The beach bar is really a must in this city. The staff is also very attentive and the food and drinks are very good aswell. The situation.

The rooms are singular and not at the standing for the price. The terrass is not very comfortable. Pay attention if you don’t like noise during the night because on the room near the reception even on the first floor with partial see view, the bars in opposite of the street are playing musique very hard all night long.

Love the breakfast and location. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Truly enjoy ours stays here. 2nd time and hoping to return.

My family (3 kids) and i stayed on jun 15-20. I didn't like the idea of the lgbt flag at every table in the place. I understand marketing and supporting others' ideals but found it offensive.. as a business owner myself, to be truly inclusive is to be neutral. Allow your staff to identify as they wish, but your business is in business to make money... now knowing, we may book elsewhere during this time period.

Comfortable hotel, not too far from the main tourist attractions but on a quiet street and right on the beach. Food at Lido was exceptional, probably the best we experienced in our Cozumel/Playa del Carmen visit.

We really did not appreciate the loud music in the restaurant at dinner. If the hotel advertises dining to the "sound of waves", we should be able to hear them, right? The balcony door needed convincing to completely shut - nothing that could not be achieved by strong persuasion. The battery on the remote for the AC died late in the evening, so we had to manually turn the AC on and off.

The hotel is located right in front of the beach and close to the city’s main avenue, with various shops and event venues nearby. The room was medium-sized — just fine. Breakfast by the beach was the highlight of the stay, with a truly gourmet touch. The hotel restaurant was excellent, with very reasonable prices. The hotel’s charming décor gives off a gourmet guesthouse vibe.

We visited the area in July, and there was a lot of seaweed on the beach. Despite daily efforts to clean it up, a significant amount remained, leaving a rotten fish smell. The beach itself isn’t the most beautiful in the Caribbean, but the hotel is centrally located and serves as a good base for exploring the region. At night, there was some noise from nearby event venues, and the soundproofing in the room wasn’t perfect; however, we were so tired from the day’s activities that it didn’t really bother us.

The property is centrally located to literally everywhere you need to be in Playa del Carmen. The famous 5th Avenue for shopping and restaurants is a short walk away, the beach is directly in front of the hotel and a few blocks further for even more sand, and the restaurant/bar at the property is amazing. Communication with the staff was super easy and they were always extremely helpful and quick to respond. Rooms are spacious with nice bathrooms. Everything felt very comfortable. After seeing a lot of the other beach front properties we knew we made the right choice staying here. It was by far the best we came across in PDC

Good small hotel. The highlight for me was the great and polite staff….they helped me navigate the hotel and provided good suggestions on things to do in Carmen. The rooms were clean, housekeeping was thorough every day and their partner beach club Lido was a delight.

FYI - The beach club can get affected by the tides. At high tides the beach club loses considerable space but I personally did not mind cause I had a hammock on my balcony.

Very beautiful hotel, very well taken care of. Every time you go back to the hotel after a long day out it feels like arriving on paradise. It is also very well located to go around Playa del Carmen. The beach club next to it is also very cool, perfect to relax while eating/drinking something and enjoying the view on the beach.

The beach next to the hotel is full of algae so you can't swim in it. But you can walk 10-15 min north to find a nice public beach. Because the hotel is surrounded by bars/clubs it can be noisy with music during the night (until 2-3 am usually).

Great central location, boho decor and styling, accommodating and kind staff, impeccable cleanliness, delicious breakfasts, loved Lido restaurant, and ocean front. We stayed for a perfect week and would definitely return. It was a working holiday for us and wifi was great.

We could hear clubs at night in the distance but it wasn't enough to prevent getting a great night's sleep. Light sleepers might prefer a room facing the garden. We were right off the entrance, near the street and perfectly fine.

Colibrii Beach is my hands-down favorite place to stay. I am a loyal customer to this hotel, and have been for years (I’ve often changed the dates of travel to Playa according to their vacancy dates). It’s as close to the pre-tourist boom there is, ie, the only real “boutique hotel,” where you can walk out onto the sand right from your door, with the beach and sea just steps away; a small business feel with friendly staff, not bugging you to watch time-share videos. It’s also close to all the action. I almost don’t want to alert people to this little gem, because there are only so many rooms, always at maximum capacity as it is. But they absolutely deserve the accolades and I’m happy to provide it. Don’t change a thing.

You can not beat the location of this hotel. Right on the beach across the street from an oxxo and near all the bars and restaurants.
