Amazing Stay at Mestizo Hotel Boutique – A Hidden Gem in Tulum! I had a fantastic experience at Mestizo Hotel Boutique in Tulum! The hotel is located in downtown Tulum, making it a perfect spot for those who want to explore the town, enjoy local restaurants, and experience the vibrant culture. While it’s not directly on the beach, it’s just a short ride away, and the hotel’s peaceful atmosphere more than makes up for it. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and very clean, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. The hotel has a charming, boutique feel that makes it feel like a home away from home. One of the highlights of my stay was the amazing staff—friendly, helpful, and always making sure guests feel welcome. They provided great recommendations for things to do in Tulum and made sure everything was perfect during my stay. The food at the hotel is also excellent, with fresh ingredients and delicious flavors that showcase the best of Mexican cuisine. Overall, if you’re looking for a cozy, stylish, and well-located hotel in Tulum, Mestizo Hotel Boutique is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

Our room was spacious, super clean and comfortable! Staff was excellent and super helpful. The included breakfast was incredible!

The only negatives I would say is that it’s a bit off the beaten path from the main strip. BUT the best street tacos in Mexico are on the corner of Cobra and the main drag so would not have found that taco stand otherwise! I would say you likely want a scooter rented when you stay here but totally worth it and since off main drag it’s quiet at night. The shower does take a few minutes to get warm, so quick shower would have to be a cold one but if you wait for it, it will get hot!

The restaurant and common areas are so colourful and beautiful. Dedicated parking in front of the hotel. Room was spacious with smart TV and mini fridge. Good shower. Comfortable large bed. Restaurant served food all day. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruits and variety of egg options. I had fried eggs with onions, tomatoes, cheese, fried beans with fried plantains and it was so tasty. The service was great.

It's an open plan in the middle ( on top of the pool), so when it rains, the walkways inside get slippery and wet. WiFi in the rooms weren't great but was sufficient to use fb, WA etc.

Location was great, close to the ruins and cenotes and shopping and eating in Tulum. They cleaned the rooms daily, the room has a mini-fridge to put water in, room size was adequate, beds comfortable and noise was not a factor even though hotel was on a very busy street. Their breakfast is complimentary and amazing! Staff were very accommodating and welcoming!

The indoor pool is located in the center between ALL the rooms, feels a bit exposed, our kids did not use the pool but at least they had one to offer.

Very nice stay at the hotel, the location was perfect - 5min from the "city center" with lots of shops, restaurants, bars. beach was approx. 3km away. the personal was super nice and friendly, we had good breakfast and room was cleaned daily. the hotel is in typical Mexican style - very colorful and the paintings on the wall are amazing!! Definitely recommend to stay here!

Wi-Fi was not really stable, the signal was poor but was OK if you need to use it for your phone only. We were missing some more sockets in the room.

Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Breakfast each day was included and very good (can choose from a menu which is rare), the room is really clean with everything you need and the bed is so comfortable! I really recommend this place to everyone visiting Tulum.

Good location that is near to the beach and cenotes. Very kind staff. There is restaurant in front, good food. The breakfast included is various types of eggs, pancakes or waffles and fruit plate and coffee, tea or juice. They even refilled my orange juice, very kind. Room is clean. It was on the roof but the ac managed to cool it down. I read about noise coming from the street. Its just normal noise that you encounter in any city. Not really bad. And I read about windows notification sound being so loud that you can hear it through the whole hotel. That is true but happens once or twice in a night and it is not distracting but actually really funny:) Would reccommend, 10/10

Beautiful charming place, hudge beds, clean rooms, delicious breakfasts. It's placed quite close to the city center, yet few minutes away so it's quiet and calm. the staff is very helpful. I would definitely come back

you have to wait for quite a while for the hot water. It's coming eventually so it's possible to get warm shower.

It's a very interesting place for photos, cooling down on a hot day and good even for some swimming *helpful staff members *great breakfast *beautiful design and lovely paintings all around the hotel *I am vegan so I asked for fresh fruit and fresh orange juice for breakfast only instead of traditional Mexican breakfast and it was not a problem at all. The staff members were very helpful. *free wifi *good location, far from loud bars and restaurants but still walking distance to downtown *supermarkets are just a few minutes walking from the hotel

*Wifi sometimes did not work almost at all in my room. Even in the restaurant it was hard to get a good signal during breakfast. I work online so sometimes it was difficult to get work done when needed. *Unfortunately, there's a huge echo around the hotel. I could hear other guests leaving/entering rooms and talking all the time while they were in the common area or in the swimming pool. I could hear them to my room. Some guests would wake me up at night, others early in the morning even when I was using ear plugs. Not sure if it's because of the thin walls, or swimming pool location in the patio in the middle of the hotel, but I don't think much can be done about it. I guess it also depends on other guests and if they are loud or quiet.

Great independent hotel. Friendly staff. Food very good for Mexico. Much better than we managed to find elsewhere in the town. Convenient for town and close enough to archaeological ruins. Just stayed one night. Great decoration. Large rooms. Good smallish but clean pool. Great budget option.
