It was in a happening part of Playa del Carmen. This can be good and bad. You could walk to restaurants, bars, etc.

The hotel didn't have parking, so we had to drive to a parking garage two blocks away to park the car for 200 pesos. It was difficult to find the hotel because it was on a walking street and we couldn't see it. I had to leave the car and walk on the street to find the hotel and parking facilities.

good location. purely.

The only window is tightly boarded up and sealed. We can say that there are no windows or fresh air.

The bed was very comfortable and had nice sheets, the room was quiet considering there's a club next door, I loved the shower. It was spacious and clean and the location is great for either hitting the beach/walking the 5th or heading in the other direction. Other reviews almost had me canceling, but it did not feel run down by Playa standards.

No coffee or drinking water.

Really enjoyed the spacious room. We really enjoyed the large hot tub in the room, and the double shower. The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and helpful, and with the location being right by 5ta Ave, we knew it would be loud at night, and it didn't bother us at all.

The only downside was the small refrigerator didn't work at all, and the bathroom was very cramped.

I’ve stayed here 3 times now. It´s an excellent value for your money property, if you want to be in the middle of everything and right in the party streets.

It keeps getting run down year after year, and it doesn’t look like they do much upkeep to maintain it in a good shape.

Cute building and great staff. Very warm inside any area but the lobby; however, the rooms cool of nicely once the AC runs for a little bit. Two nice little pools, one on the 1st floor and one on the rooftop. Close to tons of great restaurants and a two minute walk from Coco Bongos. Definitely would stay here again.

That the rooms weren’t cooled down prior to check In. It took about an hour for our room to become useable it was so warm.

Very good location, just few steps from 5th Avenue, actually centrally located near by all Carma del Playa activities. Personal at the reception (Miguel, Laura, MariCarmen and Cesar) were really helpful and friendly.

Rooms without windows are really claustrophobic. If you need just for overnight is fine, but for more than 2-3 nights I will recommend to take room with balcony/windows.

Great location, across the street from shopping centre and Coco-Bongo, walking distance to 5 Avenida. Spacious clean rooms, with two pools.

It was fine if you are out late nights, but Sunday night trying to sleep felt like being in the middle of the Coco Bongo dancefloor until 4 am. It is not the hotels fault it is one of the side effects of choosing a hotel in the midst of the action, and I suppose what nerve do I have for going to Playa and expecting to sleep!
