We stayed at this hotel back in 2018, and the fond memories from that trip definitely influenced our expectations this time. The location is still just as perfect, and the staff remain attentive and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, and the food throughout the day was consistently enjoyable.

The spa area (sauna, hammam, pool) is now subject to an extra charge, whereas we remembered it being included in the room rate during our previous stay. The hotel doesn’t feel outdated yet, but a light cosmetic renovation would help refresh it a bit — although we fully understand how the humid climate makes maintenance more challenging

The ocean was so close! I loved eating supper outside at the restaurant, listening to the gentle waves wash against the shore. The shower in my room was fabulous! The swimming pools were great! Got a picture of me in the pool with the ocean in the background. The food was great too!

When I left at 5:10 in the morning the men at the front entrance called a taxi. I heard them discussing the price in Spanish. After looking at a printout, he quoted me the top dollar price, $86 to the airport. When I agreed without argument they all laughed. I said, "I don't bargain and I need a ride!" I really felt that they took advantage of me and I didn't appreciate the way they laughed. Let me with a sour note on an otherwise good trip. My advice, make my own arrangements for transportation.

Hotel was very good. On beach, close to main street with lots or bars and restaurants and shops. Pool was good but a bit cold. The rooms were very comfortable and staff were accomodating.

After we had paid in full and left hotel I discovered the hotel had placed an unauthorized $1,757.20 charge on my credit card that I am at present trying to get refunded.

It is right by 5th St. My husband's birthday was while we were here. They brought him a personal cake for his birthday. That's was wonderful.

It was warm in our room. In saying that, we like it to be 65°. If the ceiling fan went faster, it would be better.

Love this Resort! Unbeatable location, it is secure and off of the Main Street but a short 5 minute walk and you’re right in the middle of Quinta Avenida! Staff is very friendly and helpful. The beach is also great, not too crowded and really well maintained (for a beach lol). Will stay here every time we are in Playa Del Carmen!

The Staff were amazing! From front desk staff, pool manager Jorge & his recommendations, Restaurant manager Bernardo & his team so attentive & service from Jose second to none. The staff make this hotel.

Some extra attention to deep cleaning of rooms. Generally clean, but accumulated dust on rope bed heads & bathroom wooden walls next to wet areas required. A dehumidifier would have been great too.

We really loved the great breakfast with lots of made to order options and fresh fruit. A good gym with plenty of varied equipment. The pool area is lovely, there are a mixture of diffent Inter-looping pools for all tastes. The pool staff are super attentive and helpful. Excellent pool side drinks and food. The room is spacious, very well put together with good use of space. Lots of clever hidden storage. We loved the way the toilet, shower and bathroom are all one yet each area is separate. A very modern, open plan hotel that feels relaxed yet orientated to make all age groups feel welcome. Very very close to the 5th avenue and all it’s nightlife, yet the moment you step into the hotel, the outside disappears…. no noise, no people…. It’s great to be able to dip in and out of the party yet keep the calm hotel vibe.

The pool area can be a little loud due to the beach club located next to the hotel, but this is only from mid day to late afternoon.

Great service, good food and pina coladas, great infinity pool and wonderful spa. Annette the supervisor was wonderful and made our stay comforting.

On two occasions, there were loud functions directly under our rooms. However, finished at 11.00pm. Also waited one and a half hours to get extra tea bags in the room after asking twice.

The service was impeccable and the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. I loved how welcoming the staff were and we felt very well taken care of from start to finish. They even arranged a birthday surprise for my daughter’s 16th birthday which she loved!!! The views, pools and beach are amazing!

The food was overpriced, however there are a lot of more affordable options nearby.

Amazing staff and great restaurant. Everyone is so friendly there. Manuel from the grill restaurant was amazing ! We were there for Anniversary and a birthday and they printed out cards in our room with good wishes ! I can't recommend this hotel enough! It was a great experience.
