Having now stayed at Riad Villa Blanche, I would first like to address some previous guests negative comments: 1. Could have been closer to the beach/was a long way from the centre - I find this incredulous in the internet era. When you are searching for your destination hotel/riad there is always a map location tab, use it to avoid disappointment. It’s a 5 min walk to beach and 10 min taxi to the Souk!! However, once at the riad, I did not want or need to leave. (I'm a frequent Morocco visitor anyway) 2. The food and drink is expensive/ the menu is only in French - You are staying in a 4* hotel in a French speaking, non drinking country. All the staff speak English. Why not find it exotic and sexy and use your AI phone to translate the menu or ask a waiter, the staff are superb. ( I didn’t think it was expensive, about right) Now for my review. This place is pure escapism if you are, dare I say, of the more well travelled and cultured fraternity. For those of you that are, you will understand when I say it has a perfect blend of faded grandeur and elegance, with modern functioning facilities. There is even a very discrete modern touch button elevator. Sure the paint is peeling a bit. This makes it just right. We gladly pay money to buy this look as ornaments and furniture, why criticise it in its rightful place. If you want sharp, go to Dubai (and then see what they charge you for food and cocktails) The staff are so attentive, polite and always smiling, and the facilities and environment are some of the best I’ve experienced. It's super clean everywhere and there is a lot to clean. You get robes, slippers, chocolates on your pillow every night and candles lit at turndown. There are so many nooks and seating areas to find and enjoy a different perspective from. I loved chilling on the day bed after a hard day in the sun around the pool. The spa was lovely, with its low lighting and muted mantra melodies.

My only comment from the Deluxe room I was in 312 compared to other Riads, is this room was functionally furnished and did not have the true exotic feel of riad once inside (bedroom only) bathroom is typical. Some of the other room photos, look more culturally furnished. I am going to return with my wife and I would want it to feel more romantic, but I have others to compare it to on this aspect. The black out curtains worked really well

The Riad is so beautiful, and even though showing it’s age, very quaint and traditional. The Spa is to die for! A lovely oasis with a wonderful heated pool, jacuzzi and gym that is free to use for guests. Many services offered for a price. I do recommend the Hammam body scrub, steam room with eucalyptus and/or massage. So relaxing and peaceful. Beware, the outside pool is not heated! I really enjoyed having a relaxing drink in the central courtyard during the quiet afternoons, listening to the water fountain with roses and jasmine floating in it. Truly the Riad is a magical building with many little alcoves to escape to and read a book or socialize with other guests over a mint tea and pastries! I was a little surprised that the staff spoke mostly French and the ambience and cuisine was French. There were a few Moroccan dishes on the menu though. In the evenings candles were lit and placed everywhere, it was so romantic, as well as elegant, but very comfortable, cozy and welcoming. It is a magical haven where I could escape from the pressures of everyday life! Room service everyday with fresh flowers in the room, as well as turning down the bed, lighting candles and leaving little chocolates on the pillows every night! I felt like a princess! The Riad is located so close to the Promenade and beach, (5 min. walk),and in a quiet residential area. I will most certainly return!

Take note that there is no 24 hour room service or kettle to make tea/coffee in the room. You have to order such things through reception, for a price. I tried checking out at 6:30am, but there was no one at reception! No 24 hour reception either! Although they are very accommodating if you check in late. You have to let them know in advance. I also found the service quite slow. However, If I spoke to staff in regard to bringing me food and drinks to any public area of the Riad, eg; pool, courtyard, garden, etc. it was delivered promptly. Very friendly and thoughtful staff!

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful Riad. The staff were helpful & friendly to us. They helped us make reservations for excursions, taxis & shows. We took full advantage of the room service during our stay, which was such a great treat. The Spa & massages were expensive but a lovely experience. They are exceptionally proud of their continental breakfast! 😁 The location is a good 10mins walk from the beach & if you're energetic enough you can even walk over the dunes. If you're an early riser first thing in the morning is a wonderful time to experience the beach. We also used the lovely beach bar at the Sofitel which was a lovely find for quality cocktails & lunch or to watch the sunset. Expensive though! We found some of the restaurants a bit hit & miss regardless of reviews. Morocco has taught me to be a little more patient as everything is slow! It's the Moroccan way 😊

I found the Riad & a lot of the restaurants surprisingly expensive & in some cases comparable to London prices. However, with a little exploration you can find some wonderful & delicious restaurants for a fraction of the price offering a far better service & food. Note that not all serve alcohol though. No tea or coffee facilities in the room. Coffee quite expensive too!

