later on. I couldn't sleep with fear hoping they don't catch a ride back home in our belongings.

I’m not a block from the iglesia and central plaza. Welcoming and pleasant staff who were all very helpful. Valet parking!

Be aware that no sign is at entrance of the hotel indicating a place to park for the valet. You must be vigilant for the hotel and park in the traffic lane with blinking lights flashing. It’s all easy if you know what to expect.

Perfect location in the historic center, without being smack dab next to/across from the cathedral and so much noise o the weekend; a block from that was perfect! Beautiful property, and the decor is very lovely. Amazing food in the restaurant spoiled us! Very comfortable rooms, and a bonus that there was AC to cool off from the brutal summer heat. Above all, the staff is incredible! we would rate this a 20 out of 10!

The only downside is that the safe is in a corner in the closet that is difficuly for a left-handed person with a bad back to get to...

What we liked most about the property was the cleanliness and the comfort of the beds. Every room has an AC which was great during our stay for the hot nights. The staff. They were amazing!! Honest, kind, and trustworthy staff they have here. My brother left his expensive razor in our room and we happened to switch to a different room. When we arrived to the room, they had moved the razor into our new room!!!! If that’s not great customer service I don’t know what is. This is our third time staying here. We will continue to come back.

The location is perfect for walking around downtown Morelia, the staff were great, suite was incredibly spacious and clean. Loved the water pressure of the shower!! Also we went out a couple of times, and there was always someone at the lobby ready to let us in despite it being late at night. Staff were also very quick to bring us more towels or other toiletries upstairs when we called in for them.

There is no elevator available in the property, so this is not an accesible hotel for anybody that would have difficulty going up several flights of stairs, plus dealing with bringing your luggage upstairs.
