We highly recommend Hotel Boutique Murana Tulum to anyone looking for an excellent price-to-quality ratio in a prime central location. We booked well in advance and were delighted to secure a great discount. The room was impeccably clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, offering a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring. The hotel’s facilities were equally well-maintained, adding to the overall experience. A special shout-out to the incredibly welcoming and attentive staff, especially Tere and Cesar, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Their genuine hospitality and helpfulness truly set this place apart.

Being situated on the main avenue, the hotel offers unbeatable convenience for accessing local attractions, restaurants, and shops. While there is some noise at night due to its central location, it didn’t bother us at all, and we slept very comfortably.

The bed was so comfortable!! I really had 2 nights of deep sleep as soon as I lay down on the bed. Definitely the pictures don't do justice to how beautiful the room is, great illumination and it is very well equipped. Mr Cesar ( the front desk attendant) was super nice and kind. Location is great, very near good restaurants and bars. Easy to access the local bus transportation towards the beach.

Honestly nothing I didn't like. The only thing I would point out is that there's some noise from the bars around the site but personally I was not annoyed by it. If you are a light sleeper I might recommend choosing a room facing the inner patio on this hotel. The price and location is worth it.

The location is great and makes the whole city walkable. The room was clean and extremely comfortable. The bed was one of the best I'd slept in in a while. The staff was friendly and helpful and let us store our bags after check out. There's a small shared kitchen with water and a fridge/freezer, which was extremely convenient for us. Overall, the experience felt more than worth the price and we had a delightful stay. I would highly recommend it!

There is a nightclub across the street (the price you pay for a convenient location in Tulum!) and the rooms are not the most soundproofed, so it was a little loud at night. It wasn't unbearable though, and we were both able to sleep just fine! Additionally, while the shower had great water pressure, it didn't always have hot water.

This was my third trip in the last year to Tulum and I’ve had the pleasure of staying at all the main areas. This by far was the most conveniently located when compared to the beach zone, Aldea Zama and Airbnb’s that I’ve stayed in around Centro because of the value you get. The staff was amazing! Room was perfect. I don’t plan on spending much time in the room so I don’t have crazy expectations. It was all the basic necessities and some extras like coffee and water in the lobby. Location is everything and El Capitan is right in the the thick of things. Walking distance to all the delicious restaurants and shopping boutiques in Centro. Ado bus stop is a 5 min walk from the hotel as well. They also offer bicycle rentals which is a huge plus and their prices were very reasonable. I will definitely look to stay here again if I’m traveling solo or with someone.

Great location. Anni was really helpful and gave us some top tips for our visit to Tulum. She was very up front regarding the potential for noise from the nightclub that had recently opened across the road. She let us have the first night before confirming we were happy to stay before making our payment. There was some noise but not that bad that we couldn't handle it using earplugs. Really liked having access to the fridge and coffee facilities in the communal area and balcony. A nice place to relax. Wifi was great. Access to Netflix etc on set top box. Bikes and mopeds avail to hire at a good price and beach towels are free to use. No dedicated parking but plenty of free street parking around the area if you have a car.

Very comfortable beds, spacious rooms, tea/coffee and water available in communal areas. lovely staff on the front desk, especially Anni. Netflix availability was nice for a chill night in. Good value for central location, you can walk to the ADO bus station and collectivo pickup points within 3-4 blocks. loads of nice restaurants and bars within 5 mins walk of the hotel!

Lack of extractor fan/ventilation in bathroom. Three out of four of us slept fine with ear plugs, but the noise from the nightclub opposite was quite bad some days.

Great location in downtown Tulum, and the staff did a great job taking care of us and helping make recommendations for what to do and how to avoid overpaying for activities.

There is a nightclub across the street that is very loud. The hotel gives complementary ear plugs though, and I was usually so tired from exploring that I fell right asleep.

Location was close to the main road and amenities. Friendly staff, big room and nice and clean.

Very noisy at night due to local bars. No drinking water available in the hotel at all, even to buy. No shampoo or shower gel.

great location. comfortable bed. nice shower and very clean. important to mention - apparently there’s a new night club across the street, they are still trying to figure out what to do with that but you can hear some noise at night. they were really amazing with that and told us the moment we arrived and also told us not to pay yet so we could see if we’re ok with that, and in case we weren’t we can cancel the rest of our nights. they also provided ear plugs which we didn’t use as it didn’t bothered us at all.

the refrigerator was in the front desk rather than in our room, not a big deal but that’s the only thing we didn’t like.
