The charm and beauty of a historical location was amazing. We loved our room, the presidential suite, which includes a sauna and was very spacious.

In December, definitely felt cold at night. We had a fireplace in our room. Initially the man who showed us to our room said it could be lit upon request. When we asked in the second night we were told it was unsafe to do so due to carbon dioxide emissions. We had a thin quilt on our bed which frankly felt insufficient. I’m guessing December is one of the coolest months so would likely not be an issue majority of the time.

This hotel is a nice mid level mexican style property. We stayed in a large king room that had AC and Cable TV. It was very clean. The hotel has a restaurant but we did not eat there so I cannot comment. The best thing about it is the location, it is within 2 minute walk of the Robert Brady museum and 5 min from the cathedral, which itself is surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars.

The only think i would mention is the wifi signal on that side of the building was almost non existant.

The location is perfect, it’s a 5 minute walk to the main square so you’re right at the city centre. The main building and the garden are beautiful. Loved the swimming pool. Breakfast was good but overpriced. Our room (more like a mini-house in the back of the garden) was spacious and had all the things we needed. Staff is friendly.

The room was very dark, which I did not like. Almost no daylight came in so we had to turn on the lights all the time we were there. There were soms small annoyances, like the outlet that almost fell of the wall, and the chair had sagged which was not comfortable.

The room was amazing, it was larger than I expected and it had a beautiful bathroom with natural light from a open roof. The hotel facilities were really nice, a really nice central garden with a beautiful pool. The hotel is well located to walk to many places

Not much to say really. I guess the fact that to access the hotel at night you have to wait for someone to open the door was a bit odd but not a terrible thing

Lovely garden courtyard and restaurant setting. Room was spacious, clean and very comfortable.

We were given the option of a bigger room with no wifi or a smaller room up three flights of stairs with street noise. Given the cost of a room and what the website claims, all rooms should have wifi as stated and we should have not had to make the choice. We went with the quite big room and used the wifi in the common spaces. Also disappointing that parking is not included and is an extra fee. I did not see this when making the booking.

It was gorgeous. Breakfast was in front of a deep blue swimming pool surrounded by foliage. It is less than two blocks from the Cathedral, a botanical garden and many restaurants.

There was a locking gate at the door that staff needed to open. That was a problem for one of us who is a smoker. Also, we wondered how one could escape in case of fire.

We got moved from a small basic room, which had street noise to a rear room overlooking the garden, which was peaceful. Good breakfast. Very helpful staff.

The rooms on the street can be loud. Hot water wasn't strong.

Wonderful property. Great pool and restaurant with very landscaping. Huge room with strong shower and really comfortable bed. Great location only a few blocks from bus terminal. Very quiet. Like a little urban oasis.

Bright white lightbulbs should be replaced with warmer more yellow ones. Also was not clear if fireplace in room was functional. But these are very minor things

Location was good. The courtyard is beautiful. Love the colonial style architecture.

The beds were the most uncomfortable beds ever. They had this plastic cover that made a lot of noise. Some small windows didn’t have curtains.

Lovely heritage building across the road from the bus terminal - perfect if like us you arrive late at night.

Need mosquito spray for any meals etc by the pool