Amazing , luxurious and as good as photos . Good food and friendly staff .

There was no kettle in the room and only black and mint tea available at the bar . We weee staying in the suite and I would expect Nespresso machine and kettle with choice of various teas as standard. Also there was no an English translates menu in the restaurant , only French .

Traditional authentic RIAD. COLONIAL STYLING. LIKE A NON PRETENTIOUS FILMSET. A small collection of local and North African staff who are friendly, warm, professional. Staff who take pride in their work Breakfasts!!! Don’t rush a breakfast. It’s an event!! Dining room. I had the best risotto I’ve ever had. The outdoor pool The indoor pool and jacuzzi The hamman and massage package. Great value and dealt with respect. Loved my little lady who applied volcanic soap, SCRUBBED me whilst we both giggled, washed my hair etc ! Danielle’s quiet massage so good

All perfect. DO NOT BOOK if you want fast food, loud music by the pool, entertainment, karaoke, over familiar staff pushing ‘excursions’, drinks, or the bar menu by the pool

This property is such a hidden gem with many not even knowing it exists. The furniture, the atmosphere and the staff are all excellent and so helpful. It feels so authentic but still modern and stylish. The property is stunning, it smells lovely. The rooms are large and spacious and the private balconies are also lovely, the quality of the food is top notch. Nothing was too much of an ask. I would say the room itself was on the cheaper side but the food and drinks are quite expensive however, for the quality, I’d say it’s well worth it.

My only gripe would be that mid massage my messier was switched out and this wasn’t communicated to me which was a bit alarming. Additionally, the smell that comes from the jacuzzi when the button is pressed is a bit odd, it smells like a drainage issue.

Lovely pools, large and comfortable room, quiet. Delicious food and really friendly and efficient staff. Beautiful hotel and garden. Had 4 meals there, French and Moroccan food, all excellent !

Needs new towels in bathroom (a bit on the rough side) Pool side loungers mattresses worn out. Pool area stone flags need repointing Balcony railing is rusty Curtains in room need replacing or washing. Toilet paper is of very poor quality for hotel of this category . This place could easily get a 5 stars, but it seems that there is a bit of “laisser aller” on the part of the management.

We stayed here as part of my 30th birthday celebrations and it did not disappoint. the Riad itself is gorgeous, with plenty of spaces to relax outside the rooms. The staff were lovely, really friendly and happy to help with booking taxis, or providing restaurant recommendations. The hotel restaurant was top quality, great service and a lovely ambiance. The Riad is set slightly away from the main strip of big hotels, so it has a really relaxed feel. We didn't use the outside pool, but the indoor spa was lovely.

The hotel restaurant menus are only in French, we used the translator apps on our phones so it wasn't too much of a hassle. The Riad is about a 20min walk from the local restaurants, but there is a footpath and easy to navigate. There is no tea/coffee provision in the rooms.

The staff were extremely helpful. The room comfortable with the perfect balcony to watch the amazing sunsets. We loved both pools, the outdoor pool was refreshing and the indoor pool like a warm bath. Short walk to the beautiful beach. Couldn’t of been better, we highly recommend Le Riad Villa Blanche.

The hotel is absolutely stunning. I wanted an authentic Moroccan hotel and this fit the bill. We had a standard room but it was huge and beautifully furnished. The spa, bar and pool areas were well appointed and stylish. My favourite place to sit was in the courtyard having a glass of wine. Breakfast was wonderful too.

The food was okay but the menu was a little stuffy and what we ate had little flavour. I would have preferred more Moroccan choices and some mezze options. A separate light lunch menu of salads and sandwiches would be good too.
