My friend and I had such a lovely stay in Villas Palmars. The staff are pleasant, helpful and very obliging. Our room was ready when we arrived, even though we were a bit early. We were also able to keep our room until we left for our ferry, which was nearly an hour extra. The room was cleaned daily, and the whole hotel is kept so clean. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. There was a fridge and a coffee machine in the family room. Pool towels are provided. The hotel is a 6 minute walk to the beach. The pool area is also lovely, with loungers around it and there is an area with hammocks. Everything was perfect!

Lovely stay at the island. It's not a luxury but an extremely good value for money. Great location, away from hustle and bustle, but only 8 minute walk to the centre. Comfy bed, good A/C, clean, lovely swimming pool. The apartment has a good shower, tea and coffee, cutlery, and a couple of plates. We decided to stay another night. Nice walk to the beach. Also, I think the beach on this side of the island is much better. Quieter and bigger. 12 minute walk to the ferry.

Warm and attentive staff. The location was ideal for us, far enough from the noise of the center but just two blocks away from the beach. Our room was perfect, very clean and with a wide balcony to sit and chill.

Sadly the Island was afected by a severe weather event during our stay, and most of the streets leading to this acommodation flodded, so getting to the city center and back became a mini adventure every day (which of course is in no way this accommodation fault). Just bear in mind staying a bit far from the city center has pros and cons, and ocasional flodding is one of them. The WiFi can be quite spotty sometimes, but that is also a problem across the island.

The hotel was comfortable and the staff was really nice and helpful.

When it rains and the streets are full of puddles, it is very hard to get anywhere. Depending on the amount of rain, if its big puddles, you probably have to walk a bit through them otherwise you have to get a taxi, even if its a 5min walk to the beach.

The facilities were as advertised. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Rooms were cleaned every day. Location was great - within walking distance to stores, restaurants, the beach.

Don't really have anything negative to say - when something went wrong staff tried to fix the issue.

We had a really good time, the room was nice, the pool area was lovely, so were the hammocks in the yard. Location was good, we could walk into "town" and to the beach of course but weren't in the middle of busy downtown. Would definitely book again.

Some more kitchen utensils would have been nice, such as a towel for example and some more cutlery/crockery. But these are just minor things.

Close to the centre and beach, the room was very well equipped for our needs and the pool was a plus. You even get the pool towels. There are also hammocks you can use and bikes for rent. The place was almost empty when we were there so it was very peaceful. :)

excellent location, less than 5 min walk to the nice part of the beach, less than 10 min walk to the center, good places for food nearby (especially one outstanding taqueria just around the corner), 10 min walk to the ferry port. very nice pool, lovely playground for kids.. we had a room on the first floor with a view over the pool, beds are quite cozy, a kitchenette has a little refrigerator and a microwave, decently working shower.. staff was very nice and helpful all in all we were very satisfied and would happily choose villas palmar again, especially if traveling with kids

wifi in rooms is a bit iffy, but they do state on the page that it is only available in common spaces, so it was pleasant to see it working in the room at all there is a construction going on at the neighbouring building at the moment as mentioned in some other comments, it was not really bothersome during our 4 days stay though, I don't think they ever started working too early and they usually finished before we came back from the beach/town center in the afternoon

We spent six nights. The hotel was comfortable, a great place to stay. The staff was very courteous and very accommodating. The location was perfect in relation to the public square and beaches.

The pool was cool. The rooms are really nice and the bed is cozy

They don't have someone at reception at all times. Also because there's a lot of raccoons there's raccoon waste. Not a complain about the animals. Complain about the cleaning
