We’ve stayed at Chiringito twice now. The property situated perfectly in South Tulum, nestled into a quieter area away from the crazy nightlife, surrounded by outstanding restaurants, studios, and spas. The staff is fantastic; Mathias, the onsite manager, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The restaurant and bar staff are friendly, engaging, and attentive. Gregorio, Santos, and Constanza, took great care of us. There’s also a fantastic kiteboarding school onsite. Andre is a great instructor; patient and experienced.

The property is excellent for our family.

Thankfully, I found this hotel after my AirBNB was cancelled for no apparent reason. The room was spacious enough for my partner and I. I loved the outside terrace. We also had a private pool upstairs. Pool in hotel was spectacular.

Private pool has a lot of ants , therefore, I was unable to actually get in my private pool. Sand by the beach had a lot of ants, so I was unable to walk barefooted in sand. Food was expensive. However, all of these things are to be expected in the hotel zone. While visiting other beachfronts at different hotels, I did notice that they did not have ants in their sand … atleast from what I can see.

We had a great stay at Chiringuito Tulum. We were there for 8 days on our honeymoon. It's very small and intimate, which was perfect for us, and less expensive than many of the other hotels in the beach area. The property is beautiful--right on the beach, but also surrounded by maintained jungle plants. We had a deluxe room with a private dip pool on the roof. The room was beautiful and very clean, and we loved spending time on the roof. Air conditioning and wifi worked great the whole time. The wifi even reached out to the beach with full signal, which was amazing. Every staff member at the hotel was friendly and approachable, great service. The food at the restaurant was amazing, including the very detailed continental breakfast. There were a few days that we had to leave the hotel before breakfast time to go on tours, and they gave us a boxed meal the night before that we could eat instead. The beach club was really nice and never crowded. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The whole place was just calm, peaceful, and beautiful and allowed us to decompress and rest post-wedding.

The only suggestion I have is that they add an in-house bike rental. The beach road is very long and Chiringuito Tulum is pretty far down the road, so it's not very easy to get into town or up and down the beach road without a taxi. There aren't bike rentals within a reasonable distance of the hotel so it wasn't super easy to move around.

The staff was very nice and the location was perfect. Close to everything but still very quiet and on a great stretch of beach. Awesome view. Rooms were EXCEPTIONALLY clean. I've stayed in a lot of beachside hotels and boutique hotels, and I have never had a room this clean and bug-free.

Would have been nice if they offered included hot breakfast and had food available after lunch (restaurant not open for dinner, no place to grab a drink on the property). They also shut the water off at night without warning, so I had to go ask the staff to turn it on.

This is a lovely cozy hotel on the beach. We had an ocean view room and it was great. Great service and friendly staff. They packed us a great breakfast when we went on an excursion in the morning and it was really cool. I highly recommend this hotel if you want to enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean, silence and the morning surf.

Tulum as it should be. Boutique, with just a few rooms, laid back, perfect setting, the people that run it and make it work so well. It's an amazing vibe. Rooms are polished concrete and stylishly simple. Simple things; filtred water always topped up, perfect housekeeping, breakfast healthy and perfectly done. Selfishly, I wish it were an adults-only place; just to keep that vibe up - but it isn't and they make everyone welcome. We've stayed a lot, we always come back.

This thing with clouds and rain just appearing out of nowhere in December? Seriously, the management has to fix that, right? ;)

The property was exceptional! The grounds were well maintained and the palm trees and other foliage made it seem very natural. The main pool was aesthetically pleasing and very clean. the beach was fabulous and there was plenty of comfortable seating to lounge on. they raked away the seaweed everyday which in Tulum is a huge deal. the staff was helpful, attentive, and accommodating. I really have no complaints and I am already planning a trip to return.

I wish there was railings going up to our room. it was concrete steps and made me nervous because I’m clumsy. just railings along the wall side so I could have felt more secure.

Restaurant food was some of the best we've had in Tulum. In addition, the restaurant service was excellent and staff attentive. The beach set-up was great - nice music playing and attentive staff.

We booked the room with the Deluxe Private Pool and wish we had not. The private pool area was not clean upon arrival and despite asking the staff to address it, it remained the same. I would recommend removing the cushions altogether since the space is open to the elements. Plus, there's a nice pool on property that far exceeds the quality of the private pool within the room. Upon check-out, the staff did give us a discount on our incidentals to address the quality issues.

I didn't like the fact that the shower was clogged and the bathroom was like a pool everytime we took a shower.. also, too much sand around the hotel.. the room gets dirty so fast.
