It "helped" that the Team of Hotel Alkmaar had decided to give me an upgrade to their Junior Suite. Very comfortable and roomy. I did not use the "in-room tub" which was something I had never seen before. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. My types of food, great selection, all fresh. Many different types of delicious bread. All staff that I interacted with was extremely pleasant and friendly. That definitely added to my appreciation of the hotel and made my stay very enjoyable.

Really nothing that comes to mind ..... one thing, not sure that's up to the hotel .... move smokers / smoking area away from the entrance. Most times I had to walk through the "clouds of smoke".

Very friendly, client oriented and professional staff. Arrived and had an free upgraded room already waiting. Small issue in the room that couldn't be resolved on the spot and in return another upgrade was provided. Had a fantastic stay for myself and my child with a disability and nothing but praise for the assistance provided. 10/10 would recommend this hotel.

we were greeted with open smiles and friendliness. A mega+ is the fact that the hotel is pet-friendly. Also parking place in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this hotel!

Everything was ok for me so I do not have complains.

Very nice accommodation, comfortable beds and a sauna for family warm up after a cold day. Very good breakfast and a lot of parking places.

We were charged more than we were supposed to be on arrival, and despite the staff seeing us multiple times, they didn’t mention it until I noticed and asked about a refund. Everything was very friendly and polite, but I didn’t like the fact that they weren’t surprised (they knew about it) and hadn’t done anything proactively.

I liked the city and the centre , the room was clean and comfortable and the A/C was very good and the breakfast was also great

It is far from the centre

Everything is ok. This is not the first time we have stayed here and always in the same room. This time they gave us a different room. We asked for a replacement, and they politely replaced us with the room we always stay in. I am sincerely grateful to the hotel staff 😉.

The staff greeted us enthusiastically and told us we had been upgraded to a Junior Suite. Arriving at the room, we found it wasn’t ready, but the receptionist had flooded us up and this was sorted extremely promptly. Lots of free parking available. We didn’t use the car as there is a bus stop immediately outside the hotel which costs €1 to the centre. Breakfast was good too.

Additional information about public transport would have been useful but otherwise there wasn’t anything to dislike.

Staff quick and helpful and accommodating and staff speak very fluent English. Hotel near exit motorway. Fridge. Nice Dark out curtains

We enjoyed our visit very . being a ble to appreciate our beautiful room with staying two nights. The kindness of the staff was exceptional. The only shortfall was not having a proper restaurant for our evening meal. We have tried it out but really feel the food is very poor. If your own high quality evening meals could be reinstated the hotel would be second t o none.
