We were in the heart of the city with all the facilities on hand. Eating wasn't a problem as well as getting to the ADO bus station. The room had two beds for my wife and I. We stayed eight days as we took the colectivo almost everyday in front, on the main road, to get to the beach. So very handy.

Unexpectedly, almost every night, we heard this quasi load bass sound coming from a nearby disco bar. Unfortunately, it lasted almost every night sometimes till 3 a.m. but I got used to it. This is what you get if you want to stay in downtown Cancun. Yes, I would go back for its facilities.

The hotel is in a great location! Close to the center, Parque de las Palapas, and ADO bus stop. However, one of the restaurants across the street plays loud music till 4 am in the morning. The room is clean, has a king size bed, functioning AC and TV. The washroom was clean as well but the shower drain was clogged and drained the water slowly. The hotel furniture and common areas are neat and clean.

Location location location,close to every where. ADO terminal just 6 minutes walking,shops and restaurants, farmacias and Parque las Palapas around the corner.Easy access to the bus to Hotel Zone and beaches.

The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was excellent and filling. Great that they give you different options for it too. Wifi was fast too, and the staff was helpful and kind. The area seems quite safe but don't try to walk it from the center area of the city or you will go threw a rough area.

Value for money is excellent. Very convenient location. Bus station and shopping centers nearby. I thank all reception staff for a good job. Special thanks to Bernabe, who is always ready to help.

The room was clean and dark and comfortable. The staff is very friendly

The airport shuttle time was not disclosed at the time of booking and doesn't start until 10:00am. No restaurant in the hotel or surrounding areas, my only option was the room service with little choices.

the wifi was really bad I had to work out of the hotel due this issues

My room was big and very clean with all fittings new or well-looked after. I only stayed a night but slept really well and would be happy to book here again.

The Colonial was very close to the Ado bus station which we needed to travel to Belize. Our rooms were very clean.

We had a language barrier due to my poor Spanish and the managers poor English. I asked for 2 rooms together as I was travelling with my teenage children.. I was given one room on the top floor and 1 room on the ground floor. Although I did feel it was safe for us to stay the 2 nights.

the smell of the bathroom, I think they have a plumbing problem, even if they clean it every day still smelling to poop. only the bathroom
