We had a great stay at Chiringuito Tulum. We were there for 8 days on our honeymoon. It's very small and intimate, which was perfect for us, and less expensive than many of the other hotels in the beach area. The property is beautiful--right on the beach, but also surrounded by maintained jungle plants. We had a deluxe room with a private dip pool on the roof. The room was beautiful and very clean, and we loved spending time on the roof. Air conditioning and wifi worked great the whole time. The wifi even reached out to the beach with full signal, which was amazing. Every staff member at the hotel was friendly and approachable, great service. The food at the restaurant was amazing, including the very detailed continental breakfast. There were a few days that we had to leave the hotel before breakfast time to go on tours, and they gave us a boxed meal the night before that we could eat instead. The beach club was really nice and never crowded. There are tons of restaurants and shops nearby. The whole place was just calm, peaceful, and beautiful and allowed us to decompress and rest post-wedding.

The only suggestion I have is that they add an in-house bike rental. The beach road is very long and Chiringuito Tulum is pretty far down the road, so it's not very easy to get into town or up and down the beach road without a taxi. There aren't bike rentals within a reasonable distance of the hotel so it wasn't super easy to move around.

Thankfully, I found this hotel after my AirBNB was cancelled for no apparent reason. The room was spacious enough for my partner and I. I loved the outside terrace. We also had a private pool upstairs. Pool in hotel was spectacular.

Private pool has a lot of ants , therefore, I was unable to actually get in my private pool. Sand by the beach had a lot of ants, so I was unable to walk barefooted in sand. Food was expensive. However, all of these things are to be expected in the hotel zone. While visiting other beachfronts at different hotels, I did notice that they did not have ants in their sand … atleast from what I can see.

We’ve stayed at Chiringito twice now. The property situated perfectly in South Tulum, nestled into a quieter area away from the crazy nightlife, surrounded by outstanding restaurants, studios, and spas. The staff is fantastic; Mathias, the onsite manager, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The restaurant and bar staff are friendly, engaging, and attentive. Gregorio, Santos, and Constanza, took great care of us. There’s also a fantastic kiteboarding school onsite. Andre is a great instructor; patient and experienced.

The property is excellent for our family.

The staff was very nice and the location was perfect. Close to everything but still very quiet and on a great stretch of beach. Awesome view. Rooms were EXCEPTIONALLY clean. I've stayed in a lot of beachside hotels and boutique hotels, and I have never had a room this clean and bug-free.

Would have been nice if they offered included hot breakfast and had food available after lunch (restaurant not open for dinner, no place to grab a drink on the property). They also shut the water off at night without warning, so I had to go ask the staff to turn it on.

Restaurant food was some of the best we've had in Tulum. In addition, the restaurant service was excellent and staff attentive. The beach set-up was great - nice music playing and attentive staff.

We booked the room with the Deluxe Private Pool and wish we had not. The private pool area was not clean upon arrival and despite asking the staff to address it, it remained the same. I would recommend removing the cushions altogether since the space is open to the elements. Plus, there's a nice pool on property that far exceeds the quality of the private pool within the room. Upon check-out, the staff did give us a discount on our incidentals to address the quality issues.

The property was exceptional! The grounds were well maintained and the palm trees and other foliage made it seem very natural. The main pool was aesthetically pleasing and very clean. the beach was fabulous and there was plenty of comfortable seating to lounge on. they raked away the seaweed everyday which in Tulum is a huge deal. the staff was helpful, attentive, and accommodating. I really have no complaints and I am already planning a trip to return.

I wish there was railings going up to our room. it was concrete steps and made me nervous because I’m clumsy. just railings along the wall side so I could have felt more secure.

Tulum as it should be. Boutique, with just a few rooms, laid back, perfect setting, the people that run it and make it work so well. It's an amazing vibe. Rooms are polished concrete and stylishly simple. Simple things; filtred water always topped up, perfect housekeeping, breakfast healthy and perfectly done. Selfishly, I wish it were an adults-only place; just to keep that vibe up - but it isn't and they make everyone welcome. We've stayed a lot, we always come back.

This thing with clouds and rain just appearing out of nowhere in December? Seriously, the management has to fix that, right? ;)

The room was very big and very clean, beautifully designed and furnished. The breakfast was very good for a continental breakfast with fresh fruits and pastry. There is a wide selection of wine and other drinks. The beach is quiet (as we desired) without loud music or partypeople. If you want to party its a short walk (about 15 minutes) to the partyzone. The garden and poolarea are very beautiful and well maintained. The employee at the Reception was very friendly and helpful. Thank you Jonathan!

Everthing was good, its quite pricy for Mexico but we have learned that's normal in Tulum Beach...

A beautiful boutique hotel in a stunning area of tulum, quiet but still walkable to everything. beds were super comfortable & we loved the room decor. LOVED the private pool on the roof, really glad we stayed in one of these. Also their main pool is lovely too. The breakfast was amazing too, freshly baked delicious croissants & bread, and a great food plate. We didn’t miss an American breakfast at all, not in that heat!! Read some reviews before staying here with people complaining about bugs and/or AC or smells, honestly if these things bother you maybe think about staying somewhere other than tulum! A beach/jungle location with no electricity only generators, will sometimes affect AC and of course there will be bugs! there’s not much they can do about that! (AC worked great when we were there)

The seaweed atm is a shame all across tulum sadly, if you want a seaweed free swim Caleta Tankah about 25 mins drive away is amazing - fresh sea water lagoon on the beach with cold water - delicious!!

Great location, in a quiet area of the “strip” but a short walk to loads of restaurants. The furthest we walked was 10 minutes but most evenings we were venturing 5 minutes walk. The room was beautiful, clean, spacious. I don’t think I’ve slept that well in a few years now! Jonathan and the rest of the concierge team were so helpful. Jenny served us breakfast everyday and was always so smiley. The staff were always so friendly and created a very calming experience.
