I had a wonderful experience at this hotel! The location is perfect, with all excursions and attractions nearby. The staff was fantastic, friendly and always helpful. There is a money exchange with a good rate just around the corner 1min walk. My room was clean and had a balcony, which was a nice touch. Even though the hotel is in the city center, the street noise wasn’t an issue once the window was closed. The shower had hot water at all times, and I had no problems with it. It’s not the most modern hotel, but for the price and location, it was perfect for me. A great bonus is the rooftop with tables and a bar, an ideal spot to relax after a day of exploring. Highly recommended!

One time there was no hot water, but I came back at midnight so it might have been used throughout the day from other guests. In the morning it came back to normal

Hotel was great location easily accessible from all places, including the souk, restaurants and taxis. Despite the other reviews our room wasn't noisy I believe it just depends on how light of a sleeper you are and if you have the window open. However, we did visit during Ramadam so understandably we heard some prayers. Room was great size and suited our needs perfectly. Staff were more than accommodating with a early check, bag storage and printing.

The wifi works great in reception however it is a little weak in the room but it wasn't an issue we were grateful they had working wifi. This is as expected for the price but just a helpful tip there are no amenities in the room so bring your own, this being said there is a shop right next door along with the souk and restaurants.

The hotel is located right at the old medina itself! We stayed in the room with balcony where we enjoyed all the drama and colours just looking from our balcony! The receptionist, Ayoub, has been exceptionally helpful all throughout our stay, and I want to especially mention Ateeqa, the housekeeper, who treated us with warmth and respect, she made it us feel at home and ensured that our room is immaculately clean and smelling fresh! She was the best hotel staff I’ve ever met so far in all of my travels abroad, she is the kind of hotel staff that I would like to see in my accommodation, how lovely she is and always willing to help and make us happy in our room! I will always come back to Ichbilia hotel just because of Ateeqa ❤️!

Extremely central to the market square, clean and tidy. It was primarily used as a location for a pickup point for our Mount Toubkal expedition hike. Extremely happy with this hotel and would happily stay here again.

If your looking for peace and quiet, this is not for you due to the nightlife from the market as it is still lively through until 3am. It suited us as we were only there for the one night

Perfect location. 30 second walk from the main square and surrounded by shops and restaurants on one of the main streets. Staff very helpful. Free WiFi which is essential in Morocco due to no EU data roaming etc. Room was great for the price, comfortable and clean. Cannot recommend enough for this price!

The hotel is ideally located, just a short walk from Jemaa El Fna square, making it a perfect base for exploring the area. It offers great prices and comfortable accommodations. I would like to extend a special thanks to Mohamed and the rest of the staff, who were always friendly and incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Highly recommend!

Great location. Couldn’t thank Mohammed and Fadela more for everything they helped me and my family with. The hotel room was surprisingly quieter than I expected as I had read in the reviews that the rooms are noisy. The hotel room was spotless thanks to the lovely housekeeper Fadela. Internet was also really good which I was surprised after reading the reviews.

I just wish there was a lift. I think most places in the medina don’t have a lift. Everything else was perfect

location was perfect. room was very clean and cleaner was in daily, in rooms and all around the hotel staff were lovely, warm, friendly and very helpful staff were on site 24 hours. I felt safe and comfortable here I have been here twice before and intend to return

The street is noisy, the solution is to put soundproof coating on the inside of the window glass.
