Highly Recommended Stay at Hostal del Brujo! I had a fantastic stay at Hostal del Brujo in Tulum Centro. The location is excellent—right in the heart of town, close to shops, restaurants, and easy access to all the main attractions. Despite being so central, it was peaceful and perfect for relaxing. The cleanliness of the hostel was outstanding. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and my bed was super comfortable, making it easy to get a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring. The pool was also a highlight—very clean and well-maintained, perfect for cooling off in the Tulum heat. Overall, I would 100% recommend Hostal del Brujo for anyone looking for an affordable, comfortable, and convenient place to stay in Tulum. I’ll definitely be back!

It is a beautiful newer build with a very modern aesthetic. The bed is very comfy, the bathroom is large and well equipped. The linens and towel are of a luxurious quality. The wall of glass let’s in a lot of light and a lovely view of the pool. The mini fridge and nespresso machine were used regularly. I think the location was good. It’s a bit removed, but still has access to restaurants and banks, pharmacies, etc. It’s a quiet location.

The welcome left a little to be desired.

Location was smack in the center of downtown. 5 mins or less to the main road. The small pool was cleaned everyday and was so refreshing to swim in! The bathroom and the king sized bed were so nice to have. Slept very well and enjoyed the nice decor. Note: they’re NOT a hotel so they will only change your towels if you’re staying longer that 6 days (which we did)

Due to the low tourism season, my friend and I were the only ones there which was a good and a bad thing. We were hoping to meet people but alas there wasn’t anyone else! If you want to meet people on your trip, maybe staying at a hostel would be better.

Very comfy bed, cosy design, clean room, good location with lots of restaurant nearby, no problem with street parking.

There’s no staff available, we needed more toilet paper and had questions but didn’t no how to contact anyone. Would also be nice with cleaning every 2-3 days.

The rooms are very comfy, clean and spacious . All we needed.

This is not a hotel, there are no staff on a front desk. There was a fellow around the property doing clean up and maintenance but it wasn’t obvious if he was around. Not a big deal but just be prepared for it.

Location, pool, value, size and decor of room. The pool was especially lovely. Close to everything we needed-bus, colectivo, great restaurants!

No staff were seen on site for 2 days, no place to put suitcases on or hang clothes. Loud nightclub playing music until 3 AM.

The rooms a nice, everything works well and there is everything you need in the room. The staff is kind and available! The location is great, very central and there’s a street food market 1min away where tacos are very good.

The staff do not speak English but they do their best to communicate !

Everything was exactly how expected, if not more, the room was right in front of the pool but very quiet. Great new decor and modern bathroom with excellent hot water and perfect pressure! WiFi is super fast and working with no issue.

I agree with the other reviews for the missing wardrobe. There is so much space and nothing to hang your clothes, it's a shame as even a small rail would have helped so much more to have a better and more comfortable experience.

Easy to communicate with the host and simple to get our door access code. Very close to everything - The Tulum strip, Oxxo, and the Cenotes. Was very romantic for my girlfriend and I. Would stay here again.

Great property located near the main road with many bars and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean. The air conditioning worked perfectly so the shower with good pressure and hot water. Would definitely come back!
