Property is close to the bus station (walking distance) and colectiva (van that we used to commute around and to Playa del Carmen). Property is also nearby a lot of good restaurants. Location is in a quiet street despite a number of restaurants nearby. Room is great, has a mini kitchen and a balcony. Flexible also in checking in early as the room was already available.

Distance to the beach. This is a little far from the beach and Archeological site but if you dont mind taking the colectiva, then there would not be any problem. You can also walk from the property to the beach but it will take a little over an hour, which probably won't be ideal on a very hot day!

Great value stay. Modern hotel in the centre of Tulum. Staff were friendly and happy to help. The pool in the courtyard was good. Room was really comfortable and we had a balcony room which was nice to have the outdoor space. Location was great near to the restaurants and bars on the centre of Tulum.

Shower was cold but that wasn’t too bad with how hot it was at time of visit. Air con leaked a bit but manageable. Quite loud in the evenings / night from local bars but not the fault of the hotel.

Even better than the photos! We had a great stay in the suite with attached patio and tub. The staff was super helpful answering all of our questions and giving directions. They booked us a tour to Chichen Itza that picked us up at the hotel as well as a taxi transfer to our next hotel. 24/7 attendant at desk. There is a shared kitchen area next to the pool with free bikes to use. Coffee is brewed each morning for guests to enjoy. Our room was cleaned perfectly each day. Awesome location just one block away from the main road. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to all!

There is no elevator but the staff kindly carried all of our bags up the stairs without us asking - just something to note if handicapped. Only real con was that there was no hot water but after talking to other people traveling in this area of Tulum, no hotels in this area have hot water. We got used to it but was a bit of a shock at first to shower with cold water!

We loved the location because it was super close to lots of great restaurants and the staff was super nice! They also had a couple of bikes that were free of charge to use for a couple of hours, which was very useful! The room was nice, and the bed was large and comfortable with AC that kept the room very cool.

The room was not very sound proof. It was a style that had slats in it so you could hear everything going on in the hotel (people up late, people playing music, ect) and I'm sure they could hear us as well, so some privacy was lacked that way. There was also no full length mirror so it was difficult to see what you looked like before heading out for the day!

Friendly staff and modern hotel with clean rooms. Very attentive, the receptionist offered us a room upgrade and we enjoyed our stay. It's located in the busy part of the town and that can be a downside. Overall would recommend.

At night over the weekend you hear the music from the streets. That's the only downside but i guess its all over Tulum the same.

The style of the hotel was very nice. The swimming pool was also very refreshing. Room was spacious enough. Location is perfect in the center of Tulum to reach all bars and restaurants

The Doors of the room have some opening. Style wise look very nice, but temperature wise the air conditioning gets wasted. You must have it on the whole night otherwise after a couple of hours you feel super warm again. At the same time if you leave, the temperature does not hold. Also, this means you can hear everything of what's happening outside and they can hear what's happening inside. Maybe putting a second layer would not be bad

The room was great - the AC working was a plus point - Location was perfect as it was a street away from the main strip. The only drawback was that friday night onwards - there was a lot of noise in the neighbouring area - either people were singing Karaoke but it went on for a while till almost 2 am. Overall, thank you all so much for your wonderful hospitality - the place was amazing and centrally located. It was really nice to stay at the Latino Boutique and you made our stay very comfortable and memorable.

The bikes were broken when we wanted to take it for a ride and didn't get fixed during our 7 day stay which a bummer as we would have loved to ride the bikes around town.

This is a darling hotel. It's off the main avenue and very easy to walk to from the Ado. The staff at the desk were two young folks who made me feel very welcome and answered lots of questions I asked about local attractions. The room was spacious, with lots of seating, a desk, outlets, a fan with a remote for three speeds, an excellent ac, storage, large tv with Netflix, plenty of lighting and outlets, a hammock I could string up, nice bathroom (though might be a bit small if you're 6 feet or larger bodied) with a overhead shower, all the toiletries, shelving, strong water pressure, and towels for use in the pool or to take to the beach as well as use in the room. The room was on the first floor (Pitahaya) and overlooked a hallway that is arranged around a central courtyard and a cute small pool area. The upstairs level has an open seating area and kitchen counter, while the downstairs pool also has seating and kitchen area with microwave and a filtered water canister one can use to refill bottles or the large water jug in one's room. Access to rooms was with metal keys while access to the main door was a code, and post midnight access involves ringing the bell to have the night desk let you in. The wifi was strong (just make sure to type the password exactly--i overlooked the capital letters but they quickly pointed out what I mistyped). I was a solo traveler and felt very safe. It's really quite perfect.

I couldn't figure out the hot water in the shower (C or F were both cold) but it's so mild even in thei winter that it wasn't a big deal.

I called the day booking to ask if their single beds (I needed to separate beds) were on the ground floor since I was traveling with my 81 yr old mom. Staff replied yes and I booked the room. We were both super surprised because the "twin beds" were actually 2 doubles, the room also had dining and kitchen area, a hammock to hang outside if you wanted, pool towels, shower towels, TV, plates and glasses in the kitchen, microwave and a closet. Room was larger than expected and the hotel was very quiet. We went AFTER spring break and our room was in the back so little to no street noise. Plenty of places to eat since it is a block away from the main road. We were not there for the beach - just passing. It was great!

Rooms very nice and clean. The hotel cats were so cute and fun to play with in the mornings! Coffee in the morning was nice. We were there on a weekend and live music played in a close bar until 2330ish. I really liked sitting on the communal balcony area and listening so this was a plus for me. However maybe not everyones enjoyment.

Daily room cleaning (I think) was mandatory, which I find unnecessary. As others have said, doors are made with wooden slats and are not insulated from noise. It was quiet enough to sleep from 2330 when the bars stopped however so no major issue for us.
