Magical Place is like Tulum 15 years ago, the staff is amazing , the room is cozy and has a feeling of home , beach is fantastic, food is a reasonable price and delicious. I highly recommend this place for whom ever wants to go to the original Tulum

The little piece of paradise in Tulum. Perfectly located in the best area of the hotel zone. Quiet, peaceful and beautiful, right on the water and walking distance to restaurants and boutiques. The room was really nice, clean and comfortable and had air-conditioning. The staff were friendly and very welcoming! Angelo at the restaurant a joy to talk, was so nice and worked tirelessly to ensure everyone happiness and comfort. Having breakfast with an ocean view was so amazing! The only recommendation would be to add more options to the menu. The whole stay was super relaxing and easy. Would definitely stay again!

Need to get more umbrellas for the beach.

The beach front bungalow had the most amazing view of the ocean and was literally right on the beach. The hotel is not luxurious but is tasteful and comfortable, so very OG Tulum with the palapa like roofs and unobstructed ocean views....and, without loud music or any of the hype of the touristic feel that Tulum has become known. Also the location is exactly where you want to be- so many awesome beach clubs and restaurants within minutes of walking. The staff at LUV were incredible- attentive and so nice to work with- it was an awesome, relaxing experience. LOVE LUV!

The service was great but the food was not a 10 in my opinion and a bit pricey for what is was, however, the location allows for trying so many amazing restaurants that it did not matter.

My partner and I were looking for a smaller, affordable, no-frills (but romantic) hotel with a private beach, and not only was LUV Tulum perfect for this, but it exceeded all of our expectations. The entire staff was friendly and accommodating, and was always happy to give us recommendations for places to go, things to do, etc. The food and drinks were delicious, and the continental breakfast, while light, was great. LUV is a small place, which makes the whole experience feel more catered and intimate. The beach and facilities were kept extremely clean and the hotel made a point of cleaning the excess seaweed (sargasso) each morning. We went on one of the hotel's private excursions to the Coba ruins and the jungle and it was SO fun. Could not recommend this place enough. We will be back for sure!

Each "room/suite" is a private cabin with a thatched roof, which isn't an issue in and of itself however, it does little to keep out bugs and mice. But that also just comes with being in the jungle- just something to keep in mind! There's also no AC, but all the doors are screened so you can sleep with them open and enjoy the ocean breeze.

Great staff and location was gorgeous right on the beach. The rooms were airconditioned and serviced daily. The area was amazing as it was walking distance to a lot of restaurants and bars and right on the beach.

There was no fridge in the rooms and we were informed we were not allowed to bring in our own food or drink to the hotel due to animals which was quite inconvenient. The toilet flush and water preassure in the hotel was a slight issue as the flush intermittently worked. The lighting in the room at night is extremely dim and we had to use our phone flash lights to find things. For the price we expected more but it was still an enjoyable holiday

Highly recommend LUV. The is a gem of a place. Felt like a home from home, which is a breath of fresh air amongst neighbouring big over the top resorts. Lovely rooms, the beach, breakfast / bar spot is just fantastic. Staff were amazing and the room was kept impeccably clean. Must try the spicy margaritas!

We loved LUV - only slight negative was the shower lost hot water a few times, but it was a hot day and wasn’t an issue. Perhaps the bamboo armchair could be a bit comfier but that’s being super picky.

The location was great, far away enough from the busier sections of the hotel zone so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The rooms are simple, clean and comfortable. It really did feel like Tulum from several years ago. The beach in front of the property was probably the best part of the whole stretch of beaches, and the staff did a great job keeping the sargassum in check.

Some minor things could use more maintenance, like the lock on the door to our room was rusted out, but they promptly replaced it as soon as we brought it up. There was a lovely little area with tables and chairs behind our palapa but it seemed like it hadn’t been used for a while so the chairs and tables could’ve used a wipe.

Luv is a great place, the location is perfect especially if you want a quiet place but still not far from bars and restaurants. The room was great, and the owners and stuff were extremely welcoming and helpful. I had a wonderful weekend. Highly recommended

Just to make it not seem a fake review and after thinking long and hard ... maybe breakfast could be a bit more diverse or abundant but in reality I enjoyed everything and I will go back and highly recommend the place.

Arturo the manager over there made everything so easy for us he helped in everything with his full effort always updated with what we need. Truly an amazing place felt like home. Can’t wait to visit again❤️

The location is amazing, very relaxing and peaceful. All the staff are lovely human beings, always happy to help with a smile! We had a beautiful and spacious room right on the beach. Perfection!
