We had a lovely family room with two double beds and a bunk bed. The room was great, spacious, clean, comfortable and even though not beach front, we still had a beach view!!! The shower is not hot. It’s barely luke warm, but was fine for us. The staff there are lovely and work really hard to make sure you’re welcome. The security staff on site make it super safe. Shout out to the managers: Damian, Ricardo and Manoel and the security at the car park who was there from 7to7. Location is perfect and close to restaurants and shops. This is Tulum, so it’s not cheap to eat out. Food is delicious everywhere though!! The pool is ok, but we barely used it as the sea was super warm and crystal clear! The beach is perfect! White sand that stay white when wet, so the water is turquoise. One of the nicest beaches I’ve ever been too; absolute paradise. Selina has its own sun loungers on the beach and pool and sun beds by the pool. We don’t have to use the beach clubs. The beach club is convenient for food and drinks and you can still order even if not in its sun beds. We were worried how loud it would be in the evening and it was fine; we all slept. We were there mid December, before Christmas, which is a quieter time. From after Christmas it will be a different, more party crowd coming for the DJ festivals.

A hot shower would have been nice. The pool can be worked on.

If it's are 4pm that will be better. As I can chill a little bit longer by the beach or pool after lunch then play the volleyball.  Michelle, Emmanuel, and others in reception, Thanks for providing the transportation and other advice.  Especially thanks to Emmanuel, who helped me to update my booking as I keep extended my stay and make a mistake.  I don't  need to worry about my stay.  I have a very pleasant stay at 4 bed dorm with bunk bed.  It's quiet on weekday. Only party music on Friday (before 12pm) and Sat (1pm). So enjoy the vibe of you visit on the weekend.  24 hours AC on and with hot shower, shower gel, hand soap and conditioner. Full of activities over the week.  Co-working place and must activities are free  now.  As Selina is under restructure and wanna Target digital nomad and provide relaxing place instead of party hostel images.  Likely they will increase the price. 

As. Dorm bed, the cleanup service not as like as the private room. Need to request in person v with the cleaning staff if need request. The cup in the kitchen always missing as ppl not return it after use.

The bunk bed I stay ( not the twin bed in the room) with a low ceiling, can't sit up straight even for a very short person. The lock in my upper bed is not working. The kitchen does not have enough cup. Or ppl take it out and not return to the kitchen.

Amazing Stay in Oceanfront Cabins! I recently stayed in one of the oceanfront cabins, and I have to say it was an unforgettable experience. The view of the sea was simply breathtaking—waking up to the sound of waves and watching the sunset from the comfort of my room was magical. The cabin itself was cozy, clean, and had all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The location of the hotel was perfect, just steps away from the beach and close to local attractions, yet quiet enough to feel like a private escape. One staff member, in particular, stood out. I can’t remember his name, but he was a young blonde guy with striking blue eyes. He was always friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. His recommendations for local spots and activities were spot on and made my trip even better. I truly appreciated his excellent service! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway with beautiful ocean views and great hospitality. I can’t wait to return!

Really nice place, lovely staff and clean shared bathrooms.

The beach Mia is situated right in the middle of the place and that sets a dominant vibe throughout the day. It would have been lively with more chilled common areas for grabbing a slow sundowner with co-travellers. In my view it seems to cater to much to the Tulum beach club vibe with weird half nude podium dancers during the day. Had hoped for more chilled, yoga, sundowner/Bob Marley vibe.. But apparently Tulum has changed a lot the last 5-10 years

You feel there like home. Free activities for guests (yoga, workouts and so on)

Prices for food in the area.are pretty high and the restaurant in the hotel are has insane.prices (it does not belong to the hotel though) When tjere was a storm at the sea, rain and wind were getting into our room trough the windows and doors, so we had lakes on the floor

The location was perfect. It was really in the perfect spot of Zona Hotelera, so many beach clubs and restaurants could reached by foot. We also liked that we felt very safe in the hotel, as there was security all the time. Room was also very spacious and the AC was working perfectly (which meant A LOT with the humidity).

The information we were provided at the arrival date could have been better. For example, we didn't know that we had 20% discount on all food and drinks at the MIA beach club that was a part of Selina. Also, the private bathroom we had was leaking water so it always had wet floors. The water from the bathtub and sink was salty, it was rather unpleasant to wash the teeth (but I am not sure whether it is like that everywhere in Tulum).

Fantastic hostel, location on the beach is world class, you are waking up to paradise every day, simply can not beat it! kitchen facilities were good very affordable price in the shared dorms which are nice and clean. staff were very friendly, I met lots great people here and made some great memories.

I tried to cancel my final night with the hostel at reception and gave plenty of notice to do so but they rejected, I thought this was very harsh from them, my plans changed and they did not support this at all even though I gave them 5 days notice and was already staying there in a different building. Location is fantastic however you are a long way from any major supermarket so you need to be organised with food or expect to pay premium prices on everything, also bike hire is very expensive £15 GBP per day, Music is played very loud until around midnight so be prepared for that.

Had an amazing time at Selina - had to stay longer and spent 7 nights there. Phenomenal staff, incredibly friendly and helpful. It had a beautiful location just at the beach with fantastic, diverse activities such as cacao ceremony or temazcal. Dorms are clean, only one bathroom though per person. Even though quite expensive for backpackers, it was very worthwhile!

There could be more hangout places for hostel guests and it was a bit overpriced considering the decor and bathroom availability in the dorms. For rooms, the price was also high enough.

The property was well taken care of and everything was nice and close together between rooms beach and activities. I loved the free yoga in the morning right down by the beach and ocean ! We also took in the tezmacal experience and it was very new and very different but we enjoyed it.

If you had a room with ocean view it was nice to sit out on the balcony at night and look out to the ocean but when we were there , the music from the beach bar was so loud you couldn’t enjoy sitting out on the balcony . The party went till about midnight but if you plan to go to bed early you might want to bring earplugs or headphones. But if you like to rave on the beach, you’ll enjoy this place!
