Very beautiful place located near downtown Tulum. The beds were very comfortable.

Beach club access is very misleading. The beach club is about a 20 min drive or a 40 minute walk from this hotel and they do not provide transportation. They advertise having beach club access but you still have to pay a conservation fee to enter the beach club area. Additionally the beach club has a minimum spend, so really anyone can walk into that beach club if they pay the conservation fee and meet the minimum spending amount. This was a very misleading advertisement and I am quite frustrated with it. We asked for a refund/cancellation due to it and they refused to accommodate. The main reason I booked this place was for convenient beach access but it was not convenient at all.

Lovely hotel in Tulum town. Spacious room (room 1) with small patio. Good breakfast with a selection from the small menu, helpful and friendly staff and four parking spaces in front of the hotel (we always found a spot). The added bonus is the beach club at Diamante K, but be aware there's still extra cost when going to the beach club. It's in the national park so you have to pay for entrance (415 pesos pp) + going by car it's 10 usd for valet parking while you're there. The beach club itself is gorgeous though with its own private beach that really makes it feel like paradise.

Staff were all very helpful and informative.

During our stay, on day 5 and 6, extremely noisy guests kept us awake late into the night, especially between 5.00am and 6.30am in the early mornings. Also note that you have rats in the ground floor gardens and therefore my wife refused to spend any time outside in the garden.

The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and to a real high spec! The staff were helpful with questions and the location was perfect for a good holiday.

The pool upstairs could do with a deep clean if I’m honest. Especially the glass around the pool, it was dirty and was mentioned by a few guests when we stayed.

Hotel was really lovely! Staff were very friendly and were very accommodating to requests (renting vehicles, organising transport etc). Rooftop restaurant was delicious too and reasonably priced. Rooms were very spacious and comfortable. They also offer free access to their beach club (not on site) which was really nice and relaxing.

Only thing I could fault would be the location with respect to the beach. You won’t be able to walk it and will need to either organise transport (which can be expensive) or rent a vehicle (car/atv) but other than that, nothing major!

The hotel was walking distance to main road full of restaurants and stores. It was a beautiful big room with great hot water and AC. Our stay included breakfast which was also great. There was a rooftop pool, they provide pool towels in room. There was always daily water provided which is appreciate when its hot/humid outside. They had a mini fridge and water kettle for the coffee/tea in the room. The beach club access I recommend you use since it was really a great experience.

No hotel elevator, but they had a bus boy help us with all our luggage. The lighting in the rooms was dim, needs bigger lights. Nothing else to complain about.

Casa Agape was wonderful - the location was great being within walking distance of town and numerous restaurants, the staff were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was very good and the rooftop pool and restaurant a real treat! The additional bonus enabling us to have access to the Casa Maria Beach Club was amazing and not to be missed. Our visit there was one to be remembered. We would highly recommend staying here to anyone wanting to visit Tulum!

Only one small complaint was that they cleaned the restaurant above us at 04:15 the one morning which was extremely noisy and woke us, but it didn't happen again so early or so loud after we notified the very helpful receptionist.

Comfort of room, cleanliness of room & grounds were perfect. Location was also ideal for us as was quiet yet a very close, easy & safe walking distance to town where there was a selection of bars, cafes & restaurants. However do note that if you want to stay in a resort by the beach this hotel is not for you as is a 15 minute drive away from the beach. We had a car & parking on the property was easy & very convenient to also leave & head out of town. Purposely chose this hotel also as it has a pool & being a driving distance away from the beach it was lovely to laze by & come home to & cool down after being out all day. We had afternoon drinks served from the pool level, they were reasonably priced, delicious & great to watch the sunsets with. Staff at front desk were extremely helpful & polite as too were all cleaning staff. Would definitely return & recommend if you want to vase yourself in downtown.

Although the rooms, & all public grounds on property were kept very clean we found the restaurant where breakfast was served really let them down. A simple thing like keeping the tables clean, washing out old butter from the butter jar before adding fresh butter, making fresh coffee shouldn’t be a big ask when offering this service within the facility. Also when booking the hotel the add reads that you have access to the hotels beach club sister hotel but forget to mention the exuberant day cost to enter the national park & other costs you are hit with so in our opinion don’t be fooled & drawn in by this & if staying enquire about this cost before heading there for the day.

A very nice small hotel (12 rooms I think) in central Tulum. Our room was modern, clean and quiet. Good value for the area and a short walk to the bars and restaurants. They are affiliated (owned by) a hotel and beach club on the coast. You can go there for the day but as it is in a national park the Mexican Government will charge you about £16 per person to go into the park. You'll need a taxi to get there.

A couple of things that could be improved. There is no shade at all (no umbrellas) by the small pool area on the roof. There must be some shade provided. The coffee at breakfast is not great - from a large flask type container. Perhaps get a coffee machine ??

Super lovely room with kettle and great shower. Was good to have 2 x beds. The breakfasts are delicious. The staff were super helpful organising taxis etc. very clean. Lovely cotton sheets too. The beach club is stunning and you feel like you are in paradise. A huge benefit to booking casa agape. You are very central for all the restaurants in Tulum and we had the best food!

It is quite a way from the beach club and expensive to do a return trip. We ended up walking there and back to save money. It’s about an hours walk to beach club though so worth it and you can stop for coffee on the way.
