I really enjoyed my stay at Riad Dar Tamlil. I got a super friendly welcome with a glass of mint tea, which was a nice touch after travelling for a long time. My room was clean and comfortable, with a good bed, a small sitting area, and a private shower. The riad itself is beautifully decorated in a traditional Moroccan style, and the rooftop terrace is a great place to chill out. Breakfast was tasty and well taken care of every morning. A big shoutout to Hicham, who is such a kind and helpful man. He was always around and working hard. He really adds something special to the place. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and welcoming. The location is great, right between Jemaa el-Fnaa and Place des Ferblantiers. This means you’re close to the Bahia and Badi palaces, and just around the corner from Passage Prince Moulay Rachid, where you’ll find lots of nice restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

My room was excellent - very comfortable & very clean. There was an AC / Heating unit which I did not need to use. The location of the riad is perfect - a few minutes walk from the main square down streets that felt very safe, even late at night. Staff were friendly, helpful. Large roof terrace which allowed for quietness & space even when it was occupied by a few different guests.

Breakfast each morning was fine - pain au chocolat, fresh bread, msemen, jams, amlou, laughing cow, coffee. It could have been improved by a little variation some days but still there was nothing wrong with what was provided.

The location is good. Just 5 mins walking from Jema AlFeena. Despite the narrow street, it's easy to be found following the instructions. Breakfast is good— some bread and spread, coffee & milk and simple pastries. Love the rooftop area where you can chill and relax

The room was a bit small but comfortable for 2 pax with 2 luggages. If you got the room on the second floor, you have to bring your luggage through narrow stairs, but nothing that we feel bad about. We are okay with it. Just it's probably not possible with people with immobility or old folkes. Wifi is okay but not perfect.

The location was fantastic and the courtyard was beautiful. The room was fairly large with two small beds and a couch. The shower was hot and extra towels and blankets were provided. Sunrise breakfast on the terrace was fantastic. The area was quiet and AC/heating was available in the room. Wi-Fi was fast. The location is literally perfect--quiet but right next to all the places worth seeing in Marrakech.

Be aware that your room isn't noise-insulated, but all the rooms open into the private courtyard, so there is no street-noise. The terrace is peaceful, but does not have a view. I don't think most terraces outside of the main square do, so it's not a problem at all. The entrance is very safe, but that means you must knock to enter whenever you come back to the riad.

My stay at this hotel was fantastic! I loved the traditional Moroccan decor in the room—it felt authentic and charming. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower always had hot water, which was great. The breakfast, though simple, was very tasty, and the staff’s attention was outstanding—always friendly and helpful. I’d definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return soon!

My stay at the hotel was great overall, but one area for improvement would be the showers. The curtains weren’t long enough, so water would leak out from the bottom, creating a large puddle every time I showered. It would be great if this could be addressed to make the experience even better for future guests.

Beautiful and well looked after property compared to the other riads we stayed in! This riad was elevated and stylish! Mixing traditional and modern perfectly!! The gentleman was so kind as I had to leave very early in the morning and was worried about walking alone to the taxi….he made sure I was well taken care of and got someone to meet me at the hotel and help me with my bags too…. He also made sure to provide me with a breakfast!! Really the sweetest and kindest….he went out of his way!! Hospitality at its best! Thank you 😊

Everything was perfect!

The staff were lovely . I was met with mint tea and cookies and when I had to leave early in the morning before the designated breakfast time I was given an orange juice and pastry to go . The location is excellent. Right in the medina and very close to Jemaa el Fnaa and Tinsmith Square. My room was large with adorable windows that opened into the courtyard and bathroom was clean and had no smell . The Riad was also the first I stayed in that had a real open roofed courtyard. The roof terrace was very comfortable too .

Excellent location in the Medina only 3 minute walk to Jemaa el Fnaa Square. Lots of restaurants close by. Served a very nice breakfast and got it ready early if you had to leave before breakfast hours. The owner was amazing and walked me to catch my excursion as it was very early in the morning. Very quiet and tucked away off the main street. The staff us the jewel at this Riad and went out of their way for their guests. Rooftop.patio was beautiful.

You don't get a key to the front door and must ring or knock to be let in but this was never a problem in my 5 days at the Riad. Also you can only pay for your stay in cash.

The staff is absolutely amazing. We were welcomed beautifully with a mint tea. The courtyard is stunning and you definitely feel you're in Morocco. The location is very good, the riad is inside the Medina, so you're a walking distance from the main square and all its vibrant life. Breakfast is simple but very good, with an amazing orange juice, croissant, cheese, bread, coffee, jam and a couple of other things. We definitely recommend it.

The toilet was very small and everything would get wet fairly quickly. The shower only had a curtain which wasn't very nice if you wanna relax in the shower after a long day. And it's not an ideal place to come if you've rented a car because it's only accessible by foot. And I wouldn't recommend arriving super late as the alleys can be a bit confusing.

The location was very good, close to the Jemaa el-Fnaa. There are restaurants a few minutes walk away. Everything was very clean. The person at the reception and the lady who runs the riad were very nice 😍!!!The breakfast was very good. We had the opportunity to feel the authenticity of the place and we loved it. Thank you very much 😊

The water in the shower had no pressure, but it didn't necessarily bother us.
