The location was perfect ! The weather the staff . We rented the condo second floor (two flights of narrow wooden stairs)its located in front of the reception check in area. Our family of five had no complaints in this apartment. It has four beds two bedrooms (king size beds)and a half room( a queen bed and a twin bed ) with a wall next to the kitchen for privacy no door but a wall with an opening . One restroom and a full kitchen has a stove, refrigerator, pots, pans, all utensils you need to cook .The hotel provides a huge jug of drinking water .You couldn’t hear any noise at all or music as others complained . The management at the front desk was great . Javi the front desk manager was super nice . Unlike the other reviews no idea what they were talking about front desk being rude, it was not the case at all . Also the bar by the pool was awesome . Please note there is two pools . Roxanna was super nice and friendly I recommend her . No one tried to get you for the tip as others stated ! The food is amazing and from 5-7pm they have 2 for 1 on margaritas. Which for us it was a great bargain . They have really good options in the bar area. There are three raccoons that come out while you are at the pool they are harmless animals. The free breakfast every morning was amazing you can ask for your eggs to be made aside from what is there if you like fyi only the eggs not the other food items that are included in the breakfast buffet . Every morning they had different options . Breakfast is from 8-10:30am. I recommend this place 100%! Its about 2-3 blocks from everything . There is also the animal shelter a block away which you can volunteer to walk a dog or pet a dog or cat. I am definitely returning and staying here . Please don’t get scammed at the ferry upon arrival for a taxi service (another couple got scammed $60.00 dollars fee). Taxi service runs about $100-$150 pesos you can contact Greyzi for taxi services her number is via WhatsApp +52 997 114 6854.

Super friendly staff, directly at the beach with cool sunbathing area, clean rooms, changing breakfast buffet every day

Our baby was almost hidden (1m away) by a fallen coconut. Super dangerous. Staff promised to take care about the coconuts that were hanging above the sun chairs. Unfortunately the coconuts were still hanging there until we left some days later with even more falling down during those days.

Staff was very helpful; great spot, right on the beach.

Early morning noise from kids

Breakfast was excellent, varied daily & staff very efficient. Beach loungers were comfortable although if you weren’t out early you may not have got one. Staff in beach area were very friendly & attentive. Room was a nice size with very comfortable beds. Grounds were always raked and neat every morning. Beach club had a good menu of food & drinks with many options to choose from.

The beach area wasn’t very large which was ok, but the fact that they had a beach club there, where outsiders could pay to come in & use the small facilities was disappointing as there wasn’t always enough loungers. I did not like that the bathroom tap had a giant seashell as a faucet. It looked cool but when tap was turned on, water would go everywhere, especially behind the sink & then it would leak out from there all day onto the counter & floor.

The beds were so comfortable, we had a room with a double bed and what can only be described as a Super Super Super King - it was enormous and we loved it. Breakfast was good and they rotate the buffet menu daily with it repeating after 3 or 4 days. Staff always on hand to get you anything that had run out and on days where the eggs contained ham or bacon, they were more than happy to make one without for this veggie. Two pools were great as we have two small kids and the proximity to the beach meant they could be in one or the other without us having to fully move. Loved the beach club, and whilst lots of people put in their reviews there is a lack of sun loungers, they fit as many as they can in the space without it feeling too crowded and no where ever has enough sun loungers - we rarely were not able to get a place to lie. Food was amazing, really decent sizes and great quality. Location of the hotel for us was one of the reasons for staying there. It was 4 blocks out from the centre of town, so we were able to easily go out for lunch/dinner, and it was far enough away that you didn't feel like it was too central.

There was a bar/club next door which played very loud music till late. Ear plugs were left in our room which was a nice touch and showed the hotel were aware. Luckily our kids and us were all so tired each night it didn't keep us up but was a little concerning on night 1 and we had specifically picked it as it was a few blocks from the centre of town so assumed we would be away from the noise. When paying at the beach bar, the staff would go over your bill and then say; "No tip is included, you can leave 15%, 18%, 20% - which would you like to leave." It was very presumptuous and also to only give those percentages was strange and very American orientated. I refused each time, and left what I felt was appropriate but it was never 15%.

Beautiful large room with large balcony and stunning view. Great breakfast offering each morning and always kept fresh and replenished. Great location on the beach and short walk to centre! All the Staff very friendly and helpful. Serenity beach area was so chilled and relaxing atmosphere.

We loved the location and the staff! We are vegan and loved that the menu had lots of vegan options for lunch and dinner. It was easy to walk down the beach to get to the sandbar and close enough to town to be able to walk into when the roads weren't flooded.

The room was nice, but there were not enough hooks to hang towels, and not enough surfaces to put things on. Would have been great if there was a small dresser or something. The breakfast had very limited options for vegetarians/vegans which was surprising given how vegan/vegetarian friendly their regular menu is. Given how poor the infrastructure was in town, we probably won't go back to Holbox. There was a storm one day and it left all the roads flooded and the stench was horrible. We were glad we visited Holbox and Holbox Dreams was an excellent choice for our first, and probably only visit to the island.

The location of this hotel was ideal… not far from the centre and probably the best bar to chill out in from the heat. The staff at the bar were very friendly and happy to help translate. The room was nice, on the small side but we didn’t spend much time in there. The breakfast was good value for money, a lovely selection which was changed daily.

The hotel is next to the youth hostel and our room was one of the room next to it. The music was loud in the evening but it did go off around 12 midnight each day. If you like an early night or are getting over jet lag this makes it hard to sleep.

This hotel was great. I was doubting when booking between several hotels but I'm glad we chose this one. It has a very nice pool, right in front of the beach. We had an amazing room, which had a true vacation vibe. Love the shell faucet! It was a short walk to the center of town. Breakfast was also good. We extended for an additional night because we liked it that much. The raccoons that come out at night are very cute and very harmless. It was fun to sit and watch them.

The room was lovely, felt very boutique and was clean with everything you needed. The breakfast was excellent, everything you could want, fresh fruit, sweet option and savoury. The location is very central to everything and the pool is right on the beach front attached to the beach bar. Staff are so friendly there and really looked after us. Special shoutout to staff at the beach bar, Javy who was exceptional, and also Max, both who really made our stay special. Food and drinks at the beach club were delicious.

If I had to suggest an improvement it would be to have the water bottles replenished each day in our room.
