Great staff! Loved the teepee - so creative and felt like an oasis in the business and heat of Tulúm

We paid a lot for bikes that broke down a lot. The chain fell off twice, the handle grips came off, the peddles were on backwards, and we had a flat tire that we were asked to pay for (which is bound to happen on these roads as they are difficult to bike on). After each day, we had issues, and each following day we were given replacement bikes. As the issues were not fixed by the staff (basic bike maintenance) we continued to have issues. I understand that the staff were trying their best- however we don’t think it is fair to pay for bikes that are highly highly likely to break and then have to pay for the repairs. Recommend not hiring a bike from them.

Many thanks to Jimmy, you are very nice and ensure your staff take care of me while you are away.  Sandra taking care of everyone in the hostel.  Fede and  Chris for the cocktail and beer suggestions  Hive, manage the hostel operation super nice.  Eldea, ensure the hostel is clean and tidy.  Jesus and David  to ensure the night security.  Tony take good care of the mechanical stuff maintenance and the swimming pool daily cleaning.   I enjoy my stay very much and keep extend it for 3 times on the Queen bed Dorm room.  The room is spacious and AC on from 9pm to 9 am.  The shared bathroom with cry hot water and good water pressure for shower. The private room are very nice and spacious  too.  It's 2 block away from the big supermarket (Super Aki) and there you can take bus to major site seeing point. Can't use the kitchen in the morning until 2pm. As need to prepare breakfast to the corner and the staff meal.

Great hostel, friendly and supportive staff! the hostel has everything you need in a good location in town, I stayed for one month and suited my needs well, wifi good, good mix of people and plenty of facilities available. the place is cleaned daily so is always spotless Ernesto the Cat and Luna the dog are super friendly :)

No co-working area so was difficult to hold meetings in privacy ( had to go to town ) and Aircon not turned on until 9pm. ( in the dorm )

I had an incredible stay at Mimosa ,From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the immaculate cleanliness and the well-maintained facilities. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights of my trip was the cocktail bar—hands down the best in Tulum! The bartenders were skilled, the drinks were crafted to perfection, and the ambiance was unbeatable. Whether you’re looking for a refreshing daytime cocktail or a vibrant evening vibe, this place has it all. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure every aspect of my stay was enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a mix of luxury, relaxation, and the best drinks in town. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I stayed in the tepee tent - pretty spacious and air conditioning was great. Bed was comfortable. The pool area is nice too. I spent a week and was working from the premises - internet worked great. Well located with many great restaurant options around.

The only down side is that there’s no fridge/ microwave, so I couldn’t bring any left over home and had to eat out every meal.

The whole property is beautifully designed and well taken care of. We travelled for 4 weeks all over Mexico and Mimosa was by far the best hotel we stayed in. Especially the welcoming staff made us feel truly welcomed like we were at home. So if you need to recharge your batteries and have at the same time all the opportunities to discover all the wonderful things around tulum, this is a very good spot to do so. Here are some highlights: + Beautiful tepee + Quiet nights to sleep well + Wonderful drinks at the bar and the 2 for 1 deal is a must do :) + Meeting nice people in a relaxing surrounding + Welcoming staff that are more than just workers + Fun and interesting talks with guests and staff + Easy bike rental + Best food trucks in Tulum are just 2 minutes away in walking distance + Good location to start trips to Cenotes (e.g. Calavera), Tulum ruins and beach and music festivals (e.g. Day Zero) Looking forward to coming back and seeing again Jimmy and all the nice staff! The water didn‘t work for about 3 hours, but the staff immediately worked on fixing it. So actually it’s rather a plus point for the dedicated staff.

Everything was great. The staff were so kind, welcoming, helpful and accommodating. Bed was comfortable. Wifi worked well. The pool was a great addition. Breakfast was delicious Jimmy, the owner was so kind to explain everything and kind enough to bring us to enjoy the night at the bar with live music. It was great to be the first Indonesian who stayed at his hotel. Definitely great two nights with worth value of money spent. Will come back again hopefully one day!

Nothing and wish I could stay longer

Everything was great! I stayed in a tipi and it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend it! Everything was clean and neat. No problems with hot water or airco. Both worked well. The tipi has no bathroom, but that was not a problem for me. The tipi does have a sink and even a hairdryer. Location was perfect in centro, nearby restaurants and supermarkets and about 15 minutes walk to ADO. The staff were very friendly and helpfull.

All the staff are so lovely and helpful! The pool and bar are nice to have after a hot day cycling around. The place is quiet and well maintained, with comfy chill out area above the pool and kitchen to use after 2pm. Breakfast is available as is lunch. I stayed in the dorm room and there was a huge locker available plus safe, personal fan and plug socket. Air con from 9pm to 9am in the dorm. Pool towel and personal towel provided

I stayed in a dorm as I wanted to meet people, as I'm travelling alone but it wasn't a very social hostel in that sense. I think at least 2 if not 3 people in the dorm actually worked there, which meant they weren't necessarily being social and people to hang out with.

I loved the rooftop lounge area, and the morning coffees. The pool was refreshing to swim or just dangle your feet in. The people, staff and other guests, were delightful, friendly and easygoing! The room was easy to get comfy in, and the shower was lovely and large! We were close to everything could walk or bike wherever we wanted. And the staff gave lots of good recommendations!

Mosquitoes!!!!🦟 the bikes could have used a bit more maintenance, but it looked like they got some new ones before we left (but we never had a chance to try them). My only regret was not going on a tour with staff member Braulio!!! He knew where all the best cenotes were and it would have been amazing to have him as a tour guide!
