Riad is very pretty, located in Sale old town. The area is very safe, few minutes walk to catch a taxi (we also used Careem app), the owners always smiling, breakfast was nice, local style - roti, egg, bread, butter, marmalade , bed was comfortable, we had the blue room with jacuzzi which was nice and the terrace room for our 2 teens. Blue room is a very pretty room. Terrace room has a TV and the terrace with table and chairs on top.

The stairs to the terrace room are very steep - not recommend to older people or with limited mobility, the bathroom door in the terrace room was barely closing, humidity smell in the bathrooms. Bed in the terrace room was a bit hard.

Beautiful, traditional riad. Sumptuous decorations and lots of room in our bedroom. Exceptional details, like the paintings on the walls and the greenery of the plants add a perfect finish to the design. The staff are warm, genuine and welcoming. It was the quietest Riad we stayed in , you could make the room really dark at night, so great for getting the best sleep. We wished we could have stayed longer. Excellent location away from the hustle of the Medina in Rabat we loved getting the ferry across for just MAD 2.5 each.. Just walk to the mosque overlooking the sea and follow around to the left until you get to the new marina development. Only MAD 50 to get a petit taxi to the airport which we located a short walk away.

Great family (limited English) run riad, very kind and helpful hosts. Facilities were all clean and good, breakfast was good. The area itself is good for people who want a quiet but lived in médina where they won't be bothered (except by parking attendents, see further feedback)

Only issue with the accomodation itself is the sound proofing, from our room you could hear everything going on in the reception and dining area and felt like the opposite applied as well. Not an issue with the accommodation, but to take note for the location, the ring road for the Sale médina can be parked on for free but the parking 'attendents' trying to scare you into money are the most aggressive we experienced in Morocco. Standing in front of your car to block you in, and knocking on your windows, shouting at you and following you down the street. This happened in a couple of locations we tried. This does not reflect the actual médina or riad which was nice.

Marlinea is a beautiful and charming riad nestled in the back ways of the old city. Our hostess Naima was extremely kind and welcoming and made us feel completely at home. Our room was comfortable, spacious and impeccably maintained. The location is great as well, it's just a few minutes walk to the Marina and the tram station, and close to the markets in the old city. We would return here anytime!

- unpleasant smell from the bathroom (the wastewater system is not ideal as those old houses were not designed to have bathrooms in each room) - earliest you can get breakfast is around 9:00 disregarding what they tell you before you come or at check in

Traditional riad, nicely decorated, easy to find as long as you follow google maps and not the map on booking.com

My room had a rather small bathroom, it was an adventure to go past the toilet to enter the shower but the other rooms are better

Breakfast was not reach, but tasty. Inner architecture of Riad Marlinea is amazing! Very friendly staff. We were informed with details how to move in the city. Riad is situated very close to the beach and not far from old Rabat.

Accommodation is in Medina of Salé. 5 min walking distance, beautiful medieval building, nice terrace with a view of the Great Mosque. Good breakfasts, nice, friendly staff.

Old city center are exotic, especially in Africa.

Rooms are clean and location is nice. We spent only one night but it was pleasant.

Toilet in our room was microscopic. Each time we had to bend while washing the face and brushing teeth.
